You're absolutely right, I measured them both with my Harman target bass measuring device and I've changed by mind, the buds+ sound miles better 😏

Mr_Anderson

Damn. Price changed between basket and purchase. Oh well, £75 saved!

IkkyPatel

I am glad I bought it earlier for 74.95

Galveo

Back up to £94.99 as of this morning.

Hey, thanks for the response. Keyboard is fine and no complains of booming keystrokes on my Jabra Evolve 75s. Reading through the forums, it appears the Bose amplifies the keystrokes (probably not deliberately) but the Jabra actively minimises it. Probably cos the Jabra is a set of office focused cans. But I was looking for another set of in-ears ones for general listening with the option of using it when I sometimes accidently leave my Jabras at home.

And the smart ones are seeking fakes at full price. :( (mad)

kobrakaan1

they have their own medical centre and have their own military and heavy industrial building division so making kidneys is a possibility they probably make dialysis machines anyway (y)

Yes true, there is still a way to go. It is confusing that these are listed as noise cancelling style yet the fit is open isn't it? I think a lot of the budget cells only tend to last a few months after heavy usage, I see them more as a disposable in a way. With a quality wired version providing they don't get snagged and rip out they can last a lot longer. But having no wires gives you a freedom and less stressful. I hate moving with a wired set up.

regancipher

The only qcy ones I've tested are the t10 - they were ok for the price but not great without heavy EQ'ing. You're right - the fit is tough to call especially with semi-in-ear. My favourite budget of that style are the Soundpeats Trueair2, FIIL CC2 and 1More Comfobuds. Taotronics Soundliberty 80 are OK, just a shame about the colour scheme. Just recently we've seen AIROHA, BES, Qualcomm and Pixart reveal their new chips - almost all are BT 5.2, much lower power, ANC capable and some even have software-based accelerometers. Think we will see some big improvements in that market in due course (hence a lot of the vendors selling off old stock at silly prices)

Wildcard

Did you get on with QCY earbuds, I haven't tried a 100, just about four pairs. The xiaomi airdots were a decent fit but the audio was average at best. The haylou gt were OK, not as good a fit and the qcy y5, good sound but very poor fit. Hard to guess on the fit isn't it? Most recently the qcy ts1c for great and sound decent too I would say for a sub £20 offering. The last non silicone offering I tried was the xiaomi true wireless 2 and they were terrible. As they were like long fake cigarette sticks with almost zero bass due to the fit. Yes if they have the non seal silicon I bet they are more pleasant to move around in.

Don't get confused with the buds. You do get them, but not the Live or the Pro model. These earbuds are £75 at Amazon today, that deal is popular, so I'm assuming the price is good, but I don't know how these perform against the Live model.

HellriderUKDeals69

Corrected my comment.

sheffield788

I don't give advise, it is on their site the offer ends on 11th, also somebody posted a picture on the order in the basket and the buds are there. And this is my basket, nothing to check with Samsung support, the buds are there and free. BTW, I never mentioned you get the 'Live' or 'Pro' model, neither the OP, the info in title and description seems pretty accurate to me, I think you are confused with the model.

HellriderUKDeals69

Lol Check with Samsung support first and don't give incorrect advice

sheffield788

I think your comment should be deleted, as it seems some people think the buds offer has finished, which in fact you still get the free buds.

Yeah just check how much you'll get for yours on this site Samsung Trade In Offer | Samsung Trade In Promotion (UK), says I should get £250 for my S9, that's after the price match takes 15% off... just request a price match here John Lewis & Partners | Never Knowingly Undersold. Am not sure what I'm doing at the moment, the Samsung trade in is done by a company called MTR Group on behalf of Samsung, they send you a returns bag to send the phone back but it's only Royal Mail tracked 48, which is only insured to a value of £100!!! They do say that sending it back is your responsibility, so you would have to send it something like Special Delivery at your own cost insured at the correct value of the phone. Am not sure if I want the hassle to be honest,so am going to research and see if people have had any issues returning in the past. When a lot of people mention having to take pictures of the handset to prove what condition they sent it in it doesn't fill me with confidence!!!

mikkyx

I so hope they get back to me. Just submitted a price match but fear it is too late as the offer ends tonight. ;( If I can trade in my S9 which is in perfect condition for £250.00 it actually almost makes financial sense.

Gamebear88

Good stuff. That's what I like about JL, extends the 2x day offer to an entire month (y)

mikkyx

So they are giving you £250 for your S9? They are willing to price match the Samsung price including the 15% 256GB offer? I will do this right now if that is the case... Do you have the contact details to price match them? Thank you Bender haha

paulbuk

Just a quick question... maybe you can answer... is the S21's factory fitted screen protector good enough or would you recommend replacing it?

These are great. Sound very good. Really comfortable and convenient. Different to most other ear-canal type, and worth it just for that.

Reuben_Skelly

The majority of people that say they have bad sound don't wear them correctly. I went from the buds plus and the lives have better sound...much improved bass. Lives are good if you want good sound, comfort and not having to lodge earphones a mile up your ear canal. You will be dissipounted with the lives if you buy then for the ANC

T1Cybernetic

Lot's of people claiming they are bad sounding is not very comforting :( Have any of you compared them to the buds + I'm a little curious as I was just about to buy some buds live to replace my old buds + that I recently sent back because of a fault.

Sinan_Goekceoglu

Don't buy it. Galaxy buds was awful too.

Bullhog66

Bought mine from Samsung, rubbish!!! Poor sound quality, fall out when you lean forward and every time you push them back in (constantly feel like they are about to drop out) music goes off as they are touch sensitive.
