The XPS 15 definitely does have an optional touch screen on both the 9550 and 9560 models:

dell.com/en-…top

"15.6" 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) InfinityEdge touch display"

"Touch friendly: Tap, swipe and pinch your way around the screen. The optional touch display lets you interact naturally with your technology."

The single XPS 15 9550 on the outlet currently lists the screen as:

"15.6inch 4K Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) InfinityEdge Touch Display"

The new Microsoft Surface book is available in both 13in and 15in sizes …The new Microsoft Surface book is available in both 13in and 15in sizes although not cheap. Dell's XPS 15 offers a high end 15in screen with touchscreen although no rotating display.I assume the lack of machines is due to the lack of demand, I have 11, 12 and 13in 2 in 1's but even the 13in is on the big side for use as a tablet.

Yep, admittedly I barely ever use it as a tablet, but the touchscreen has become second nature even in normal laptop mode. I wouldn't miss the rotating display at all.

Cheap or expensive? I've had cheap Lenovos fall apart and expensive ones …Cheap or expensive? I've had cheap Lenovos fall apart and expensive ones last forever. Same with HP, Dell, any other manufacturer. Fans wear out regardless of manufacturer though, a cheap sleeve-bearing fan lasts about 3.5 years and gets noisier as it ages. Worth replacing since it's maybe £10 worth of parts. More expensive and longer lasting ball bearing ones (5.5 years lifespan) will be in use on higher end models.

The first one was around £800 the other two were around the £1000. Had the same issue with Sony. The only ones that lasted have been dell for me. But they are very pricy
Not voting it cold, but the 8GB RAM would be a bit of a show stopper for me personally. I'd like to see 16GB in there.

512GB SSD is fine and upgradable in the future if required, though less so of a requirement these days as so much stuff can be cloud based.

Will it be as thin and sleek as this though? You pays your money....

I've an Envy 13 too. An i7 variant with the 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD.

Fantastic machine, however i would flag that ram isnt upgradable (i suspect this is the same). I'm used to Dell and older HP machines where you could simply drop more in.

Otherwise, a great machine.

ERA (trade association for entertainment retailers: specialists, independents, supermarkets, internet and download retailers as well as streaming services such as Netflix.)

While digital generated most growth in 2015, established disc-based formats remained the formats of choice for millions.

Number of DVDs sold in 2014: 124.9m
Number of Blu-Rays sold in 2014: 17.3m

DVD sales down 12.9% and Blu-ray down 8.2% continued to decline but still account for more than half of the video market.

Combined DVD and Blu-ray sales in 2015 were 119.6m discs. This suggests that DVD probably continued its decline to about 105m units whilst Blu-ray probably declined towards the 15m level.

For anyone wondering, the uv copy from the Spectre Blu-ray redeems on either Blinkbox (now TalkTalk), Flixster and Google play. I go with Blinkbox/TalkTalk as my tv (LG) has the Blinkbox app so I can view it as if I'm on the Wuaki tv app. Same with the uv code from the 23 film Bond Blu-ray collection. Nice to have the whole Bond collection available at the push of a button.

If colour does not matter I'd suggest to go for the nerf rebelle rapid red, same price in same store. Yes it's battery operated but smooth action and really good reviews. If you're buying two nerf guns at a time the best thing to go for is the nerf Elite Alpha Trooper from argos, £30 for 2. The best clip fed blaster ever made. My two cents after reading loads of reviews cause I was in business for two nerf guns as well. (ended up buying the alpha troopers)
