This deal is extremely popular and I was going to ask if anyone would add a category so it's easier for people to find the best items to combine this deal with.
shrik

Is there a code or something for this deal? I can't seem to find the original post for it, so much appreciated if someone could share that as well! :-) Edit: Ignore, was just being dense, found the thread!

Not everyone wants / needs the same things . I'm sure you could find something you want to spend £75 and get the offer. We just bought some bedding . You can order as many items as you want as long as your total order is £75 or over , went mad and spent £76 (lol)

Thankyou very much lots of good info. I'm going to get echo 8 2nd gen, Echo dot 3rd gen and a ring doorbell which is suitable to work with Alexa plus, trechin plugs so I can plug my TV and lamps etc into

vultura

To view images from something like a Ring doorbell you would need an Echo Show 5 or 8. If you have an Amazon Fire Stick connected to your TV you can view the Ring doorbell on that too. The Echo Flex does not have a speaker built in, to play music they need to be connected to a set of powered speakers or aux input on a stereo system for example. Echo Dot can play music, but has no screen. Usually around £30 when on offer. Go for the 3rd generation version as a minimum. The Echo devices can do a lot of things - https://www.qvcuk.com/Amazon-Echo-Dot-4th-Gen-with-TP-Link-Tapo-P100-Smart-Plug.product.721037.html - The video gives you just a few examples.

newbie68. Thanks for the info, I understand what you are saying So I need an Amazon echo in my main room plus flex plugs to other rooms, do flex plugs have a speaker so I can have music in my bedroom or kitchen? Also I need a wireless doorbell so I can see video on my Main Echo, plus I want 4 plugs to operate lights that I can turn on and off using the Echo and flex plugs or something with a speaker on.

You say you have been overwhelmed about the amount of information to date. Good luck here. There is a multitude of options an choices and you just might be further confused when you finish reading the various posts that may arise here. Seems you want more than one device to speak to/have it speak back/play music etc. You mention 2 rooms. I would likely put a echo show (one with screen) in your main/busiest room and flex plugs in the other room as they are only £10 on a regular basis. Amazon will be cheapest on Black Friday - no need to look elsewhere. Smart plugs/devices that Alexa can control is a very very long list. Be a little more specific about where/amount of and exactly what you want in regards to those and perhaps myself or someone else can target suggestions better

Does anyone know where I can buy a Space Grey Apple HomePod? (I don't want the Mini). I'd like to buy new with warranty as have had an issue with one I bought a few months ago. I u… Read more

Poor sales. They blamed it on the price, but it wasn't really - price never stopped fanboys buying Apple products, and the OG HomePod was (still is) a fantastic bit of kit and worth the price. The real issue was that they tried to force people to take out an Apple Music subscription, which most people weren't willing to do as they already had Spotify which is better. My guess is that despite the price, Apple didn't make much per unit on the HomePod, and relied on service uptake. Now they're waking up to the fact that the data is just as valuable and have switched to lower price speakers and opening things up a lot more (though now Spotify refuses to integrate with Apple - probably due to a Google deal), but it's not enough. I have one HomePod and 2 x minis, all great but the OG HomePod sound quality is spectacular. Easily as good as any of the top end Bose and B&O products I have in the house and car, which cost a lot more.

Try apple refurb Certified Refurbished Products - Apple (UK)

Mr_Grumpy

Probably price I'd imagine. They are quite expensive. They seem to be pushing the mini hard which is much cheaper. I think I'll just have to take a punt on a second hand unit from eBay or similar :(

jplewis76

Hadn't realised they'd discontinued them. Had quality control issues with them then or just not much take up ?

jon81uk

Apple are no longer making them so I really don’t expect you will find many.
