When you’re making an investment in a new smartphone, especially one in the price range of the Pixel 6, you will want to know what everyone is saying about it - the good, the bad and the ugly. What better source to go off for tech advice than TechRadar, their website is dedicated to giving their unbiased opinions on the latest technology releases. So what do they say about the Pixel 6? TechRadar’s review of the Pixel 6 is generally very positive, they give the smartphone a rating of 4 out of 5 stars. One of the main features which attracts praise is the new Tensor chipset, for google’s first own chip it is a significant development that allows the phone to run smoothly and aids the excellent camera qualities of the Pixel 6.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg calls the Google Pixel 6 the “closest thing to an iPhone running Google’s Android software”, a compliment which sets the iPhone as the one to beat, with the Pixel 6 coming closely behind. Bloomberg also reviews the Tensor chip positively especially regarding its speed and power-efficiency. Another feature that is praised is the camera, however there are some areas of the phone which need improvement such as the often slow and inaccurate fingerprint scanner. Whilst the design of the phone is criticised by Bloomberg as being slippery and incoherent meaning that, ultimately, they pale in comparison with their competitors.
