Then get some new batteries in them ;)

Topov81

They're absolutely fine on the PS4 controllers - you honestly don't even notice they're there.

Serpico73

Agree was going to pull the trigger on the dual one the other day until I saw them stuck to the back. Probably best to wait for a few more weeks until better ones are released.

sohailh1984

Should be ok if you keep them plugged in - doesn’t look like they’d distract too much when gaming but agree they’d be better without them

soarous

The charging dongles you have to attach to the controller look pretty annoying and easy to lose. You can see them in the photos on the Amazon page.

Chanchi32

Odd but not working now, the code is still displaying on their site though so maybe a temporary thing, will check tomorrow but expired it for moment. thanks

Daniel_Tomlinson

just tried the code and its no longer working

Should HAVE.. Anyway... It's the graphic, ram and cpu chips that are usually in shorter supply, not necessarily the accessories. Unless you care enough and want one at launch, what difference does it make? if you're happy for them to delay the launch you clearly aren't in any rush. You can plan the console for years, but the actual manufacture has to be when the components are all assembled and ready, and cheap enough to mass produce for their target RRP

tristanangel

Yes I work for the NHS and realise how real COVID is but I don’t care for the 100 million plus units made they need lots more than that and understand their target audience is greater than that but I love the fact they have loads of accessories available. My point being they should of made enough units before releasing them as this has been years in the making or not making being the fact.

Cheapest price currently though only by a tiny margin! Every little helps :D
Gaston_Mesias

Not a bargain first of all and secondly I paid for a Switch Pro controller which is by far the most expensive one I've ever bought but it's well worth it. Weight is perfect, materials and components are high quality. It's a luxury to me. PS5 controllers look great but in terms of design the thumbstick being lower than the dpad just doesn't make any sense

gamerforever

At least it is next gen...

Greg_Greg

FIFA2021 already on PS5? Can't find any more reason why someone already want a new controller

carlhoughton10

To be fair, fighting games were always massively overpriced during the 16-bit console era, hence why the cricket game was only 34.99. The games press had a permanent hard-on for beat-em-ups for some reason, these games were always over-priced.

Deantrain

Its been the trend for a while though...i.e. mobile phones batteries can't be replaced as it forces us to upgrade after a while. Were just seeing Sony true colours now.

I'm not getting hissy, just pointing out facts about the pricing. The UK is in Europe, so, I did cover European pricing. OK, sure, I can do the same for prices in Euros if you like? So the controllers RRP is €69.99 inc taxes, compared to the previously shown approximate $77 in the US. So, OK, it's like $5 more. Not much, and especially on something that you won't need many of, but I agree it's higher. How is it a rip off, though? Lets look at the Dualshock 4 launch pricing, shall we? It was €59.99, let's check some inflation on that, which would bring it to almost €64. So, sure it's gone up about 10%. The controllers are pricey, but that's kind've OK. They're your primary interface to the device. I'd rather pay and get a high quality device that will last well, and still feel good after hundreds of hours of use. Each console generation has seen the controllers become more advanced, and have better durability, if that continues, then you'll need to replace it less frequently, more than countering the price increase. Plus, it's unsurpriing the controllers are going up in price, when this generation consoles seem unbelievably cheap, considering the hardware they're including.

mark077

I didnt mention uk prices so thats irrelevant... I said the prices are 70 dollars and 80 euros... basically what your numbers show?? The fact is this is a ripoff..No point getting hissy over numbers when the business practice is what is the .... take here..

Hearnia_2K

So, you stated that Europe is getting shafted again, and then when shown that's not true you claim it wasn't your point. So, what was your point?

mark077

Not my point, nothing justifies this...

Hearnia_2K

Except the controller is only £59.99 inc 20% VAT.... which is about $78. In many places that'll be about 8-12$, so $70 (RRP excluding sales/use taxes) + 10% = $77... looks pretty similar to me.
