The Samsung Galaxy S7 edge is a swanky alternative to the iPhone 6S Plus. It might not be an Apple iOS device, but it makes up for it by flaunting an eye-catching 5.5 inch curved display screen, formidable hardware, water resistance, and faultless 12 MP rear camera for stunning shots and recording 4K video. All deals for the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge are collected and displayed on a dedicated page at HotUKDeals. Read more

Thanks Tan and enjoy using it!

Yes it was pristine and I will let you know

Thanks Tan! It does look great. Was it the pristine quality version that you ordered? If you get chance can you post your experiences of battery life with your new shiny "toy" when you have used it for a few days or more? Thanks again!

I received the phone today and I know its refurbished but it looks like it's a new phone

I'll be getting it tomorrow so I'll post some pictures

I agree with this, I think the design is better than the s8/s9 and feels nicer in the hand but no denying this price is abysmal

This is not a good price, but just to say I got a used S7 Edge recently and it still holds its own among new mid-range phones. Updated to Oreo and battery manages to last a day. Beautifully designed phone.

Got a new one from eBay for £185 after recent 20% U.S code offer. So this is cold.

Someone saw that as a challenge I think.

I feel rather cold

Problem is that I have multiple contactless cards in my wallet so I can't just tap my wallet to pay - I have to open it and take the card out. Much easier for me to just take out my phone, scan my fingerprint, and tap. It's not just that though, I really like being able to instantly see how much I've paid through a push notification on the app, not many banks offer this through their own applications (I think Monzo does) and mine (Nationwide) shows all pending purchases as a Visa debit transaction - so informative!

Yep! Or purse, Nfc, pfft.

Haha way I see it if I have to get my phone out, I can easily get my wallet out just the same

Overrated, just blu tac your debit card to the back of your phone, and hey presto! Nfc

I can live without NFC and a great camera. As long as I've got WhatsApp I'm all good lol

Newsflash... the ratio of other mobiles with cracked and chipped screens and the Edge models is not proportionate.

It 'looks nice' is about all they have with the curves. HTC 10 is the same generation as the S7 Edge, both Snapdragon 820 phones. I wouldn't consider it on a par but that's just my opinion, the S7 Edge camera is pretty amazing even today. If I was only looking at SD820 phones anyway, I'd hand it to the Sony XZ which is probably cheaper than both.

yeah well more money for them when u break your phone. We do glass front and back, curve the edges thenrub our hands together from greed. personally got a htc 10 flat screen and metal back. 1 generation newer than s7edge £120 in cex Grade A

Well I ordered this car charger a few days ago and it was faulty, i talked to the customer service and they just despatched a replacement without having to send back the faulty one. I guess it's just the people you talk to

Can anyone help and tell me if this supports Huawei supercharging? This is what little I know of teh technical details for it: Huawei P10 and P10 Plus battery optimisation: SuperChargeIt's not called SuperCharge for nothing. This low voltage (4.5V), high current (5A) fast-charging system will deliver a huge kick of battery life that will last for a casual day's worth of use after just 20 minutes at the plug.

I have both, which I use with a Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 phone. QC3 is slightly better if your phone supports it. iSmart is amazing with all phones though. You need a high quality cable either way. I use the phone for SatNav a lot, with the screen on high brightness. Both QC3 and iSmart will charge the battery + 5 to 10% every 10 minutes or so.

Your devices take the power they require, make not difference to your sat have battery

Wifi calling and VoLTE works on my sim free S7 with EE, the latter switched on a couple of months ago.

On my edge, all my long text messages go to MMS, where as this never happened with my S5. Its really frustrating as i have to split my replies into segments if its of any size! (as i get charged for MMS messages) Does anyone else have this problem ?? Another thing that i find annoying, is that it doesnt show the whole text message & you have to click "view all", as photo below Has anybody got any tips around these things please ? Thanks

Got mine just now, few scuffs at the edges, didn't use a case, otherwise looks great. 520 battery counter. can't complain. Works perfect otherwise.

Received mine today, battery Cycle counter shows 607 times. I think it's a bit to. much, I'll send it back. The app Charge Cycle Counter works really well with s7 edge and other few Samsung phones.

Yes but it’s all one single piece bonded together hence the price - you cannot separate them. LCDs are generally bonded to the glass as well these days which makes them more than before but before that you could buy just the LCD for £10-20. It’s just different technology. If I broke my Samsung, I would almost definitely have bought a second hand phone and not bothered getting it fixed. Price fluctuations across stores aren’t unheard of, you get it with many things - public transport, car MOTs, petrol, etc. Not saying it’s right, just a captive audience.

sorry, it was just the glass, there was nothing wrong with the amoled screen, £150 for glass from a samsung shop on a phone that came out the start of 2016 is ridiculous. not only that but to have different prices in different stores is stupid, its just not good business , customers dont like that, and the fact that there was no ceiling price for those other stores that the other maximum price didnt effect is crazy, remember you can buy these phones second hand for under £200 ,, what are samsung thinking XD, im done with them.

