Yet another Apple rob you blind 'cos were are brand snob sheep ripoff.

Just ordered too! - Just FYI iPhone users, you will need an official Apple USB C cable to use fast charging as they haven't opened up certification to third party companies yet (I believe so anyway)

Ordered as well, thanks!

Received this yesterday and the quality is fantastic. A worthy replacement to the original pixel 2 cable and better. Not tempted to get another for the car!

Not the same cable, that's USB A to Type C whereas this is Type C to C. These are generally more expensive whereas USB A to Type C can be found in Poundworld

Awesome deal for a USB C to C cable, have no doubt it'll be great since it's from Aukey. Cheers OP, ordered and heat added (highfive)

Note 1 in the description says This cable can not be used to load MacBooks, but connected devices already. Please use the original cable (or similar cable) to charge your MacBook. Not sure what that means really, but doesn't sound like it's suitable for MacBooks. Think this one is better and it's USB-IF certified too (dearer at £6.99 though): https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01GGKZ1VA/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Good price for a dual QC 3.0 charger. I got this a couple of weeks ago and it is 'grippy' and stays in the 12V socket, unlike some others I've used.

You're a bit of a charger-genius. Which charger would you recommend? Not too bothered about cost but the best cost: feature set charger, ideally with Power Delivery 3.0? Thanks :)

Higher amps than previous quick chargers (i.e. quick charge 2.0). It will only charge faster if you have a modern device that supports QC 3.0 though. Heat.

I've ordered many aukey items including chargers. On one of the double chargers I ordered the usb pins become bent and the port no longer works. Bit of a shame really however aukey cs is brilliant and they post a new one out within a couple of days if you contact them.

where did that say? this is a replacement or add-on for the peeps.

But why is this better than the original quick charger?

exactly, same.

It seems a great spec for a rugged phone at under £130. I've had lots of Xiaomi phones and been really happy with them but never seen one by this brand. Does anyone have experience… Read more

I went through a phase of looking at "rugged phones" for boyf as he's very heavy handed (usually he goes through a few tempered glass protectors, his phones end up scuffed, etc). Ultimately I decided to go for performance over toughness and went for a Xiaomi MiA1 (64GB) with a glass screen protector and this "clip together" front and back case. Fingers crossed, it's still in one piece two months later. ...though he has nearly "left it behind" a few times - I joke that I should buy him a Lanyard, and make him wear his phone round his neck!!

I picked up a Blackview 4G Rugged Mobile Phone, BV7000 from Amazon, last November, for my daughter (who previously destroyed 2 previous phones, one of them Doogee - that wasn't very good). The BV7000 has survived 2 drops without a scratch it cost £112 in the sale, it has NFC and Finger scanner, and it plays Minecraft etc unlike her old Doogee.

For the price, this phone could be good, but my most recent Doogee phone (X7 Pro) lagged badly. I also had the X5 which was really good, but I'm thinking that Doogee phones are all a bit pants these days, which makes it hard to justify spending this sort of money on one.

Had a Doogee X5 Pro 2GB/16GB at £40, which worked quite well for me. Mine was unable to upgrade to later Android but subsequent production batches could upgrade. Began to expect more from my mobiles but good intro as my first Android. Other Doogees sufferred from malware in firmware or on upgrade, malware in new firmware. Ads popping up after install about month later. Only way to stop it, was a firewall but operating the other way round, to stop apps&malware on mobile contacting out. But, mine was unable to update, hence, was fine, sort of. Perhaps, Doogee have changed.

Thanks, helpful. I will give it a miss. Shame Xiaomi don't do a rugged phone. my dad is on his 3rd phone of 2018 already! He had a rugged phone a few years ago and that lasted a few years so I need to find him another but want finger print reader and NFC

Very little stuff like that is made inside UK or Europe, so it's all about processes of design, quality control, testing and paperwork. Chinese sourced items that don't go through this process regularly aren't built to UK and European standards, even when they've chosen to print whatever they fancy about what standards they think they adhere to on the items- after all, where's the paperwork that suggests they've actually gone through those tests (that UK importers would have to check and hold and be responsible for.) Although I buy lots of bits via the usual outlets direct from China, especially cheap electronics components, I never buy mains voltage items direct for that reason - failures of mains voltage items not built to spec have a much greater potential (literally) to destroy things and kill you.

Code not working. It has expired.

Does anybody know of this genuinely is a fast charger? I know Samsung phones will have a "fast wireless charging" notification. I know a lot of chargers market themselves as fast chargers but in actual fact, they are just normal (i.e.slow) Qi chargers. From the again reviews, it looks like this is one of the fake Fast Chargers I'm happy to be proven wrong though

Decent price for a decent charger. Click on promotion for 7.49. applied at checkout. Not sure if just for prime members.

No idea then...(without going in to conspiracy theories that they pay HUKD an affiliate fee or similar to allow them to be posted here to boost sales).

Got mine this morning, works really well. Even with a case & popsocket on my phone it charges just fine. Can’t complain for £8. Only thing to note is that you do need a USB adapter if you want to plug it into the mains.

Even with what you've mentioned posts are still removed, unfortunately.

The phone is compatible with QC2.0 and 3.0 so you will be able to use another QC3.0 charger and it will be fine. Just the adaptive charger that comes with it is not QC so cant fast charge this wireless charger.

Fair point. But does that imply that s9 with exynos (mine is german version which I believe also has exynos) does not have QC support at all or simply the charger provided is not QC? Because if the first is true then I would imagine none of the QC wireless fast chargers would actually fast charge it?

Seen it cheaper on here before but still a good deal. I paid £20 full price a couple months ago for mine and it's awesome.

I don't. Only bought one of these Quick Charge ones because it's better than the standard one I bought last month. The other is an Anker which was the first one I bought.

Why do you need 3?

Got an older version of this and has lasted over 2 years with only negligible reduction in capacity. Very pleased although this seems a steep price given some of the others posted recently.

I've only ever bought Anker batteries, but I'd be willing to give this one a go

i've used the 26,000 dual charge of these for the last two years. In terms of bang per buck in power output I am pretty sure you will find better. But thats not the point with these, they hold their charge for literally months. even with the basic dual charge one I have, I can charge the 26,000 from scratch to full in 8 hours ( using decent charger and cables) which is invaluable for travelling and overnight charging. Cannot recommend enough.
