Voted hot just for Dollars trilogy all being at £3.99 each. They hardly ever get discounted. Get three tubs of popcorn ready...

Lotr now 18 Hobbit 15

Thats a good deal for the Tolkien stuff. iTunes have very good deals on movies/TV lately

Thanks for posting, we have added this to the Highlights section

But then as we’re talking about iTunes, regardless of the physical being an upscale a higher bit rate iTunes stream will most definitely benefit over the current HD offerings.

Nah he didn't buy it, just brought it.

Feverdawg maybe a better option at £15.02 - slightly bigger, heavier and proper metal latches instead of metal onto plastic

Got one of these and it’s absolutely solid, well worth the money

Temporarily OOS now but can still be ordered

Wanted this for my lad and have seen it for £10 elsewhere but a pain to get hold of. Having it for this price off Amazon much better. Cheers OP

Perfect! Just what I needed.

Not what I would use doing a large section?

The Loctite glue gun is good, I've never had an issue with it and I class it as essential for family life, its ace for fixing kids toys.

would you be able to use this to (repair) add shingle to missing pebble dashing on an exterior wall, thanks

If the home bargains one was dual temp, that really is a bargain

On mine, the stand is a ridiculously flimsy plastic job (this looks the same).

I have 8 of these. The RRP is overinflated, they rarely sell it at that price. They were on a 2 for £20 offer not so long back. I’m using my trade account today to get my 10% off and I’ll get them for £13.50 each which is the most I’ve paid for one, but I’m sorting my garage and inevitably I’ve found 20 odd loose boxes of stuff so needs must (lol)

£21 delivered on prime with the metal clasps if anyone prefers them.

I'm struggling to understand the cold votes though. The usual price is £24.99 so it's a huge percentage discount. No pleasing some people I suppose.

agreed. If you have an electricfix account the 10% code at the moment does at least get these down to £13.50 which isn't too far off, certainly saves time machine costs...

I think so, bargain at the time.

Got two for £5:40 each when on offer at Halfords so while ago. Work great for me. Currently same price at Halfords if that’s more convenient. They are also doing 3 pack of smaller version for £12 convenient

Yeah it’s expensive, Was hard to swallow the cost buying it before actually realising how good it was, was so happy I extended the £250 set with a few more pieces (was £200 in sales btw so sure it will be again or less)

Awesome. Thanks for the feedback. For me it’s more at a home owner view as I have tools everywhere scattered around. Looked at the Milwaukee kit but it is super pricy at £250 but I guess you get what you pay for.

Look at the Milwaukee packout, if you can get it at a good price there’s nothing better, I travel a lot for work and have gone through so many rolling tool setups, usually 6 months to a year they are needing replaced (not cheap ones either) packout kit I’m using now bought in last Black Friday sales and still feels strong as it did on day one, has years in it.

Got these at 3 for £10 in Halfords last year. They are very good. Lock together if you have more than one.

Just found one in a skip! Slight crack at the top but unbelievable what some throw away!

As I’m sure this post will attract other DIYers... can I ask what toolboxes anyone would reccomend over this? I’ve got a 15 year old Stanley and it’s truly knackered. Definitely time to buy a new one.

10% off if you are a plumbfix or electricfix customer

Pretty sure i paid sub 20 when it was posted here a few years ago. Anyway it's definitely worth 30 its solid , solid case and hasn't degraded

That's very decent, and the Halfords trade card doesn't look like it takes too much work to get. If I go ever go back to being on the contractor side of construction I'll chance my arm at getting this and a few other trade cards.

Different brand. Huge difference in quality

Aren’t these the same as the rolson ones for around £2?

These are great general purpose screwdrivers.

These are really useful, but they can be a bit too wide to fit some recessed screws which is annoying.

Got this from amazon a couple of weeks back for the same price. It’s priced at £35 at my local DIY store so in comparison it’s a good price. That said, no wonder the high street is failing with prices like that at my local!

Stanley tools are far superior in my opinion. With multibit screwdriver sets available now I can't see why anyone would buy this anymore. Takes up too much room.

Which set would you get as the pictures show two different sets?

Apparently their quantity has went down in last however many years because they are now made in China - I say apparently because I'm not entirely sure but it's something I've read on here. Voted hot because in my experience, they ARE good quality.
