Also if you use quidco to reserve and collect, this is currently 3% cashback (although 3% of what I don't really know!)
Thanks @munkeybiz I do like these sets, have quite a few various Halfords Advanced sets and they've never let me down yet.
When they become available, buy the giftcards from Cardyard. There is another 2% that can be enjoyed if you pay by bank transfer instead of cards. So, for example, buying gift cards - £100 @ 10% = £90 @ 2% = £88.20 Pick up an item for £111, show your BLC, pay with the gift cards, and you can get it for £88.20
Is never use them for servicing or fixing my motors. Far too many problems in the past. I used them for the last time last year when I took advantage of the free vehicle check as my mot was due in next 2 weeks and wanted a rough idea of any issues before so I could fix or have fixed. Bearing in Ming at the time I had a 2003 Clio with 120k on clock. Worth £300-400 tops, they gave me a quote for work to be done to the sum of £950. Took to mates and he had a good look over and said he couldn't see anything major apart from tyre balding on edge. Then took for mot and failed on tyre and tyre alone. Got them to throw new one on and passed it. The Halfords stores are so much different in my opinion. All the staff at my local are great. Recently ordered 2 mountain bikes for me and the wife and couldn't be more helpful. And this morning I purchased a sat nav without all the pussy sales patter of needing extras.
Ahh with you now the multisided has been down away with. Yeah I never use them
