Im assuming you need to print black and colours each week ? My last epson stopped printing correctly after 6 months due to this, just bought a hp and signed up to 99p 15 prints each month, i think its great
I've had so many issues with HPi printers lately - sent 2 printers back. Working at home, I have to generate GMP paperwork that I sign and send to other colleagues. For me the scan function is as important as the print function. The HP printers (2 x 8015) scan a few things OK and then abort/cancel scan jobs 4-8 times in a row , seriously time consuming and annoying when it happens (frequently). You'll pay a lot more for an Epson Ink Tank printer but you'll be paying about £10.for a bottle of black that'll do 4000 pages and same for colour bottles that'll do 8000 pages vs £10.a month for 300.pages on HP instant ink. Pay for the printer or pay for the cartridges.
Use FREEINK for an extra month and also referral codes (not allowed here).
Good home office printer. A)Tip - once a week print out (at full/highest quality) an ink heavy picture (A4 size). Why? It stops the (extremely fine) ink channels in the print head, from drying out & blocking/clogging. This is important. B) Instant ink is a real winner for me. Just takes the whole hassle out of the whole situation of sourcing cartridges & makes it affordable in a way thats acceptable. Genuine cartridges with genuine ink - at a manageable price
Quick update... After receiving my printer and while setting it all up, I did not see any mention of the 5 months free ink. I did proceed by entering codes for a month free and code from a friend for another month free (you know who you are lol) which was applied. I then called HP Instant Ink and the fella on the phone insisted I would only get 5 months in total and not 7 months. I fought my corner politely but I ended up giving in only to have the phone call dropped! I sent an email and the reply was that I had emailed the wrong department and so would need to call HP Instant Ink. So I called up again and was received by a very polite and professional customer rep who asked for proof to be sent over. He applied the 5 months but then the 2 extra free months had disappeared. He then eventually got those added on and then finally I had the 7 months on my account showing. So in the end it worked out, thank you OP and anyone else who helped with posting the offer and codes.
anyone else having difficulty getting the purchase to go through. customer services have basically said that sometimes the website plays up & to keep trying!
They think I'll try again, thanks
For me , they credited free months when I called them. But you can try calling them again.
They just told me when I insert the new ink cartridges I should receive shortly the free months offer should work?? Doesn't sound right to me??
Is this worth getting just for the scanner? I only need to print things rarely like maybe 3 times a month and just ask a friend at the moment but i really want to scan in lots of documents and magazines, old photos etc
i saw that, no wonder its expensive to run
Only accepts HP ink has ruled that out for me
Could you recommend any decent mono laser printers with cheap toners? Thanks

Cold because even though it's the cheapest price, printer ink is a complete rip-off. Can hardly be described as a "hot deal"! I recently spent over £300 on 4 colour toners for my latest printer. The cheapest at the time but hugely overpriced. And you have to get the genuine stuff. Tried the second party refills on my last printer. Three separate companies. The first two leaked and smeared ink everywhere, the third broke the printer. Never again.
That's insane! I'm happy with my five quid eBay toners (embarrassed)
This is very good price for this toner. HP has recently increased their prices. Normally this would be sold for £200 +. If you have a brand new printer, you have to use genuine to keep the warranty. Not sure why cold, please find same product cheaper
High yield !!! At that price i would expect it to paint the Town Red or Black or any other colour it comes in.
Our printer at work is over £1000 a set, madness.

Is this deal still going says it’s instock and shows a pic of 12 months free ink
02076606027 you get the first 3 months at 300 pages. £32 credit is applied to the account to be used against what plan you downgrade to after the 3 trial month has have run out. The bigger the plan the less months you get from the credit., should be potentially up to 12 months free. I applied two codes at sign up and despite printer should come with 3 months anyway I still didn;t get the extra 2 months.
Which number did you call? Thanks in advance
I just got this printer 2 days ago with 3-month then spoke to HP got the remaining nine month as a credit to my account one call to hp very happy.
Lots of people on the question and answers at the bottom talking about this - fair few managing to get the 12 Month eventually using credit? Why is nothing ever easy!!

