Got this for £10 in Bradford branch aswell , seems like certain branches have reduced it, the blue one is still £17.50 so offer is just on the pink one
Full price in Corby
Thanks, I've now superglued the current one so that has probably voided any warranty anyway. Just checking dates though, it looks as if both started showing the problem about 2.5 years after purchase. Planned obsolescence perhaps?
Contact Oral B via website. They have a 2 year warranty but they operate it very liberally. They'll probably send you a pre-paid label to return yours and send you a new one by return. These things cost very little to make and they don't repair, just replace.
I wish I knew!. I've been using oral b electric toothbrushes for decades and have never had the problem before. But the last 2 (both Pro 2000) have been awful. It seems to me they must have made the rubber thinner or less robust in some way. In the old days it always used to be the battery or motor that packed up (maybe due to water ingress), but now it seems to me that the rubber is the first point of failure.
The smiley face on the front is a bit of a draw tbh..
Is a magnet and a smiley face screen worth the £100 more than other high quality electric toothbrushes? Care to elaborate on exactly how and why?
I voted cold as I bought the 9000 for £90 before Xmas this is over 120% more expensive. I don't know what more you really get. They put some technical terms that mean nothing and a rrp that nobody would buy for. Dfs marketing.
Great deal! Clearly voted cold by those that use the £19.99 jobs. This toothbrush is worth every penny.
Damn thought was one of the 2000 etc for19.99 as my son needs a new one... I want those put a semi circle in your mouth brushes after seeing a YouTube as but they all seem Chinese and so assume fake. But looks like some innovation in the market
No I'm not, but I have 1 and after many years of making do with the oral b crap I discovered them and omg what a difference. I'm actually not sure why HUKD don't allow listing but would be interested to know.
They have star wars as well?
Thank you but that is the frozen one not the princesses one. Thanks anyway.
Are you on commission? Why don't you link to the UKHD page, oh, that's right, they removed it...
I believe the only difference between the X and X luxe are some extra brush heads and some fancy paintwork on the plastic travel case? If you are not fussed about the colour and paint job, can get the X for £99 from chemist-4-u. And another tenner or so for brush heads :)
Sorry, I have no idea the model I would recommend instead. I found the offer interesting until I started to read the reviews which have many complaints about the battery life although it is the product’s main selling point.
Which one would you recommend? Thanks.
There are many negative reviews about the poor Li-ion battery life of this product... I would be very cautious to buy this product.
Great comment (y) full comparison here https://www.electricteeth.com/uk/oral-b-pro-2-2500-vs-pro-3-3000/ The 2500 is currently £33.27 on amazon https://www.amazon.co.uk/Oral-B-CrossAction-Electric-Toothbrush-Rechargeable/dp/B00PIRQEBO
very good deal, same motor as the posh ones have some heat
Oral b recommend 3 months for theirs so the saving is around £1 a quarter! I'd like to find some similar quality ones cheaper but it's impossible to tell from an listing. After having to spend £2600 on a tooth implant (shock) I'm not keen on a small saving and putting teeth at risk!
Agreed - I've been using 'fake' heads for years, never had a single bristle fall out. With regards to the comment that a genuine head lasts many times longer, surely you would want to change the head frequently anyway?
Well, I usually use Reviewmeta or Fakespot sometimes and it comes back clean. Majority of the reviews are legit, and even with the fake ones removed, it's still 4.6/5 stars and a bunch of people who voted it well. I understand you may have had a bad experience or something but it doesn't mean all the products you see in future that are cheap are consisting of fake reviews just because of what you encountered in the past. I do suggest you use websites like Reviewmeta (although not always accurate) in the future to find that out though
3000 fake 5 * amazon reviews no doubt I'm still using similar ones that i got 3 packs of 25 from a couple of years back now they cost me 99p as a fake reviewer amazon (don't do them now) as Amazon have cracked down on these fake reviewers over the last few years but the over zealous fake review numbers remain, read the lower * reviews for a more honest view on anything rated this high on Amazon (y)
I had some cheap ones once and they fell to bits in my mouth! Not ideal. I always pay the price for the real ones now
Just picked a white and a pink up in Asda for £17.50 each.
Long time lurker, first time poster. Just found this - last one on the shelf tho' - at my local Sainsburys (Pontllanfraith). Worth noting, the one OP bought was the same as mine - it's a Sensi Ultrathin - whatever that means. The one in the picture is the Cross Action. That was there at £60. So some of the geese chasers may be lucky!
