I’m honoured that you’ve taken the time to give me one of your great replies/questions, just like most of your other comments on deals. Really appreciated, in fact, I’d say it was well nice (y)

What does "Well nice" mean?

In date till 16/3/2019 Second Catch Battered salt & pepper Calamari in Heron for a squid 49 Never seen it before in there & it's a 400g pack
groovygraham

Had these in the larger B&M (Who now own Heron) in Barrow In Furness. I went in for some more Thai King Prawn fish cakes but had sold out :(

Blurigard

Young's seconds? When I was a student I worked in a fish factory over summer and all the nasty floppy and discoloured trout and salmon that couldn't be sold in fresh packs went to Young's.

GoNz0-

I have some of those still, not had them yet. might do a meal with the Calamari as well :{

veedubjai

Rejects but no big deal. Still taste great. (y)

jameshcomps

Great deal as the 2nd catch range is Youngs seconds normally . Have bought lots of different ones from Herons and all superb Some might be odd shaped or 2 pieces stuck together but the quality is still great .

I get as far as processing payment, to be met with a transaction declined pop up. No buying this for me obviously. It’s crazy they don’t just have a PayPal link as a payment method choice :|

Same here. I also received the code nonetheless. But when I apply to my account it says "code already redeemed".

As a person who has never taken care of horses, I wonder. Do horses lick salt blocks ? Or am I missing something ?

jamhops

I have wondered if this can be used for cooking like other salt blocks?

kaaaching

hahahah having a bit of banter, but really doe i stand by what i said. also this makes no sense, sounds like your parents kept the chrisp that actually have flavour and gave you the non flavoured chrisp (ready salted) ;)

2tigger2

Probably wasn’t allowed that flavour as a child (lol)

2tigger2

Ready salted is the only flavour to taste good in a sandwich

Reduced sodium table salt at a reduced price compared to some other well known supermarkets

gazdoubleu

They put potassium chloride in as well which has quite a salty taste but can also be toxic if you take more than 2000mg or thereabouts.

origrav92

Never understood this, if it's 50% less sodium chloride, surely it's going to be 50% less salty, and I would need 100% more?

Newbold

Yes - because they buy what they see as a 'brand', regardless of the fact that it's crap. And these are the very same people who look down on Aldi and Lidl as somehow inferior. :/

sola35

for any one who doesn't think these are dog food, these reduced salt/fat sausages scan as sausages £2.50, the normal richmond sausages 14 pack 634g also scan as sausages £2.50, even better the richmond 24 pack thick sausages 1087g are on offer was £3.50 now £2.50 and guess what, they scan as sausages £2.50, no brainer to buy these instead, my receipts have been uploaded and rewarded. tesco.com/groceries/en-GB/products/296128667

Cheap_as_Chimps

Eaten in moderation and as part of a blanced diet, these will be fine.

unclecuddles

No they’re not. Walls is a Unilever brand, licenced to Kerry Foods. edit - I stand corrected, Richmond is owned by Kerry.

Salty...

thomasleep

https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/pink-himalayan-salt#modal-close Of course you can take the contents of this site with a pinch of salt ;)

diktiomenos

I've heard those claims before, but unfortunately it's just unsubstantiated crap. There is no evidence showing it is better than regular sea salt (or even mineral salt). By the way, the cause for the pink colour is iron oxide (i.e.: rust).
