Wow - you got a deal there! I'll look into 20kg 1" plates then. I'm sure I could save 10 mins per workout by not having to faff around with loading and unloading 10kg and 5kg plates. Cheers.

You can buy up to 25kg in standard single 1” plates though...You can pick up some good deals on Gumtree and FB, especially on 20kg plates. I got 150kg once (including 4 x 20kg) for £30!

True story,I had a number plate of mine get a ticket in Hungary recently though I have never been there (horror)

I can't see the point in steeling number plates either, but it happens. Surely this is cheaper than buying a press machine and blank plates or even replacing number plates.

4 x 5kg are usually around the £30 mark so this is a good find.

Apparently the removable plates GF Grills sound better than they work in pracice. A common complaint is that they heat up unevenly and not sufficiently hot compared to the fixed plate models. It's a pain as the GF Grills' big down side is the difficulty of cleaning. Lakeland did a removable plates grill that got rave reviews but for some reason they stopped making it

Correct. You can use sheets bottom to ensure plates are left clean after use