Kodak Photo Printer Black & Tri-Colour Ink Cartridge with Paper - £3.99 @ Argos/Ebay
Fair warning to anyone subscribed to their Instant Ink program... --------------- I forgot to cancel/update my plan last month, so I was charged the £9.99. That was my mistake. Then instead of cancelling my plan, I opted to update it to the 15 pages 0.99 plan and give it a try - I barely use the printer. Now I was charged again, and when asking for a refund in the support chat: "I am so sorry we are not authorized for refunds. However you can change your plan and avoid future charges." This is so wrong, when they don't explain properly how things work. £20 on this two months, almost half what I've paid for the printer. Anyway, sorry for ranting. Hope someone else doesn't go through this. CANCEL WHILE YOU CAN! (embarrassed) (in case you don't use it, of course).
How do I do this? Pm me please thank you
It's pretty good. You can downgrade to the 15 or 50 pages a month etc. 15 used to be free but think you need to pay a pound a month or so. If you really want to be cheeky you can change your printer serial number in the engineering menu every time your trial ends and start a new trial. Had my printer for about 4 years and always works (lol)

100% DO NOT recommend HP printers. The software is horrendous, the support feels like barriers in place to avoid you contacting as much as possible. After a driver "update" randomly pushed to the printer, now it no longer allows me to print, because it wants to contact the "instant ink service" to basically send back info on whether the 'ink is running out', but now cannot "connect", so it has disabled all printing. This all suddenly happened after they emailed everyone claiming they'll be stopping the "free" ink service, but I assume they backed off and now they are push people off this way.

I'm tempted by this but not sure I can justify spending £149 for just occasional printing.ideally looking to spend less than £50 if possible with cheap compatible catridges.any more thoughts any one?
I have one of these Brother laser printers, bought for circa £110 inc delivery, so pleased with it I'm looking for another one. But yes, temp out of stock at most places, although amazon had some in stock earlier today at £149.
An HP wireless monochrome laser, for the price of a colour laser from another brand...

I'll have a look now. Whats the name of the seller?
The 3rd party I have looked at on Ebay come with chips. The chipless ones clearly say they are without a chip. The ebay seller I will be buying off sells loads but I have not yet tried them, still on test toner . You could always refill and reset using the keypress method
There are lots of complaints about using 3rd party toners with this printer, many saying they don't work with this printer, someone on amazon said they had to change the chip on the toner to get it to work, any ideas if there's an easier way around it? I'm considering the printer you've mentioned.
(lol) More to do with the fact that these don’t work as often as they do. Not worth picking one up and gambling on it working, then having to return if it doesn’t. Roll a die to see if the printer will accept it and then suffer generally poorer quality printing of it does? Cheap yes, value no, hence the cold votes.
This is an excellent price! Voted :)
Why is this cold?

Yes it starts as soon as install cartridge they sent. Better install both colour and BW cartridge at same time. But it is up to you.
Thanks for this, finally sorted, had to send them a photo of my packaging. I still have the original ink installed, so am I right in thinking that the free offer only starts when I replace the ink, with the cartridges they sent? Also i guess I only replace the cartridge that runs out, and not replace both!!
Worked out perfectly for me - got the printer, applied for the cashback and got paid the same last night. Also set up the instant ink - used the FREEINK and refer a friend code to boost it to 7 months free ink and then changed it to a 1500 page a month trial (a month of that alone costs £45). So all in all I now have the printer for £40 (coz I used some work discount) and the possibility of printing 10k+ pages - whats not to like :) Big thanks to the OP @Russ2626 and everyone else who helped here with the deal - you guys rock.
Same re cash back. Also, finally got my cartridges delivered! Said they were sent on the 4th!
