Excellent reviews.
Bought this for £6. For the price it's decent.
The trays are not detachable so washing is a pain and also only small sized bread fits fine. Medium bread cut off sides.

P.S - no time machine.

The good thing (OK, one of the good things) about waffles, is that you can make a double batch, freeze them and then put them in the toaster when you want one. Put the maple syrup on afterwards though.

I bought one a few weeks back at Dyas for £30 (😑) and it’s the scalloped sandwich plates.
It’s nice only having to store plates in a drawer rather than having two or three separate units. I’ve made waffles and sandwiches, it’s a good bit of kit cleaning’s nice and easy unless you overfill the sandwich.

For £22 it’s a steal.
Was tempted but nowhere near to collect £3.99 P&P so got one from fleabay with free post, Vonchef 700w with same interchangeable plates for £19.99 - do me

Being a "bigot" is being intolerant of persons with other views. Referring to someone who (potentially) may have different views to your own as being of "typical low IQ" and a "sheltered bigot" suggests you ought to be taking a look in the mirror for the bigot. But then, that's the problem with persons such as yourself. So self righteous you can't see your own faults.

Seeing that this sort of thing is so adaptable - I'd look for a stove based on other requirements.
For occasional use, these are good but the gas is expensive...
decathlon.co.uk/por…BwE

Or, if you want a bit cheaper gas (very cheap if you can find somewhere that will refill it for you rather than replace - but be VERY careful it's done right if so) - a burner that sits on a Campingaz 907 or similar cylinder - burner cost me £15 and I got a full cylinder second hand from someone that'd got it with something else and already had one for £30 - full cylinder lasts ages even with the decently hot 3kw burner - hotter than a lot of home stoves.

It toasts sandwiches and paninis equally well, although I have tried few variations of the fillings.

Depends what type of stove you want. The type I use for fishing are this type Fox stove but any type like that are great as they fold down to around the size of a wallet. Then a gas can (can't remember the type it takes but they are around (£5 each) and they last a good few uses. It all depends how much you want to spend. Folding stoves start from around £15 and go up to £100+. I've been using the fox one for a couple of years for kettle and cooking and it's never let me down.

Went to use this and the girl behind counter looked and spoke to me like I was dumb. It was like she wasn't happy I was getting the deal for that price. Why does subway issue these voucher deals if the workers have no clue about them like you have just made them up on a computer yourself.....
I've had a few issues redeeming the free sub with a drink. It doesn't show on the system, and many employees are reluctant to honor the deal. It took 2 failed attempts before the third accepted the deal, wasting 2 subs in the process (seems wasteful to me). Thankfully there are 3 stores within close proximity where I am in Loughborough
