No just iron or steel ones

danflorin3

Any big pans for induction hob?

Jetset1981

Thanks, yes you're right about that. The premier range doesn't either. Not sure where they sit compared to these either. I'll probably wait for the infinate to drop. I've a price alert set up.

custommade07

I think the ones on Amazon come with a steel handle? So would be oven proof. I could be wrong though. The tesco ones are silicone so only ovenproof up to 200c.

The pans are good, but when it comes to cleaning them, if you use anything more abrasive than a sponge, the coating comes off...

I noticed it says microwave safe Why on earth would you put a Frying pan in the microwave (shock) How would it fit?

I think Asda George are trolling us with these now. Doesn’t say much for the new Pro range when they go on sale, they never sell out.

These Scovilles don't hang around long. I'm yet to try the regular ones. However, we did buy the metal handled Pro set when on offer at £40, but sent them back. The non stick seemed good but the handles were a liability. They have sharp edges so are uncomfortable to hold, but worse, on a gas hob the handle became uncomfortably hot to touch.

Automatic - gear box gone after 50k miles... Nissan charge 6000 (yes, that's actually 6000) just for the gearbox, nevermind labour... certainly won't be buying Nissan again (yes, yes, I realise all cars have issues, but for that low mileage...)

skunkbcfc

My Mrs has a qashqai. Had zero faults as of yet .. any car is lottery. You can buy two exact same cars from a dealer brand new one be riddled with faults the other faultless for years .. mass produced parts etc always going to have something go wrong

ALBO4EVER

No idea. I guess its all down to luck also. Any car make can have issues. But to have so many faults in such a short space of time has put me off nissan.

ALBO4EVER

You clearly dont understand very good do you? Does your car never have any faults? And does you woman know you will leave her if she goes fatty? You saying brits have no knowledge about cars, how many cars has your country build? I can certainly name many cars that gets build in the uk.

Aleksandr_Cepurnych

Why do you moan about the car? Its not a cars fault its your fault because you buy diesel cr@p. A couple hours of research would be enough to make a right decision??? Isnt it??? Like most of men moans about their fatty women, again its your fault because you are with her. If you dont like get rid of it!!! But well most of brits only look at the broshure and havo 0 knowledge about cars!

Where am I splitting hairs? The only perceived advantage of sous-vide is low temperature, so if you up the temperature to ensure you've killed all the nasties, you're blowing away the possible benefit.

gazdoubleu

Splitting hairs now, you can choose the temp and these are silicone

mrb1974

Rubbish. Mines lasted less than a year. Too much hassle to change it.

qbs

Not all sous-vide bags are silicone. The other dodgy bit's the low temperature that may not kill all the bugs.
