I'm afraid I don't know, but we always cover ours up with a tarp or lid anyway That's a shame, I always tend to C+C from most stores for this reason, think most play sands are very fine, we always add a little water if they want to mould something, soon dries out again. They are 5kg bags, normal play sand tends to come in 10kg / 15kg bags, so are smaller, very hard to find coloured play sand in larger bags & then of course to get the range of colours, you could end up with more than you need. :D
I ordered this with same offer during the summer. The bags all arrived damaged and missing most of the sand. They sent replacements which were also damaged and when I did finally get some sand the bags were tiny and took loads to even cover the bottom of the sandpit. It’s alzo so fine that it didn’t stay in shape when put into moulds or buckets
Do you know if it contains anything to stop flies laying eggs in it?
