Crunchy Nut Peanut Butter Clusters 525 g (Pack of 5) £7.50 Prime / £11.99 non-Prime @ Amazon

£7.13 with S&S High protein Low(ish) sugar ;)

It's gone, think the item has to be actually in stock for S&S to appear but now it's gone on back order so no S&S option :(

I see Kelloggs are still not transparent about nutrition labels. I no longer buy anything they produce. All highly processed rubbish anyway.

I must be blind, can't see s&s option?

Tastes awful

God no. I love crunchy nut clusters but the peanut butter ones are tasteless and horrible. Hot because it's good value but not for me.

Worked. Order dispatched nice one pal

Interesting, the glitch order was honoured and it's going to be delivered today

That's some cheap protein .

I think I've only used 5 bags so far lol. I still had another 5 bags to add to that pic because they didn't have chocolate brownie at the time to sending my order out. One bloke ordered about 150 bags and stuck the pic up, made mine look like I'd only bought a couple XD

Looks like my last haul lol

Fuel10k Peanut Butter 225G at Tesco (two for £3.00 or 50p each with Clicksnap - when you buy two) Max 12 packs per flavour @ Tesco
Found 19th OctFound 19th Oct
Other flavours available. Currently two for £3.00 but £1.00 back on each one through Clicksnap. This one tastes okay, not tried the chocolate one.

I've seen their name mentioned a couple of times, are they untrustworthy or something?

Bought the choc flavour a month ago. Tasted bitter, with a slightly sweet aftertaste. Had to eat some chocolate after to get rid of the taste. The crunchy pb flavour is salty. Not nice at all. I will stick to my usual brand made with 100% peanuts, nothing else added.

I've only tried the chocolate one, which I won't be buying again - so far it's just too runny and does it taste of chocolate - not really.

Urgh, what's wrong with selling it in a small tub that can be sealed well and not leak rather than creating some landfill packaging...

You haven't tried them then. Oppo Columbian chocolate & hazlenut is damn fine. Halo Top make loads of tasty flavours.

reminds me of the korean toilet themed restaurant

Bloody hell. Deal of the day without a doubt Wont be national though. This is a one off i think at that store

Sugar alcohols are near zero calories and if you aerate ice cream enough, you can lower the fat content and still make it soft. We'll probably see a lot more sugar alcohols used in products over the next few years, when I last went to the US they already had aisles of sugar free confectionery and lots of high protein/low carb stores import them. They're great... until you eat too much of it and the side effects kick in (anything that isn't digested by the body has to go somewhere...)

Body rub apparently. It's what guys do at the gym.

And it's still cold for no reason...

There is nothing added to this peanut butter. It's a really good quality nut butter. I add my own salt when I wish.

Peanut butter is not healthy. They are not my words but an independent nutritionist I spoke to.

Hot. I usually get Sainsburys budget own brand (but it is crunchy only) which is pretty good - great value compared to brands.

Never mind that......look at the Nut Butter next door on the shelf. Are they allowed? Does it make you blind?

Wow I'd have bought that without a second glance after checking the bbe.

These are really disappointing tbh.

Just buy a big bag of peanuts and pour some milk on. It won't taste any worse.

These are nice but should just be called peanut not peanut butter.

That's not what I meant, I'm saying the price is not as cheap as it seems, you can buy 1 box for £2.00 so why buy 5 for £10.00. If you know what I mean

These would be nice combined with something else and being sweeter, like a topper. As is they're neither a cereal nor a topper. A bit like some Jordan's cereals.

i no, i like crunchy nuts and such, but this is literally just unflavoured nuts in box, it's no

If you've tried this before and you like it, great offer. If you've never tried it, don't. It's just peanuts and doesn't taste of peanut butter or crunchy nut cornflakes in the slightest. We ended up feeding the box we bought to the birds.

Usually £2 when available in Poundland. Tesco £2.80 a pop so this deal is fine.

Nakd bars for 47p a bar!!! £24.78 @ Amazon
Found 18th AugFound 18th Aug
Just seen this on Amazon! Never tried these bars before but at this price I took the jump for my kids lunchboxes. looks like there’s other flavours at this price too

There are plenty of snack bars with less sugar - plenty of the healthier one - in fact ones with added sugar. I've got bars that have around 10g of sugar or less compared to the 16g here. So a third less. It seemed to me like you were commenting on the sugar not being added, not the total sugar content. Of course these are better than Dairy Milk, and so if you eat one of these as an alternative then you'll reduce your sugar intake. But being so high in sugar they're not really for reducing sugar intake. Just healthier ingredients. People shouldn't eat these thinking they're not eating sugar or a high sugar snack. There are plenty of bars in the healthier snack bar market with lower sugar, although typically with less clean ingredients, gluten, cereals etc.

I understand that but what I meant is these have natural sugars found in dates etc. They use dates obviously because they needed some sort of sugar source without resorting to adding sugar... otherwise they would be as tasty as cardboard. Normal bars have tons more added sugar. If you want a sweet treat these are much better from a sugar intake point of view too. Of course they are still sugary but that is not what I meant. If you're watching your sugar intake, while not willing to give up sweet stuff, these are much better. A 45gr bar of Dairy Milk has 25gr of sugar... My partner is one of those who loves sweet stuff and he found these bars "healthier" since there is less sugar compared to traditional bars but they still satisfy his sweet tooth somehow. If you want a healthy snack you don't have snack bars as they will always have a high sugar content in absolute terms but mine was a comparison between traditional bars and these bars and the "watching your sugar intake" was referred to those who are still eating treats but trying to cut down on sugar. I hope I clarified my previous statement. I am not trying to fight. Just like to discuss things politely :). I tried a few flavours of these and some are better than others but they are definitely less sweet than normal snack bars and I'm not someone who is crazy about sweet stuff.

