That is exactly my experience... I bought some on offer, 2 pairs for £15/20 or something... Looked fine, but one pair didn't last a week after I got home... Don't think I've worn the others since, too scared they'd disintegrate half way into town...

tony211166

last about 2 weeks if lucky

mattinhull

shoezone.'s shoes/boots are usually overpriced crap that look good.........

DingIs

Wouldn't be allowed on site, they slip on/off the same way Riggers do. And Shoezone stuff falls to bits in weeks

Are these comfortable to wear for a normal day use?

From my personal experience after having Panther model they are nightmare to get off which isn't what you want after a long 12 hour shift... Got some ankle high model form Magnum which are far easier to get off.

ktm666

I’ve had these boots and other Magnum ones and worn them all day while walking around. The ones I’ve had don’t need a lot of wearing in and are really comfy. Bite the bullet and get some. There is a reason military and law enforcement use these, and it’s exactly that - comfy and durable.

aaroncroft

What do you work as i need boots that are good for around 8 hours off walking on concrete

Not really,a pack of 10 isn't one pair either.

JarrodWRX

As I said, if it said pairs then that would be a different story.

Domthedonkey

It says 10 pack in the title on Screwfix and 10 pack in the specs.

Domthedonkey

Did anyone try their luck & get 10 pairs?

buckham_uk

Does anyone know if these offer metatarsal protection? can't see it specified anywhere so unsure

Some odd Sizes here? .. theres nothing between Sizes 7 - 12?, wth?! .. how 'well fitting' are these? (that if i go up a Size they'd still fit me pretty gooood without being toooo loose on me perhaps?) any sugguestions anyone? .. thanx.

amour3k

I'm pretty sure Armani or Pierre Cardin did NOT 'Design' these?, but ..... What difference does it make? .. these aren't about their sex appeal right?, its about their functionality?, so ..... Yep! lool.

adamgrice

I have a pair of these for going to watch footy and they've lasted a season and still look new. They were £17.95 new off eBay so dunno where the £80 price comes from. If I was using for industrial purposes, I'd value my feet more than £20 but for footy crowds and for people stepping on toes - ideal.

chaffordred

Bought these from Screwfix, they ended up in the wheelie bin within a week. They fell apart soon after I bought them and they have to be the most uncomfortable work boots I've ever worn. They are very heavy too. See all those little gimmicky silver triangle things? I think they're held on with Pritt Stick. As soon as they come into contact with anything they fall off. Never has the saying 'buy cheap, buy twice' been more apt. As others have said, invest in a proper pair of industrial boots that will last.

EastLondon

Dickies boots i had were crap and gave blisters. Scruffs boots are much better and can be found around the same price

bigdmonkey

I think I will go with these as the reviews are good and cheaper than screwfix by a tenner!!

bigdmonkey

yea agreed. I can understand good boots being important.

yozzman1234

work boots are very important as you have them on 12 hours a day . For £20 they will be awful ! timberland do really comfortable work boots , yes they do cost over £80 but last twice as long and keep your feet the correct shape !

CrazyBob

I was looking at safety boots in Asda the other day, they looked pretty good for £20 I'm no expert though :{

Are they good? (The only CAT boots I've had were very stiff and uncomfortable. (Staying neutral on the vote)).