I believe you but honestly those AMOLED displays are expensive and usually £200-250 if you try and get it yourself, they are bonded to the mid-frame and you can’t just buy another screen as a result like you can with an LCD. So even at £129.99 it’s not bad. If you like the phone otherwise and have a habit of smashing them I’d just take out an insurance policy to be fair.

ive had the samsung galaxys since the start the last year iv'e smashed the s7 twice, yep, real store, scandalous service, its like you've walked into another world when going in, i was told the maximum that a screen should be repaired for is £129.99 but only in certain stores , the one i went was a samsung support center and they weren't governed by the £129.99, when pressed about this they just wouldnt give me a figure as to what was deemed acceptable for a repair in one of there other store,, seems a very strange way for a big company to do business , like i said , i wont be buying another samsung phone again.

I'm the same, never will I buy a Samsung product again.

Totally lasts about 4 hours now if I'm lucky. Wouldn't buy a used one.

If it's anything like my S7 Edge, the battery on this will be garbage.

Yeah, I know. I was being generous. I always understood refurbished to mean a new case, screen, battery etc (if required), to make it indistinguishable from new, which is why I can't understand different grades of refurb.

Fully tested doesn't mean refurbished either, just to have someone check the phone functions.

In their language you mean? Refurbished means fully tested at the very least. If it's just reset to factory, that's what it should say. A factory reset isn't refurbished.

Each to their own I charge my phone at work and therefore the quicker the better :)

Probably ideal for overnight bedside charging. Mine fast charges and then sits there at 100% for 5+ hours which can't be good for the battery. I'd rather it trickle charges for 5 hours and was just ready in time to get up in the morning.

Glad it's compatible with the S8 Plus and S8+

Good price, and based on the xz premium (good) I just recieved, this will be in excellent condition. £201 for an s7 edge in black ain't a bad price.

Got this handset yesterday- the screen and back was mint condition, there were some marks on the corners- but I am happy with the devise as I am going to use it with a case anyway. Mainly getting this to replace my Huawei P8 lite which was really good but camera was average. Nice fast stunning screen handset. Just looking around to unlock. Might call ee as the cost £8.99. any good cheap cases around which hukd members can recommend?

Good phone, and a good price - voted hot. I just purchased the Honor 9 for the same price - whilst the screen is lacking in comparison it wins everywhere else compared to this phone. Personally I would always get the newest phone for the money, tech moves so fast with the S9 now announced this phone will be old hat pretty quickly

Hey I'm exactly the same here, mine came in a completely brand new looking condition but can I ask you to check the colour and saturation quality of your s7 edge screen? The colours on my screen don't look as vibrant, pristine and saturated enough for such a new looking super amoled screen phone. 2nd s7 edge of mine it's happened to, whenever I compared with other people's s7 edge's my screen just can't compete at all in terms of immersiveness of the colours of the amoled screen. The colours appears a bit washed out. Might return over this which is a shame because the rest of the phone is spick and span so do let me know please

Yup - the display on mine broke behnd the glass without being dropped within 6 weeks of buying it. Told that they won't cover it under warranty and that it's entirely foreseeable that the displays of Edge models can break without any evidence of external damage or impact. The Samsung repair service is also dishonest. Their own website states the Maximum Retail Price for screen replacements (Samsung requirement that AMOLED display, glass and battery are all replaced) on an S7 Edge is £199. They collect your damaged phones via UPS and send them to 3rd parties they contract with, who demand higher prices than Samsung's own MRP. Samsung website says £199 max price; their Wandsworth partner wants £240 and Croydon £220, and Samsung support say they are "just there for technical support and can't comment on pricing." You can only get the repair at Samsung's own MRP if you get the repair done by one of their Samsung Experience centres, but they're not sending customer returns there.

Mines going back today. Reboots every 10 minutes. Doesn't say much for their quality control

Sold out.

I got the s7 and still as good this year,I don't feel like an upgrade, after all when you pay 500 for a phone, you expect it too last a few years

Cheers for the reply, the code is *#06# what I meant was do they have proof of purchase with the imei number on it because many insurers ask for that (not just the number written down)

I have a Samsung s7 edge, I know there's a code that you can type into the phone to bring up the imei number, best place to take it would be carphone warehouse.

Do these refurbished phones come with a receipt with the imei number on them? Only asking because I've had issues insuring phones that I've bought from argos stores before due to no imei on the receipts.
