Thanks Mr Rai As mentioned above, I am on an old Legacy plan called Talk & Text 500 (with unlimited data added) about 3 years ago. Nowhere on the website does my old plan show up. Hence the confusing phone calls with the Three reps and ignorant call centres. They arent sure themselves how to interpret the EU law/Ruling and whats advertised on their website. You seem to have a great deal at £6.87 for AYCE ! How did you manage that? Thanks your further inputs, guys/

Mr_Rai

Does not show you if you got Roam around the world when signed into the three web site But it does say “Our Essential Plans give you Go Roam in Europe, while our Advanced Plans let you use Go Roam Around the World. Check out our plan details.” So maybe check what plan your on there site , View or download the price guide (pdf) that is relevant to you below:

Onlydongles

I dont use the Three app on my phone, since I purchased the phone separately from China. ANy other ideas?

Mr_Rai

Not sure but I think Go roam in 72 countries is available to everybody meaning all new and old customers on advanced plans. Maybe if you commit for another 12 months then you should get it as my wife didn’t have it in August when we went abroad but when she upgraded ( renewed up contract) she was offered it I think people on old essential plans only get ho roam in Europe not the full 72 countries like you do with advanced contracts. If you sign into my 3 then it should show up

Junaid26

Does it show go roam as being active in the plan section of the app?

I originally went online to get this as an upgrade for my existing Vodafone contract, and paid a £29.99 upfront fee however the CPW store I wanted to have it delivered to wasn't listed on their web site (it's a very new store). I'd also tried to get this deal in another CPW store too but they only had the £36 / 100Gb tariff available as an upgrade, oddly. I secured it by phoning up CPW and ordering over the phone. Will collect the phone from the CPW store I wanted to have it delivered to, tomorrow. :)

Ah yes. My apologies. I was looking at the top one.

It's the second one on this list. Apologies it looks like it's £50 on TCB (any other mobile contracts) Quidco is £100.

I don't know why some people can't understand the very first line, yet will still go on & on! & also can't provide a better deal on VODAFONE for low users! This has already helped one person here who had no choice of EE or THREE. All the spoil sports are interested in spoiling for others as it is not beneficial for THEM! Any way, now this deal has expired.

dca860

Tiresome How many times can I say something for YOU to comprehend that I can read that line. It doesn't apply for this HotDealsUk site because it isn't a hot deal. Anyone can find YOUR deal because it isn't special. I know you'll come back and say the same thing yet again as you are clearly determined to get the last word in for your so called deal that is very negatively thought of. Good luck with that, I'm done

hunsbury0

Hot deals are no good if you don't get reception! If you can't read & understand the very first sentence of the post, then God help you! Deals will keep changing at all times, so that's why people keeping checking this site at all times till they see a deal that is suitable for them. You state that anyone can find the tariff that I posted. If that was the case, then no body would be looking at this website!

dca860

Once again, look at the Web site you're posting on. "Hot Deals" Fail Anyone could find the tariff you posted! There's now another Voda deal been posted on this site. Much better!!!!

hunsbury0

I don't care about the feedback if they are like you who don't understand this post! If you only have the option of Vodafone only, then this deal would interest you. I clearly stated that the deal is meant for Vodafone users! Once again, find a better deal for low usage on Vodafone!

Exactly, you have no idea so you know what...don’t pick on those less intelligent than yourself.

good

what you on about now...?

seaniboy

No one could put up with what he did, time confirms that. But the “trash” was born by national governments, when you over subsidise to entrapment level you feed the financial market - the one the gov wants to boom, the class divide gets worse. Someone on 50K a year, 25K or 18K a year all look down, but they don’t look up and blame those voting the legislation in nor do they challenge it at that level. Look at how the French tell their government of dissatisfaction - and they pay astronomical income tax. Poverty feeds the financial market that feeds the market, that why no U.K. a party ends it, short term view, if social housing was £100 a month more people would have money to spend and would work their ass off, thus the financial market suffers. If you made NHS pay DWP benefit rates for and to substance abusers instead of passing the buck to DWP then you bet they would all have professional dedicated substance abuse units where it isn’t about prescriptions and passing the buck, it’s about changing someone’s life to save the NHS money. Poverty entrapment work$ for the country just not for any of its citizens.

good

well, perhaps there is another man in the bedroom then. Fact stands this country has too many trash living off social benefit.

seaniboy

The fact is you are reactive not proactive. Wouldnt imagine so, they separated over 25 years ago. One was a hard worker the other wouldn’t have had me or my father if CTC had existed then. I’ve seen it in my own family, the state creates dependency, and keeps wages low. Feeds more cash to corporations than citizens on “benefits”. Divide and conquer. Of which you play part of that propoganwith a narrow-minded reactive viewpoint.

