Saw this myself yesterday, so is in more then one store and it wasnt the same store judging by the display layout.
Might be best to add which store to the title, as it's a store specific reduction going by the label. Thanks for posting.

Mophie not Morphie. Probably the most recognised power bank manufacturer worldwide and seem to be sold almost exclusively in high-end branded stores (like the actual Apple Store).

I think it is probably going to be more than this from the Motorola shop ... the wireless charging shell is priced at £39!

I will be getting rid of my old incipio battery pack and getting this, for the following reasons;

You can charge it independently (the existing has to be attached to your phone to charge, this has it's own charging slot)
Much higher capacity than the incipio
On off button, so you can charge when you want to.
Pretty much the same footprint and only 10g heavy than the incipio one
So with this your phone won't drain as fast as the money in your pocket
How is this a deal?
I have been watching this, and been on 2 chats with Amazon and they still have no idea when this will be on sale in UK.

Some of their products are sold for commercial servers, but I'm sure those servers would have better surge protection products than what I would be happy to pay for. This range has a higher value guarantee

I wonder how long the connected equipment warranty lasts for? I think that's where Belkin fell down, the warranty is huge in terms of pounds, but only lasted 12 months. I think, it was a year ago I last checked.

Do they really mean 2.690 Joule, or 2690 joules? If the latter, those look like they are designed to absorb a massive amount more energy. They could be better value for money, warranty permitting.

I suspect that mine don't get blown out in one big event, their protection gets chipped away in small spikes over time.

It has several PlayStations connected to it, they are all still working fine.My TV died while connected to the 6 way version, the surge light had gone out. But I couldn't be sure when. I've started paying a lot more attention to the lights on them because of that.Fortunately it was insured, the repair people weren't 100% sure what causes it's death, just told me the panel was dead.I've also go this one:https://www.amazon.co.uk/Masterplug-SWSRG62N-Protected-Extension-Individually-White/dp/B01G8TYLL0/Which has been functioning without problems for the last year. But when I went looking for the receipt for the other, I see it says it to register for the connected equipment warranty on the packaging which I never noticed before. I'm not sure if it really is necessary, or if I can now. Highly annoying.I tried a £30 Belkin one last year, but sent it back. The warranty was pitiful and like you say, half the sockets I couldn't use because of the shape of the plugs. But IIRC they can withstand more joules of energy.I am wondering if anyone ever manages to get a masterplug one to last for 3 years, which kind of defeats the point of such a long warranty.I've also got a single socket masterplug protector for my laptop. It has a power light on it and a surge light. The surge light works, but the power LED failed. When I contacted masterplug to ask if it was still safe to use, they told me it was fine, LEDs just die quite often. Which makes me wonder about the accuracy of the indicator LEDs.Those are my (probably not very helpful) thoughts at the moment

cheap and poor qulaity from soneone who has owned one.

Also owned one. Stopped working very quickly. Total rubbish. Would rather buy a lithium one from Amazon at this price.
These sound like a good idea, but in practice I've found them to be almost useless (I say almost because the air pump is handy for inflating push bike tyres with Schrader valves - but I could buy a pump to do that for about a fiver). From experience I'd recommend getting a set of slave leads (about £15 buys a good enough set) as a better alternative.
This is old tech, much better investing in a small lithium ion jump pack
I have been using a borrowed Halfords branded jump starter to start a 1.8l petrol car for a few months now and it has been faultless every time.

It looks identical to this Ring one at Screwfix which makes me think it is just a re-branded Ring product.

I know it is a lower spec to the one you have posted, but it may be worth investigating if Ring do a higher spec version.

does anyone have one of these that they can provide their impressions on?
How do these rate to other charging solutions?

e.g. I'm thinking of building a 12v power box with a 12v 7aH lead acid battery with a cigarette lighter socket and a couple of USB ports.

Charging-wise how does it compare to the Anker 20000mAH (20aH) device?

Should come in handy.

Can someone tell me what a power disc is. I've just been informed this … Can someone tell me what a power disc is. I've just been informed this game is high on my daughters Xmas list and no idea what I need.

They are discs which, when placed on the main unit, add extra bonuses.
Some give different skylines, some different ground displays, others add extra vehicles to use and others give laser guns and so on.
I think there are 20 different discs in each series and a pack contains two discs. The only problem is that you have no idea what those 2 are, so you often end up with duplicates.
You can also stack the discs on top of each other in order to use multiple bonuses at the same time.
Some retailers also have "exclusive discs" only available in packs sold in their stores.

For example, in the US, Toys R Us have 5 exclusive discs.
My brother sent over 5 packs this week for my kids..... Typical that all 5 contained the same "exclusive" Tron disc.
Fortunately CEX are giving £2 cash or £3 trade-in for this disc so the kids have £12 credit to use on characters.

The power discs are NOT an essential part of the game but do add something extra to it.
Also worth noting - it makes no difference what console you/your child have. The discs and characters all work on any console.
Can someone tell me what a power disc is. I've just been informed this game is high on my daughters Xmas list and no idea what I need.

Not a bad idea, you could route it through your belt hooks!

I only carry a bag when I really need to, though if I am on a day trip or holiday chances are I'll have my backpack for carrying essentials like water. In all other situations one spare battery is probably enough. Main situation I find myself in is when I'm on a night out my battery will often die before I get home and a spare battery is great for that. I obviously won't have a bag with me so a power bank is bad there. But I don't intend to take my expensive S3 clubbing with me anyway. If only I could find a way to have the same phone number on two SIMs because SIM swapping is going to be a pain now too especially when my old phone is mini SIM and new one is micro.

I don't think universal l-ion chargers are that good, they're more a substitute for your original charger. Great for emergencies however (forgetting to bring a specific charger) and they have the added benefit of allowing you to charge two phone batteries at once.

Not sure I want a bulky extended battery, could get this plus a spare battery and use them in different situations. But still don't know how on earth this could charge a phone in a pocket. One of the reviews said he did just that, must have deep pockets. I know you could fit this plus your phone in a pocket no problem, but it's the wire and connection that get in the way.
