Great response, thanks heardy21. Much appreciated. Think I'll take the plunge and give the extension a try, thanks.

sharonpaton2

Good points.

heardy21

Yes Dave, I’ve got 6 plugs and one extension and they work a dream. Pros are they are a decent build quality for the price, and do exactly what I need. The app you can set routines and scenes. The only con which is small is that the plugs are a little bulkier, but no more than others. I have the mss210 and the adapter is mss425e. The sockets are placed at a decent distance so fairly hefty plugs can be used. The usbs are powered as a single group so it’s all on or off, which tbf doesn’t cause me any issues, as I only have iphone charger plugged in. I believe they’re 10amps per socket. Like u said, hard to gauge how long they’ll be going for, but if I get a few years then I’m happy. Plus if you buy a plug they will probably send u a 30% discount on your next product for writing and honest review on amazon, so bringing the extension price down to £16. I’d recommend them all day long and find the superior to same of the big brands.

joffw

Yes. I use one on the TV and HiFi to switch off before bedtime. It’s amazing how much power they can use on standby!

Cheers. I did open the credit account - didn't want to but it was easier than moving off the sofa to get my wallet!! I've left the beam in my basket and will hope for a 20% code. Will definitely bite then.

chrisredmayne

I think you need to open a credit account to get the codes, not for everyone but works well for me, can pay stuff off straight away of you want and it's 0% interest over 12 months. They send me codes all the time though, makes it the cheapest shop by far i think but others hate it because their returns policy is poor, if you open the item it's hard to return and if somethings broke they refer you to the product company which is why they are so lowly rated, thankfully I've had no issues

japes

(y) (highfive) There isn't a jealous emoji but I'm certainly green now Edit; oh and slightly annoyed I had to sign up to Very just to check the code!!!

Ah that sucks, I went crazy with it! Ordered to play ones and the beam! My house will finally be fully connected in every room!!

It should be able to go through the window and close fine. Depending on the way your pvc window is fitted, they may be some pvc stripes fitted to finish off edging around the window. I would try to use these as routes in. Personal I wouldn't drill holes to big through the actually window. With the junction box I would roll up the lead to the camrea inside the junction box make it look neat and out the way. Sadly I have no video for you to follow.

Uncaring Carphone Warehouse Carphone Bewarehouse are a terrible company for customer service. Last week I made a mistake of going to their shop to buy a new moto g6plus phone (only availiable from them THANKS Motorola!) and a few moments after purchase I saw on the box that it was not dual sim.Box still sealed and unopened ,had only just left the shop. I went back in and They point blank refused to refund me their “help” desk was unhelpful and when I wrote to them they ignored the request and told me as they had not responded in their normal timescale they thought I may have gone back to the shop. All delaying and browning off tactics. I now despise this company including their other shops of Currys , PC World and Dixons. I will never buy from them again. Be forwarned they are absolutely awful if you make a mistake.

Amazon are quite good, let them know it's not working as expected.

robot1000

I've played around with it and it does seem to have a lot of potential. The app doesn't have 4k video, but it's just only been released, so hopefully they'll add this feature in the next update. There's more degree of rotation as unlike the Osmo 2, the YI can rotate 360 degrees and it also includes an extra function which holds the horizontal.

chokedup

I have s8 and I can't get it to work properly, it has a mind of its own, the app is utter rubbish and Bluetooth connection from the app keeps disconnecting and also the camera using the yi gimbal app doesn't focus properly. Don't know if Amazon will refund? I tried calibration few times, using Samsung camera app I was able to make a video however it wasn't straight.

robot1000

Arrived this morning and really struggling to get it working correctly... Think my Huawei P20 Pro may be a bit too big for it

I cant see where do you get the £100 extra from ? the price difference is £143 ?. You dont see many extended warranties advertised these days it was said they werent worth the paper they were written on.So if both tv's were the same in price who would by the extra warranty for £143 pounds ? almost one third more.Definate heat for the refurb price tv and whilst its only 12 months warranty you could contest any thing going wrong outside of that time with the Martin lewis saying of" reasonable amount of time" when it comes to how long something should last.

mattk

Especially if the £100 extra also included a 5 year warranty.

M0nk3h

I mean, any saving is a saving, granted but they're doing it brand new for little extra. If you have to save the £100 then sure but if you're spending £423, I'm sure the extra to buy new won't really be that much. http://www.argos.co.uk/product/6861896 *Queue comments about how I don't know people's circumstances, this is a money saving website, not HotUKDon'tSaveMeMoney*

Gravesy166

Huawei P10 Plus

leelukehope

Using the Airpods with an iPhone really does make it hard to try any other true wireless buds. Only set that never seem to have connection issues and the integration with iOS is what sells them for me. They fit really well and the sound is decent too. Wish Android had something similar as I usually only take my Huawei with me to the gym.

Oneday77

I quite fancy a small pair of Headphones to keep in a jacket pocket. Problem is the wired Bluetooth Mpow IPX7 set I have are fine enough for £15. Though these for £50 isn’t a bad thought.

daBluone

Volume is fine with my iPhone, what device are you using? I'll defend the Sonys as they have noise cancellation almost as good as Bose without the wires which I need in a noisey office. My favourite wireless earphones have been the Bose Q30 but ended up loathing the neckband. Shame as the earbud comfort is second to none as they don't go down your ear canal and the noise cancelling was perfect. I'd like to try the Zolos as I ended up working my way through all the options on the market eventually. Always looking for the grail!

How does SD content look on big 65-inch screen, does it do a good job of upscaling

alonso

I too bought this, got it up yesterday and only just having a play about. Was after some picture settings myself. I have turned off all the processing in the settings and came across a game setting in the HDR bit that says something about less lag.. I think the picture looks superb but haven't had chance to watch any sport yet, will do later when the rugby is on, just need some colour settings etc

apple21

Bought this tv, had it a couple of days now, picture is good but motion flow can seem to judder the picture in dark scenes especially, and i am worried that watching sport may be not so good. motion flow rate on this is 1400mh, thinking of sending back and getting the n6800 with rate of 2200mh and cost an extra £230 any advise on tweeks to improve my picture on this set, or on another set around £900 would be great, thanks.

Jbugman

Buy a tv then that fits your needs, no point on concentrating on HDR etc if all your doing is upscaling SD and they all scale SD snd HD differently Save some videos to a usb and try them out, the difference is surprising

Jbugman

Much like every other panel until you start reaching the grand mark. The Samsung MU7000 is supposed to have a 10bit panel but if you can tell the difference in person at this cost then your doing better then 99% of all people obviously Sony xe9 series and OLED are different story..
