I don't know whether it is still the case, but it used to be that by booking a Disney Hotel for your stay, you could use the Annual Pass during blackout dates.

I've never owned one so don't know whether Disney have closed this little benefit, but might be worth asking if you buy a pass
When u buy annual passes, all can be used on day of purchase, only the cheapest one (discovery pass) is the one u can’t use on 2nd and 3rd day of purchase. I’ve booked for April for me and my daughter going with a frend and her daughters, we’ve booked offsite hotel and Eurostar. We will use annual passes for 3 full days and 2 half days entry. We are buying the second tier pass and it’s valid on our dates. I will do a trip for a night in the summer with onsite hotel with annual pass discount and then probably 2 day trips or 1 night trips for Halloween and Xmas and even if I don’t its still a bargain. As 4 days tickets cost an adult £169 but annual pass £151. And u can choose where u stay on what trip. The second tier pass gives a good choice of dates. 300 days a year. First tier gives only 150 days a year and has a lot of blockout dates.
We got some annual passes in 2016, it was a touch more than buying 3 day tickets, but we easily got that back with the discounts on stuff we bought and on the food. It also meant we could pop in on the evening we arrived a day on the morning before we left, so instead of 3 days it was whenever we wanted.

We also went back last summer before they ran out and had a few more days, so it worked out as 2 x 4-5 days in Disneyland for just over £700.

We stayed in the hotels just outside the parks (Hotel B&B and explorers) which cost £230 AND £300 respectively for 4 nights each stay.

Drove down and used the tunnel, made for a couple of holidays the kids loved that didn't break the bank!

I will be visiting Paris and wanted to go Disneyland for 1 day as this is all our trip allows. We are 3 adults so wont necessarily want to see everything, just a general exploration and rides. My question is, should I book for 1 Day 1 Park, or will I have enough time for 1 Day 2 Parks. We plan to spend the entire day there until close
I am looking at visiting near Christmas I can't seem to book much for this date. Never have been before is this some thing I need to book nearer the time? Will there be similar deals? Thanks 😊

Food is on the expensive side for sure - just outside the park is Disney Village and there is a McDonalds and they charge the standard McDonald's price - there are a few more options there too. In the park itself - see this dlpguide.com/pla…us/ - another option is try and carry some of your own food (sandwiches/biscuits/crisps and juice/water) as they don't check/confiscate those and would save you a fortune. We always took something with us to eat and didn't rely so much on the onsite eating options.

It gets really busy so be prepared for that. Hope all of you have a good time there, enjoy

Its a call center so obviously some noise is expected although he tried to minimize it while looking for flights for me. The dates available for this deal are given on the page of the deal. You have to click on the "Full Details" tab. This deal is only valid for these dates and for the time shown. He told me you MUST come back after 2 nights 1 day for this deal to work. But I wanted to stay longer. I told him I want the deal but if he can give me a later return flight and I would arrange my own accommodation for the remaining days nearer to Paris city center. But he either did not understand what I meant or did not want me to get accommodation on my own so he just hung up. He was giving me EasyJet flights, 10kg luggage allowance and 8 nights in the same hotel for £799 for 2 people. If anyone is interested, he gave me his name (Nathan) and direct number (01386298002). However, since I have been able to find a 7 nights stay in Paris near Gare du Nord station + 1 day Disney tickets + Eurostar return tickets for 2 for under £550, so I will not call him back as this is more convenient for me than staying for the entire trip all the way out in Marne-la-Vallee and trying to pack lightly to avoid surcharge on overweight luggage.

any recommendations for park ticket discounts/cheap tickets? the going rate for summer seems to be £130 for adults for 3 days 2 parks or 117 for adults for 2 days 2 parks.

If you can afford that, you may as well go to Orlando for two weeks for a few grand more. Plus there are no rude foreigners queue jumping in America. Once you have been to Florida you won't give DLP a second thought, its poor value in comparison if you work out the daily cost.

Unless you are an American, you are also a foreigner. And Anaheim California is the true home of Disneyland, surely?
I know it’s not for everyone.

But if you want to do a budget trip to Euro Disney it’s worth checking out coach packages.

I stayed for 6 nights and didn't spend anywhere near that and the food was great. Plaza Gardens is a great value buffet, Inventions is expensive but worth it imo for the character interaction, Ratatouille was good food in an amazing setting, likewise Captain Jack's. Vapianos and Five Guys is good for a quick meal, avoid Planet Hollywood

Even McDonald’s is Bank loan expensive for three of us

Odd, we are a family of 4 and it cost €26 at Xmas 2017 for a meal in the McDonalds.
kirkyuk27th Dec 2017

Great find. Booked 5 nights for four people staying at the Kyriad …Great find. Booked 5 nights for four people staying at the Kyriad Disneyland Resort Hotel for only £580. My kids are teenagers and didn't want the waterpark at Explorers as it looked like its full of smaller kids. Now to wait for Disneyland park tickets to be released for later this year.Anyone know of the best or cheapest option for transfers to the hotel from the airport?

The best option is the train it’s about 10 minutes but it is silly expensive it’s soemtjing like £35each which depending on numbers maybe more expensive than a taxi but if you want the best it’s the train. The train station is right next to the bus park where the shuttle busses go to and from the hotel.

We have been to Disneyland Paris about 7 or 8 times and we find the cost is not the hotel the travel but park Tickets (though we usually buy annual passes as it is generally cheaper and you get free parking and early admission ) but the food. Even McDonald’s is Bank loan expensive for three of us we were looking at £100 Plus a day and this included having one meal a day of stuff from the casino supermarket in the station. I would also suggest that there is not more than three days at most things to do and a stay any longer does not increase your enjoyment but does rack up your costs.

We have been to Florida the last two years and whilst overall the holiday is more expensive it is much better value I think the Disney Tickets were around £350 each for 14 days this includes 4 parks the worst being better than the two Paris parks combined all transport and two fantastic water parks. Outside Disney three could eat decent evening meal for $25 with soft drinks and our cheapest hotel was under $50 per night and adequate. Flights (direct to Miami )and car 3weeks in August was £1275 for three
