Wi-Fi, Super-Thin, 1500Pa Suction, Boundary Strips Included, Quiet, Self-Charging Robotic Vacuum Cleaner, Cleans Hard Floors to Medium-Pile Carpets

Was very sceptical buying one of these but after about 2 months of use can safely say it’s one of the best purchases I’ve made. We’re (very) clean and we thought that there wouldn’t be much dirt/dust for it to pick up but boy were we wrong. Somehow manages to capture an almost full tray of dust every single day. We’ve also noticed considerably less dust build up on our furniture (tv, desks, etc.) now. Oh and would recommend this model as the strips will come in use! Even if you may not think so right now.

bouttime2 Answered my own question. They now do a 15C MAX with greater suction.

What’s confusing is Amazon lists two versions of the 15C with 1300pa suction, the other with 2000pa suction. Is it an updated version? The 2000pa 15C appears to be better just without the boundary strips. Anyone know any more than that?

Lucky enough to get this for £179 on prime day. Very happy with the it needs little maintenance apart from emptying and its good starting it from the other side of the world. :)

Got this model and I love it. Couple of issues though, theres 1 part which has like a rubber piece attached, this has pretty much gone after tearing, quite flimsy but it hasn't really affected how it works. Another little issue is that it only connects to 2.4ghz wifi, whether this has been updated recently I don't know as I haven't checked, again it doesn't effect use as most people probably have dual band routers but I know some may switch to 5ghz only

Any update from those that have used theirs so far? Still happy? Just wondering if it’s worth paying (a fair bit) more for a model with mapping technology. Would appreciate the thoughts of those with experience. Many thanks in advance. This seems like a very good price.

I'm keeping it.

I also received the above email, I'm probably just going to keep it, the google home mini would have been a nice addition but the price was very good even without it!

I’ve just had exactly the same reply. Not certain what to do now. £189 is a good price for a well reviewed device, should I sent it back for a refund or keep it and accept the reasons for the mistake and move on.

Scrub that. Had a reply. Hi, Thank you for your message regarding the below. We apologise for the misunderstanding on the listing, we had removed the image and amended the title but overlooked the description which I can only apologise for. This was promptly changed on Saturday once we were alerted by a customer. Unfortunately we are not able to send a free mini due to the heavily discounted price for this product already. If you no longer wish to keep the product based on the above please open a return request and we will arrange for a free return label to be sent to you and a full refund once the product is back with us. Thanks, Charlotte

Around £198-200 with delivery included, pretty decent price!

Loving mine, got it new from Amazon UK for £228. Swap out for the high performance filters though as the one in the box is horrible to clean. The battery allows it to do 45m2 before returning to base. It could do more but it's programmed to find home when it gets to 27% battery left. I think you can buy the bigger batteries if you need it to do more on one go. It does all of my downstairs in that time though, 6 rooms worth. This doesn't allow multi floor though, you need the d5 and up for that, you can take it upstairs and hit the go button, it'll panic because it doesn't know where it is and will want to remap the floorplan. The no go lines are the game changer from random bounce around the room type vacs. I highly recommend these :D

Fair enough, no idea what they think they are doing!

I actually put that in the title, but apparently a mod removed it?

I only see a Warehouse deal for anywhere near that price.

Not sure if this helps, but bought this the other day Personally, I think its brilliant. Weve got 2 dogs and a cat, and it's made a massive difference. It really helps us keep on top of the mountains of hair that comes off them.

It's a review where they haven't actually tested it

“We haven’t tested this specific model”... unbelievable

That's wrong. You can order it online. Reported to mods to move to deals.

Amazon have this offer on a iRobot Roomba 671 Robot Vacuum Cleaner for £209.99. Prime exclusive offer.

Had it 1 week, working great. It takes longer than I expected to clean the area I need it to, over 1 hr, but we just put it on when going out and come back to a kitchen a dining room floor. Worth the money so far :-)

Thanks. Bagged one! With intention of releasing it to the Kitchen tiled floor.

Reviews say that it works best on hard floors. I’ve just ordered one. There are a few good reviews on YouTube.

