Yes. Luckily i had the original box. The envelope was big enough to fit the box.

Sanzai

I'm still waiting for my phone and the trade-in envelope. Was this big enough to fit the phone in its box then?

maruthu

It was very easy. They sent a insured prepaid envelope. My s10 was in a very good condition so the process was very smooth. Got a mail once received and another one when processed.

little_green

How easy was the trade in process do you have to pay for tracked/insured post yourself? Any issues with Samsung checking the device etc

This is the best deal I've seen on S20 FE 5G so far. Hotukdeals can be crazy at times.

ljshooter

This does seem a decent deal and I am not sure why its not got more heat. Unless someone can find a better deal on this device which I can't after a bit of searching

kobirulali

Exactly. I'm currently paying £18 a month for unlimited data SIM only with Three. The calculation for me works outs £15 a month (£33-£18) x 24 = £360 + £99 = £459 "extra" for the phone which considering it's £699 it's "worth" it for me. However I am not sure about moving to O2, their data speeds is generally bad around here.

That isn't how it works. You have to press the -

Agreed, the screen protector really bugged me when I used the gesture controls without a case as i kept scraping my finger against the sharp edge of the protector but with a case I didn't have any such issues. If you don't like using cases then I can understand the frustration.

Corkscrew

Thats likely to be true, as I read years ago that there is a tradeoff between scratch and shatter resistance. I suppose I can live with micro scratches, but deffo not a shattered/cracked screen. I used to put glass protectors on my phones but, I haven't for the last few years, mainly due to the curved screens. With the gesture controls becoming the norm, you're often swiping from the sides and you'll often swipe between the edge of the protector and phone, which would slightly annoy me

MRA4355

I've heard gorilla glass 3 is actually more scratch resistant than gorilla glass 5. I think the latter is more shatter resistant. S20 FE comes with a screen protector fitted out of the box.

In the 1 week I had the s20 FE I was using it to play Forza horizon on Xbox ultimate pass. It played an Xbox game streaming from the cloud perfectly fine. When using it was fine and snappy, although face unlock does not work in low light conditions very well (my OP6T does it in any condition albeit I can use a picture of my face to unlock my phone) and fingerprint press takes a bit longer before unlocking but not sure if that is related to RAM or just the software for those particular components!

kwl147

Get the 5G version of this phone otherwise don’t bother. Exynos is inferior in every way and it is not acceptable to charge us full price for second rate components Samsung.

darkwarrior2014

Oh what code do you use? Sorry if I missed somewhere earlier.

Karthik_GR

Not employee discount, this 10% discount will work with trade in discount.

darkwarrior2014

Hey, did you buy this via samsung employee programme for the 10% discount? I can't seem to add trade-in once via the employee link.

...scott_...murray

Any 20% codes for new customers? I already get the 10% discount from work.

I think the Sony Xperia 1 II is an excellent phone and I had it and have used it for a fair amount, I would like to say that it's true Samsung does over saturate it's colours whole the Xperia can look full but note natural but I gotta say the Samsung S20+ is, so far been excellent in a lot of scenarios I have put it through. For example Some of these pics I took with the Samsung S20+ which I really like and appreciate the colours look more vibrant but it's in a good way. This is a close up shot and, till now didn't know the £50 notes had this security feature Although the colours are a bit saturated in this pic, it works, because for me the details are all there, although the Sony yeilds more natural colours, it can lose details at times. This night shot was awesome, it was full dark and with the Xperia it can be hard to capture a pic with flood lights, if you look at where the sign is, you can clearly see the signs above the the entrance when you zoom in and the walls all have details. Again, I have tried getting this kind of result with the Xperia 1 II and it's hard, the Samsung archives this with less difficulty. Again I'm very not picky with cameras and although the Xperia 1 II is excellent I feel Samsung is the better choice for me as it does what I want and need it to do and maybe better. Again just overall it seems better and believe me when I say this, when o got this device I wanted to hate it and justify the Xperia 1 II being better, it ain't perfect but no phone is but I feel this is for me and I like for it's cameras, all the other things are bonus for me. I think both are excellent. Sorry pics have been compressed when uploading on UKHD.

I just updated... Next phone will be stock android either pixel 5 / 4a or Moto G5 g

realdeals

I had the Note 8 and there is no sour taste in my mouth after 20 month of hassle free ownership and a nice turn around when I sold it. The Pixel 2 was a rank bad phone one I would not even have been running upto Android 10 nevermind talking about one update to 11 and out. Google didn't decide to do this off their own back , It was other oems going there that made them provided the extra year they said they has no intentions of providing for the Pixel 1. The Note 8 just had a security update, which phone do you thing will be abandoned first?

xenept

Bloatware? Are you talking about Bixby which excels at phone control much better than Google Assistant or is this rant about something else? Samsung blows stock android out of the water. Facebook can be disabled. Many of the features arriving on stock have been on Samsung for ages so I'm intrigued about what exactly you are pointing at?

little_green

Yeah I personally prefer this one but I suppose a lot of people perhaps those that know less a out smartphones would probably opt for the "actual" flagship at a similar price point

Thanks, ordered this one - it came in to stock briefly for delivery on 21st Oct. Phone is a birthday gift for the wife, and will arrive in time.

Spigen Ultra Hybrid, I have it and love it, had the same one for my s10e as well Out of stock on Amazon at the moment though

Termy5678

Bought this one and arrived next day. It's currently out of stock but its quite good in terms of protection and is easy to put on and off. Clear case

saintscouple

Can anyone recommend a clear case for this phone?

SirQontax

Is anyone that received the phone able to share a few camera samples in different scenarios/low light? I've ordered a Pixel 5 but have been considering this phone as it's a beast. The only thing that put me off was a potentially worse camera. Thank you (y)
