Still rhe best game I've ever played and am still playing years later. Just in my opinion. Great price OP.
All The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Discounts, Offers and Sale - July 2019
Nope, it's expired now or OOS .. :(
Is there a code to bring the price down? Showing as £14.99 for me.
Personally, I'd rather play a remastered version of Fallout 3/New Vegas double pack.
i really should get this
This is an epic psvr title, well worth this price. Even if it’s Bethesda..
one day i'll need to get this but not today too many games
Uninteresting story ahead - I bought the PS3 version back in November 2013, it was the legendary edition for £15.00... and it sat on my shelf collecting dust for about four years. When I got my OLED in 2017 I also bought the PS4 version for a tenner from Smyths, finally decided to play it and I ended up ploughing over a hundred hours into it, getting the platinum. Apparently I was lucky not to play it on PS3 due to bugs and horrendous loading times. Last year when I got my VR headset the Skyrim VR version came with it... it's still sitting on my shelf with the PS3 version. I haven't got the heart to do that over again. :(
After picking up F4VR for the PC for £8 on a whim i know what this as well on PC, really enjoying F4VR.....but i am no totally sold on these being in VR, they are just amazing in VR.
The graphics are so so, but it's hard to expect a lot from a game of this scale on a console. It's still an amazing experience in VR. Controls are a little weird to get used to if you're using the Move controllers, particularly if you intend to play at any level more than just wandering about in awe. A controller is much easier to work with if you intend to play seriously, but you lose the magic. A must-buy if you have the PSVR already, but in retrospect I'd have preferred to get it on a PC VR system, because mods <3
I've just finished it. It is outdated but it's still a fantastic game and looks stunning when modded and set to the highest graphical settings on PC. Can't wait for the next game, it's been a while.
Valid points (y) I have not played Skyrim, but am planning to. Let's just hope Skyrim 6 will not be a flop and full of bugs (lol)
Sure, mostly due to nostalgia though. Not many games from decade ago could be released today and get the same review scores. In this particular case, the graphics have been updated but the animation and combat is extremely dated today. I would expect a big improvement in those two areas in new ES.
This is a Special Edition with updated graphics. I don't know what you mean about it being updated? Last time I cheeked old games can be good 10 years on (confused)
Very outdated game now but decent price. Nothing special.
If you have Xbox better to buy them for that as I heard it has better mods there
Lowest its been is 15 quid just after Christmas, deals
1000 hours of your life gone right there.
You saved over 71p a month!
It was £24.99 7 months ago, good thing I held off from buying it
Their massive apparently and work all over the world head office is Denmark, but 100% avoid
Pretty standard with little companies in my experience. If you want good after-sale customer care, go with Amazon who will refund you before you even explain what happened. But hey, you get what you pay for.
Avoid using these people!!!! Absolute bunch of scammers and customer service is appalling check reviews everywhere!! I order an Xbox one S and it came delivered to me in a skimpy box and was broken into, company just said can’t send a new one out and would compensate took me 3 months to get money back
HOT!! Does anyone know if the PS4 version is playable in VR?
Can't believe this game isn't a standard tenner in 2019.
Works great on the amazing gpd win 2 with all the great windows pc mods
You dirty git
Yea I've got skyrim on every platform and the only one I've ever sat down and played it on for any length of time was the Switch. The ease of picking it up and playing without taking up the TV means I get more time on the game.
I got this on both Switch and PS4, love this game.
Got in for switch on the estore sale and it’s a great way to play, handheld mode looks great
Yeah. Get the special edition. As well as looking better, it’s 64-bit so it crashes a lot less and it’s the version that gets all the mods these days (and you HAVE to mod it on PC or you are really missing out).
Why play this when you can get the 'Special Edition' which has the updated graphics
8 year old game the same price as fallout 76. Still a much better deal :D
So far, I've Played Skyrim and the dlc, finish all of it in terms of main story and some. 100% achievements. Just one character was over 1000+ hours played. Then i got it for the pc, same deal and the mods kept me playing again. Then Special Edition come to Xbox One, 100% achievements. Played on pc when they gave the free update for owning the OG Skyrim. So, the question is.... did i then purchase this, again, just to play it portable? You're damn right i did. Heat🔥
Seriously cant resist this and I played it on xbox 360, pc and then ps vr
i have about 8/9k hours gaming in total probably more with hand helds. I'm only just on my first job so 80% of my free time used to be gaming. I cycle a lot, read and go out with friends more often now though, people complain at gamers but adults don't even emerse themselves properly especially when they watch "the soaps".
Same, or anywhere I can pick up physical cheaper?
Anyone know any decent offers on eshop credit?
Still worth it for flying a a dragon
Is there anybody in the world who still needs this game? (lol) I've got over 2000 hours on this on my PC.
Pretty outdated game now. Just play witcher/kingdom come/wait for elder 6.
cheers OP !
The only reason to own Skyrim in 2019 is to mod the hell out of it until it breaks, and you can't do it on consoles.
Anyone know if this deal is still live?
It's jarring. It gave me headaches!
The camera turning in increments is to help prevent motion sickness. Usually most vr games have the option to change the option. Personally I prefer the incremental camera.
Skyrim VR runs sweetly on my PS4 slim and is very immersive. I would definitely recommend at this price. Heat.
I completely disagree with the above comment. I was never really a fan of pancake Skyrim but it's amazing in VR - even on a bog standard PS4. I think I've sunk over 70 hours into it so far. For £15 it's a steal!
Mine arrived yesterday. All good. Thanks for the heads up.
Ooo a bit of a bargain there idontfly!
Good price but terrible company
Got one of them, cheers OP
Dang, great find!
Damnit missed this great price mind
I can confirm that this is in store also, having just seen it myself. Fallout 4 GOTY is also £14.99
Fantasy Vs Sci-fi perhaps
Yes you will!
Loved The Witcher 3 but due to life commitments etc it literally took me 3 years to complete as i often went back to other games. It was very good though. Never touched an elder scrolls game. Will i be hooked?
Best game I've ever played. Never ending. Best £14.99 you will spend.
Dang, have some heat for that!
Just throwing this out there: special edition is a lot more stable if you're looking to do some heavy modding. Enb for SE is pretty good now too, and most of the good oldrim mods have been moved over. Sure, there's still no parallax and there's a few other things missing but the extra stability is well worth it imo. If you're just playing vanilla, are on a low end system or only plan on lightly modding it then by all means, go for this. It is cheaper after all (y)
got Skyrim for £10 last night used it to get money off Splatoon at CEX nice one OP
Got one cheers op
Probably, The rest ended up on my eBay page (ninja) Jeez. The amount of bitter lemons that turn up when they cant get a deal (lol)
I know your pain.
Sometimes have to scan them to get the hidden 'bargain' price.
Don't get me wrong I absolutely loved the game back when it launched but its been rereleased and repackaged so much and I've fallen for it every time (my own fault, I know!) so instead of looking back fondly I just think 'ugh, why this again'. Not going to lie I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I saw it for around £20 on Switch.
In that sense it's a valid comparison. It all depends on what factors you want to consider when valuing it. Oblivion is great - I wish that was released on the Switch!
Why all the cold votes? Anyone in here thinks that Bethesda employees go through HUKD and think "oh they voted cold, next time we gonna sell our game for £20". I didn't set the pricing, it's cheapest brand new copy of Skyrim for Switch. Next up is used cex for £42. Eshop is £49.99.
They had them near where i worked but i wasn't really interested as i completed it when it was on the x360, however i did manage to get a copy of pokken
