Voted hot, because it looks like a great deal, but that's not the case. I cancelled my Groupon vouchers (you have 14 days to do so too for a refund).

Below is the quote they gave me when I tried to book. Initially the offer you the most inconvenient flights. If you want to change them, you have to pay an upgrade of £38 per person... even though the flights are not more expensive than the ones offered when I checked on Ryanair's site.

Although they advertise it as 4 nights, they expected me to spend one of the nights on a train or bus... when I objected, they offered a flight upgrade for £25pp.

32664134-7qNr4.jpg
Can’t understand how they’ve explained the dates,it’s ridiculous.
Has anyone used this deal before?
Tempting deal....but I am a bit concerned about the flights, airports, timings and transfer. If anybody has any info regarding this. Please share.
I've had my fill of Eastern Europeans and I've only just been to Tescos.

In what form does the transfer between cities take ? Plane, Coach, Train …In what form does the transfer between cities take ? Plane, Coach, Train ?? It's about 500km away . . .

Train... 14-hour overnight seater train with two changes... or 14-hour bus service... or you pay extra to upgrade to a flight.

Decent deal!
v8griff4 h, 13 m ago

Looks tempting, anyone had experience using this company?

I haven't used them but my advice would be don't bother. I've posted on a few of these GoGroupie deals now because I feel it's important people know what they are actually getting for their money.

Using this deal as an example, the cheapest flights out of Stansted for the dates quoted (Dec 11-13) are with Ryanair and cost £51 per person. The flight out leaves at 19:40 and arrives in Prague at 22:40. The flight home leaves at 07:05 so as kasewene has pointed out, you'll end up with just one full day in Prague.

Hotel Aida has decent reviews but isn't central at all so you'll waste even more time travelling into the city. It's also available for £67 for the dates quoted, so the total cost if you book directly with Ryanair for the flights and booking.com for the hotel would be £84 per person - cheaper than this deal.

If you're interested in this sort of break the best thing to do is use Skyscanner to find flights at an airport that works for you and then something like booking.com or expedia for the hotel. You'll be able to choose more suitable flight times and a hotel or apartment that's in a better location and/or better quality.

Prague 2 night break 4* hotel £83pp @ holiday pirates
392°Expired
Found 12th Jul 2017Found 12th Jul 2017
Great 2 night break in Prague. 4* hotel. Might go for this. Great city, diverse nightlife :)
Be wary of booking.com. I travel a lot and some of the hotel/hostel scores are WAY off the mark.
Better if you look on booking.com for a slightly nicer/closer to the centre hotel imo. The pictures shown on holiday pirates' site aren't of the room you'd get for that price. I've found flights from Manchester on the 30th - returning on the 4th (Oct-Nov half term) for £80pp. Also found a nice hotel called Prague Holiday Apartments on booking.com for £239 for 4 nights.
For a two night break I think I'd look for a more central hotel but the flights are certainly a great price. Lovely city.
Great price and I would have booked this if it was available from NCL.
Prague is a great city, but probably better if you can stay for an extra few days.

They don't offer or guarantee connections, if you choose to use them, you do do at your own risk, any airline can suffer from delays.

It's the airport equivalent of the rancid, rotten, decomposing testicles of a camel that died from testicular torsion with a side order of leprosy festering in the middle of the hottest summer in the Sahara after being savagely beaten with a baseball ball made from a nearby cactus. And infected with a million fly eggs. Otherwise, this is a great deal! It'll make up for having to pay £3 for a drop off. I went about 10 years ago and loved our 4 night break. Then returned this year and couldnt believe how the city centre had become a free for all tourist trap full of vendours and promoters selling their tacky wears and services. The influx of Tourists from around the world since there are no borders anymore has made it a lot easier for coach tours making it a very busy place to try navigate.

I found it was more the locals pandering to it being a tourist trap that lessened the experience.

Literally everywhere you move in the old town you are getting harassed to go to a bar, take a leaflet, go on a damn tour etc. And at night we couldn't move between bars for people offering us drugs or trying to get you into suspect "clubs".
