Can you get this as an Esim

igloolad

i was on this but after a year it reverts down to 500mb, better off going with talkmobile or lebara who are bpth on the vodafone carrier, appartently this is a uswitch deal not vodafone, basically they told me to go forth and multiply

drax32

Was told by online customer service I would get it but unfortunately didn’t work when activated new sim . Contacted them again as was told this is just a basic package and WiFi calling not available.

drax32

Do you get WiFi calling with this Uswitch deal ?

Not true.

Hello, many thanks for this. I placed an order for this deal 12gb unlimited minutes and texts for £8 Vodafone basics sim. At the end of the order summary page, Vodafone mentioned 1Gb unlimited minutes and texts. I am confused, if this 1GB per month for a total of 12 GB per year or what? I am hoping it will be 12gb per month and it must be a mistake in the order summary page.. can someone clarify if you placed a similar order

j41sal

not much use lol talk talk must have great customer service and you must be a business man working in different countries each week and or are you just sitting home and thinking you need roaming to access non-uk porn sites :)

Is that the Qualcomm X52 modem one? I mean it will do, my Mix 3 5G (MiFi) has a separate 4G & X50 5G modem which used as a dedicated (broadband) MiFi is preferable as if one modem goes you still have the other modem awaiting a (good deal) replacement. But if you want to use Three U.K. mental 5G 34-3800MHz continuous bands in the future go for a 5G mobile with Qualcomm X55 modem or higher.

To be fair, a large number of mid-rangers share the same quad camera setup these days. This is a pretty standard offering from Nokia. The Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite embarrasses it price wise though, albeit I expect it to drop.

Bought one of these and was absolutely not impressed. It's simply massive, too heavy and doesn't really offer anything exceptional. Found it to be lagging when browsing and when using several apps, not even the much praised camera couldn't save it, also when the screen was turned off you could hear a buzzing sound from the ear speaker and apparently a few people have reported this issue. Only with the screen off and when you place the phone close to your ear. Yeah, also their advertised android 11 ready is not ready yet, even though they said this will happen by the end of the year. Sent it back and got a pixel 4a 5g, difference is huge, in favour of the pixel obviously. And I don't just mean the price :D

That doesn't make any sense. Dog.

Believe me, it's true, time and again when I want to use data, the speeds are awful. I phoned 3 up because they were throttling my speed whilst roaming to 1mbps, easy to check because when roaming you can use different networks, and they were all topping out at 1mbps. Funnily enough when I complained, everything sped up!! I think they throttle a lot of Sims in UK, just my theory...

matty_keane

Have you any more information on this wildecat? I'm currently in the market for a data only sim for a 4G router - and would like to see the differences between Three and the piggback networks like Smarty and ID mobile with regards coverage or access to different bands.

waheedaamir1

Nice deal ... Heat added

TechnoDonkey

In my experience of travelling across the country with various network SIMs, both Three and O2 are pretty naff overall. Three are cheap for a reason (which is fine if you happen to live somewhere with decent coverage); O2 clearly just have millions of dinosaur ex-BT Cellnet customers who simply refuse to look into other options. This is the only reason I can think that they still have so many customers, because their data speeds and connectivity have been nigh on useless since the 3G days. Great if you want 2G though. EE are expensive but they are far and away the most reliable network for coverage for me.

This is crap compared to Talkmobiles same deal which has no speed restrictions and has roaming .Talkmobile is Vodafone

Maybe end the sentence by adding ‘...for me’ ? X

BogEye

How many times does it need repeating: this is a terrible deal

Menace5565

Not when you get the blackouts you won't.
