I made one of these during lockdown 1 out of a couple of pallets and a plastic IKEA tray. Cost a couple of quid. Not a huge amount of work to do and saves you loads. Not everyone has the time and tools to do this though. This does look better and the addition of a tap is a nice feature. Still think that are expensive for what they are however compared to what price I have seen others is looks to be a better deal. Voted hot on the basis of if you can't make one this seems a good option.
What a terrible idea
The TP toys one has a container and reuses the water so it doesn't need to be refilled all the time. It uses a child friendly hand pump mechanism to operate.
Sand Pit AKA Cat Toilet We had one of these, made of the same material that them little Orange boxes are made from. It'll last 3 weeks max before rotting. Did I mention that cats like to crap in them.
Next doors cat will love this new litter tray
That roof is held on with two screw tight bolts, hence it being nicely adjustable.. Unless there is a means for locking it, the force of the wind blowing could potentially spin that thing round and whap a kid in the noggin. I quite like the idea of it though, but my garden doesn't have a lot of flat bits.
What you mean?
Does the sand come with it...?

Noticed it at this price on the way into a couple of different Tesco over the last few days - along with a lot of pink and blue plastic kids chairs that have been getting progressively cheaper over the last few weeks - now £2. Seems a good chance that if your local has it, it will be 72p. Obviously, not comparable in price, but a purpose made block sand that inhibits weed growth (Dansand for example) might be a better investment if you have had any issues with weeds or grass taking root in the past?
Can this stuff be used for block paving after jet wash?
Thank you :)
Anyone else considering this...

Having built a similar sized sand-pit last year this is probably good value given it's made from pressure treated timber therefore voted hot. The seats that fold into a lid are a nice feature too (and would keep cats out) although it looks like there are gaps that would let rain in.