No they're not. I'm not going to side with those that stupidly compared these to dairy milks last time, ignoring the whole ingredients etc. But these don't help with your sugar intake. You just need to look at the sugar content - which is 45.6% - 16g per bar. That's around 5 teaspoons per bar. Dried dates are very high in sugar and not the best fruit choice. It would be much better to get that sugar from fresh fruit. These bars do give you a big sugar hit. I have some, I find this flavour very tasty, they are better than traditional junk snack bars - but they are high in sugar. I am a healthy lifestyle freak, and don't eat traditional snack bars, but these aren't good if you're watching your sugar intake. You seem to think that not adding sugar means the sugar doesn't exist. And fruit sugars are no better than refined sugar really - arguably worse in some cases. They're better in fruit form with all the fibre etc.

Yes, dates are sweet but that's natural sugar. There's no added sugar like in normal snack bars. I'm not a healthy lifestyle freak at all so I will eat both types lol but if you're watching your sugar intake these are much better from that point of view.

They're still high in sugar because they're around half dates, but yeah, cretainly a better alternative to traditional snack bars and I agree with the rest.

Can't get the Aldi one .

I was thinking that. Don’t personally care all that much about palm oil but surely paying more for less peanut is just daft.

Probably better off buying the Aldi 100% whole peanut variety. Pretty sure it’s only £1.25 and it is literally just peanuts blended up and chucked in a jar.

Same price at Co-Op

Yada yada yada. Has palm oil. So cold. Even morrisons own ones have 100% peanut these days. Why buy this?

I love Kernel King! There's a shop near me, in Hull, that sells OOD or nearly-OOD food and they were selling 3 jars for a pound, so obviously I bought a couple of years worth (:I Kinda wish I'd bought the whole pallet TBH

We just got the standard kernel king not the kernel king + It's actually the bottle next to the one you took a picture of for 50p The + must stand for "we add lots of shite you don't want or need"

Read it on the label. Perhaps they make various blends, always read the label!

BSN Syntha-6 Edge Protein Chocolate Peanut Butter 1.92kg £22.49 Amazon
Found 12th AugFound 12th Aug
Seems like a great price for this

Thanks. I'll give that a go! Here's my breakfast shake: Buy a Lock and Lock cereal tub. Blend your oats into a fine flour. 1. Put in 300 - 350ml of milk (or water) 2. Put 1 to 2 teaspoons of honey (more or less to taste) 3. Put in a slab of peanut butter (Meridian or other good quality, but allow the tub to settle and pour off the oils before using it) 4. Put in two scoops of protein powder 5. Put in 100g of oats 6. Put in a banana. Blend and enjoy. (It tastes better without the banana, but when I'm in a rush I don't have time to eat it separately). It comes out at around 700 calories if I remember correctly and sets you up for the day perfectly.

Yeah, I always have it with skimmed milk. Mixing with water just isn't the same. Here's exactly what I do for a sumptuous milkshake......... 1 scoop of whey powder 250-300ml of skimmed milk 2 heaped tablespoons of lancashire farm low-medium fat yogurt (the one with 80 calories per 100 grams), although any yoghurt that you like the taste of will do. 2 tablespoons of sucralose sweetener. You can add more OR less to taste. Mix that in the blender for 15 seconds and pour it out into a pint glass (it'll be frothing like crazy). Cover it up with some clingfilm and leave in the fridge overnight. The next day, the froth will have disappeared and taste matured. Just give it a stir with a spoon and that's it...... the taste is better than any milkshake out there, no kidding (y)

I think I'll try Salted Caramel next time. I got my first My Protein order a few days ago, I'm liking the Smooth Chocolate Whey Isolate. I also find it tastes better with milk instead of water, I'll try your overnight fridge idea.

Yes, I can see how it would be obviously much more time and cost efficient to simply cook a meal, bring it to the gym, and immediately eat it post-workout.4 times a week +.

Good price compared to how much it normally costs, with the normal price being a total **** take. Apparently, guys buy this as much for the taste as they do for the protein. Myself, I always buy Myprotein impact whey Salted Caramel flavour as it's on offer regularly at £38-£40 for 5kg delivered and tastes absolutely amazing, not to mention it's one of the top rated proteins on labdoor. A tip....... after mixing, leave the protein shake in the fridge overnight for the froth to disappear and taste to mature, after which it's an absolute treat!!

Skippy Peanut Butter - 1.13kg at Costco for £3.29
Found 10th AugFound 10th Aug
Skippy Peanut Butter Smooth 1.13kg at Costco Leicester. Can't see this online. Attaching reciept.

That article states that pain oil is bad, but other oils are worse. Buying the meridian peanut butter solves that conundrum, as it is made from 100% peanuts, so no oil at all is required (except the natural peanut oil).

any palm oil experts have an opinion on this?

Peanut butter is not the greatest product in general. Packed full of unnecessary salt, sugar and/or palm oil. Meridian do a very nice peanut butter made with nothing but peanuts. Having said that, if you want the salty/sugary/palm oily ones, this is a good price, so have some heat.

Hot. Just bought 10 to smear over my naked flesh.

Utterly agree. This was a a favourite and I still buy it for cooking..a dollap added to a stir-fry gives it a delicious savoury edge