Anyone had one of these? Any good for a large hard tile floor kitchen? Reviews and price seem ok.

Seems like a good price for a robotic vacuum that has mapping/DSLAM

Because this is what happens when you have a dog and a robot vacuum cleaner.... (shock) (poo)

Looking at ;) Neato’s Pet Edition images, which is a D4 with 2 Ultra Performance filters, Spiral Combo Brush for Pet Hair and Cleaning Tool.

What’s the picture of the dog for ?

Good price but, the trouble with Neato’s range is, you don’t get much extra for your money higher up the range. If I was buying one today I’d go for a Warehouse Deal D3, with 20% off at the moment it’s only £170.

Can you use these robots upstairs? How do they know not to throw themselves down the stairs?

I have the ozmo 930 from this brand and it’s great, good deals on amazon warehouse. This version is one of the random cleaners that bump around as opposed to those which guide themselves systematically around the rooms (which the ozmo 930 does)

Possibly not, but you’ve got to be vacuuming more than just the floor each day anyway so might not be worth it. However, as I said in my long rambling post above, when you run it everyday (or a couple of times a day of you want to) it stays on top of the hairs and so each pass over isn’t a huge collection than if you let it mount up over a day or two.

I can't see this coping with the hair from my dogs.

This is relatively cheap for this model. I was a tester before it came on the market and wasn’t expecting much from this as I’d heard very little good about robot vacuum cleaners. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount it sucked up (although I have a small house so don’t have to empty the bin until a couple of cleans, bigger houses might need to empty the bin more frequently. Although, if you run this everyday you end up not picking up too much dust and debris after a while so less changes are needed). This model maps your floor plan with a laser and creates an actual accurate map it then follows for more intelligent cleaning. Once mapped, you can also draw virtual lines on the map in the app did areas you don’t want the robot to go on certain days. You can also create zones (rooms) and only send the robot to clean the rooms you want. You can start it off in the app (at home or away) or have it run on a schedule (just remember you need to be a bit tidier so it doesn’t snag on items like cables and shoe laces). You can map more than one floor, but if you do this you either need to move the charging base to the floor you want it on, or buy a second charging base. You can however take it upstairs and just press the clean button without having any floor plan set and it will finds its way around and then return to the spot you started it. The thing I was most impressed with was how intelligent it was at knowing where it was and also getting itself out of a tricky area. It doesn’t just mindlessly bash in to things and then go off in the opposite direction, most of the time it sees the obstacles with its laser but if it doesn’t then it’s only a light tap and it goes around the item. This might seem like a lot of money, but it’s a lot of technology and a lot of time saved.

I dunno; a pair of googly-eye stickers and you have a perfect emotional support bug...

Okay I guess, but no substitute for a real pet.

Where is it for that price? I can only see it listed for £209? P :(

The 15C Max (I think) looks pretty good, comes with the app as well. Like to know what it is doing when away (lol)

I've one of these units, and it operates several times a day. Surprised just how much this continues to pick up dust, etc. It's not got huge suction power, but given the amount of times it goes over the same areas, it does a good enough job, as can be evidenced by how frequently you empty it. Together with saving my time doing the hovering, it pays for itself pretty quickly I'd say, which is the way I look at it. And yes, I got this model few months ago when it was circa £130, so maybe worth holding off or looking around.

The brushes on the front curved sections get to them. So as it turns in the corner the brushes are getting right into it. Similar to how a street cleaner works that you see on the roads.

We just got a roomba and the way it does it is using a little spinning brush!

The D5 comes up for £299.99 on occasion, although the side brush was essentially useless. Seemed to have all the power of a asthmatic ant!

Yep I'm taking a risk with it but seen a few reviews where the side cleaning has been acceptable. The d5 is so much more I thought it's worth a shot to see if it works for me. I've not seen a D3 this cheap before and I've been monitoring for a while now. I do wish people voting cold would show me where to get it cheaper (flirt)

I moved to a xiaomi robot cleaner 18 months ago after having a few neatos. The xiaomi has a side brush. Lack of side brush on the neatos meant I had to have a portable dyson to go around the edges. Now the dyson is hardly used. I wouldn’t buy a robot cleaner without a side brush

Given up, for now. I'd be interested in the new Roborock S6, but it's a little pricey for my budget at the moment. It may ultimately be the case that I'll never find a Robo vac satisfying, until it can do the same job on the floors that my upright Dyson can. To be fair, I was impressed with what the D5 could collect on each run, but there were always parts of rooms it just didn't clean, even though it was physically capable of doing so.