Now that IS an idea matt!!! Sometimes the obvious extra deal, is sitting there and smacks you in the face!! That would be a very cheap way to have a year of 6gb EE data, I think the expiry would be 180 days, as it is on EE cards, if you do not active or top them up, will find out as have 2 on the way for next week, will also ask if they expire on Monday via live chat on IQ site!

bitcoin5

No, I gave an opinion on what was an issue, nobody slated your deal or deals, its not a playground, this is a deal, as it is £6 less than anyone that WANTS cheap data, you are missing the point, that you only need to use it, when you ACTIVATE it, so it is useful for those that cannot pass a credit check that need temp internet or calls while waiting for a landline or just to send Aunt Bessy a text saying you love her, 1000 times.. there is no conspirisy on HUKD.. just conspiritors.. if you do not like the deal, voice your reason, get the reply and move on.. its a deal site, if you have an issue with any deal posters, just use that magic mute button, which is what it is for...

I recently moved to Three from Vodafone. Bad mistake as the 4g speeds are a joke. Having to use 3g just to achieve 5.5mbps. This looks like a good deal. Anyone have experience of how the cashback system works as it looks fairly straight forward as you can upload now?

ek00103

looooove this deal! I've just ordered mine, moving from being with three for 5 years. Fed up of their super slow internet and not being able to get signal in Central London! I pay for spotify premium anyway (share with boyfriend on a family account and split, £7.50 each) so this deal means I'm only really paying £10 a month for 50GB of data after cashback and spotify taken into account. Multiple redemptions will be a pain but worth it for £30 a time. voted HOT!

kevsfx

Pretty sure "EE essential" now includes speeds up to 60mb/s.

sinxa

The 50GB Red Entertainment comes with over 70 location including the USA. The 40GB Red extra only comes with majority of EU, around 40-50 location, so in my opinion the £3.50 for the extra locations, 1 x entertainment pack and 10GB extra data is so worth it. I think I will choose video as the entertainment pack data doesn’t come out of your 50GB allowance, and movies are most data heavy media in my opinion :)

@foneman2 yes I just came back to this thread to say thanks - got my cash back confirmed. Am writing this while roaming in the USA happily using 4g while my friends are struggling with Edge speeds on crappy Three!

AFAIK, so long as your Account number remains the same mobiles.co.uk don't mind.

Persistence paid off, although O2 said the only way to add this was to upgrade my tariff at no extra cost. I have now have 18gb + roaming! Thing is I'll never us the data and since they've switched my tariff I'm thinking I won't qualify for the cashback any more?! How strict are mobiles.co.uk at checking the details?

Three is 3G, 4G roaming in mainly sister networks I believe, or was. EE roaming is 5 countries, Canada, US, Mexico, AU & NZ, and now only on a 24m phone plan now. o2 has more inclusive roaming networks, and 30 odd £4.99 a day (excludes incoming calls/texts - no charge is made, outgoing activity to U.K. or same country or data makes the daily charge apply). https://3g.co.uk/reviews/feel-at-home-review

leoc

Isn't roaming on o2 only using 3G (with the exception of Germany), unlike with EE and Three that allow you to roam 4G?

mikepcon

Includes free netflix for 6 months now as well

Stretlow

Pity you can't get this on the 10 gig SIM only, that would be enough to make me switch I think

seaniboy

Sim swap after 6 months, new sim only and someone see the last 6 months out back home of the original ? Much cheapness. But for for a year AU payg is much better value, UK calls is cheap in most payg AU plans as it’s the head of the empire (mentality) and the time zone means most calls are off peak to U.K. ;)

All these company seem to decline the cashback. They hope most people don't appeal and therefore they never have to payout.

Great for when there are no free wi-fi hotspots available, or I'm on a bike ride and I use "live tracking" on my Lezyne bike computer app to let family know where I am in real-time. Sod's law, I bought a 12GB sim from Amazon last month, because I had not seen the 24GB version in stock for months!

Yes,it got reduced for xmas, myself buying one November. It seems a 'while stocks last' offer. I guess if it sells our at £40 then, no reduction.