Sorry to hear that, my friend has a d5 and she loves it, been going for over a year now none stop everyday. I had a deebot n79s which is really well reviewed but had to return it because the cliff sensor was faulty. It constantly thought it was falling down the stairs (mad) . I'm hoping the d3 does better and also that not having the side brush isn't a problem. Reviews seen to say it's good :D Have your given up on robo vacs or moved onto another make?

Sorry to hear that P Smith. I was away when DX were planning to deliver this to me on Monday so I went to their website to rearrange delivery. This seemed to go fine until I later received a notification that my parcel had been delivered on Monday anyway - what's the point of offering a rebooking service if they don't take any notice of it? I thought the parcel was with a neighbour. I came home on Wednesday afternoon and the box was amongst my bins at the side of the house, easily seen and not in any way obscured or secured. Still, got to be thankful it wasn't left on the roof. (annoyed) (If you paid by Credit Card, you may have section 75 protection or may have the ability to request a chargeback.)

Having a hell of a job with these people, DX says its delivered, i was out all day, and no sign of it when i got home (i live alone in an old peoples bungalow) wish ide looked at their negative feed back before purchase :(

Cheers. Have some heat! Just bought one.

Got this from the last deal. My living room carpet has never been cleaner! I think it's partly down to the novelty - if I see a bit of fluff on the carpet I just press a button and it whirrs into action. I think it'd be more genuinely useful if I lived in a bungalow and I wasn't terrified of it hoovering up dog poo. But, regardless, it's had the desired effect. The suction is great - the only thing it struggles with is feathers, which tend to get stuck in the carpet. Although, to be fair, even the Shark struggles with those sometimes. I didn't realise it wasn't smart/WiFi-enabled, but to be honest, I'd probably find it easier to just program the IR commands into my Broadlink minis so I could tell Google Home to make it do things

Our old 11S Eufy didn't do it once... But like I said the magnetic divider strip seems to have done the job. (Old 11S is downstairs now and still going strong)

The one upstairs works 4 different rooms and does a pukka job. Always amazed how much it picked up on a floor that looked pretty clean anyway.

That doesn't sound good! My old Roomba I purchased in 2013 has never fallen down the stairs, surely not falling down the stairs should be a basic requirement ;( Was going to ask what the difference is between the Eufy 30 and the 30c, but not sure I want to risk having my robot kill itself rather than hoover up after me :D

How are theses for doing multiple rooms? I have like open plan into different rooms ill wait for amazon prime day or something

Mine did that a couple of times also... Left a whooping dent on the wall when it hit the bottom of the stairs.(Strangely didn't kill it... because its all hard wood stairs) We decided to put done one of the magnetic strips and it hasn't fell since. Interesting thing I didn't notice is the magnetic strips have a different colour on each side... so depending on if you have dark or light tiles/laminate it helps blend it in.

I took a chance on this and so far I’m very pleased with it. -Solid build quality. -Picks up a lot of dirt. -Quiet operation. -Works on both carpet and hard flooring. -Can handle short pile rugs without getting beached. -Stops itself at the edge of the stairs. -Returns to the base to charge. -Good floor coverage although it’s not one that maps the room. So far I’ve only seen it get stuck or struggle with radiator pipes, a fluffy rug (2 inch pile) and a pair of slippers. To avoid this I remove any traps from the floor and if not moveable I place obstacles in the way. I think that it’s very good for the price, I’ve not got any other robot vacuums to compare it to but there’s not many other options at this price. Also the manufacturer must be quite confident with it as a card in the box includes the promise of a refund after a year if you are not completed satisfied with it.

I have one of this robot, it's good overall but not good on carpets and it never went back to charger base i don't know why !!
