Love this game achievements in it are a pain though lol

Funny game - heat :)

Probably; it's got cloud saves on Steam. Edit: or as above...

It goes off of the 'Last played' date on steam, so as long as you didn't load it up you should be fine.

£2.49 is a deal for this game. It's a true masterpiece. Don't watch any videos. Don't look at any guides. Just download the game and play it. There are 19 different ending. Try to find them all. Its the simplest of games which are truly the most fun

Stanley 110 Block Plane 1 12 116 £15.99 Prime / £20.48 Non Prime - Amazon
Found 10th MarFound 10th Mar
Manually adjustable Suitable for model makers, craft and all light duty jobs 140 mm has 35 mm blade width

The colour is a bit plane. Give it a miss

I use block planes on end grain on wood lippings. Can be used one handed.( Small and stubby.) Smoothing planes and the like are normally two handed affairs. Electric planes can take off alot of material fast, but are rubbish if you are trying to read the direction of the grain while you plane, for the cleanest cut. Miss using a lie neilson smoothing plane actually. That was badass.

(lol) (lol) (lol)

These are probably a third of the size of a traditional smoothing plane and block planes are only intended for fine work like putting chamfers / bevels on wood edging etc but it's main job is slicing through end grain without any breakout .

@apur32 What incentive did you get for posting this deal?

If these are new doors, then you really need something like a Nr 4 plane. Does not need to be Stanley, but Nr 4 refers to the size. Or a cheap electric plane. Most hand planes need sharpening first, so bear that in mind If just binding, then some rough sand paper (grade 60) a wood block, and a tub of elbow grease.

Haha, housing associations don't do square... ;)

The wheel only touch the ground when tipped up onto them when you are wheeling it.

How long before those cheap plastic wheels buckle with full load & full weight of adult standing on it? Why can't they use strong trolley wheels like those on shopping trolleys?

I've seen that, and I reckon the cantilever idea will drive people bonkers. It is just such a faff to open, that's why nobody has used them since the 70's As for the OP one, OK it's cheap, but IME the tiny boxes are just too flawed. I'm keeping just a few soldering tools in one and it's full already. Much better to have a box bigger than you need, otherwise tools get left out and then they go missing (like socks). Plus on that one, you can't access the bottom without closing the lid on the top. Normal boxes have a pull out tray which IMO works better. They are great for storing sewing stuff though.

Ooooo it is sooo well organised the Aldi one - surprised.

It's a good strong tool box

Sorry to hear this ;( shouldn't have happened to a new tool box...I think you should go back and replace it with another unit if possible... Their quality is usually pretty good (highfive)

I gave heat but I bought yesterday and the plastic catch came off the first time I opened it. You can push it back on but the same thing happens as it looks like the plastic was not moulded correctly. Even if it worked fine it's VERY flimsy and small. To be honest you're better off using a shoebox to store your tools rather than this item.

Just come back from Halfords - I saw this pop up on my mobile. Blimey! I was expecting a TOOL box. This is no more than a SEWING box for needles and pins and cotton. (embarrassed) Yes, better made than one in Poundland, as it's Stanley, but worth another 4 quid? Nah. Plus it stated original price as £6.50 so saving £1.50. So, if you are expecting it to be a TOOL box, better be TINY tools! Sorry, COLD!

The reciprocating saw in the description (Reduced to £40) will do the job. Multi tool cutting is more for awkward or middle cuts. You want more teeth for branches ideally (y)

It's not. You need a reciprocating saw which is even cheaper ... around £30 - £40 corded

Sorry if not clear enough. Branches are already off of the tree with a handsaw. Now want to chop them up... that’s why I was asking if it was suitable or if there’s a powered saw that’s specifically for that kind of job.

Lol You want to get up a tree with a corded tool that wasn't designed to cut branches... Get a handsaw mate.

Is this any good? Looking for something easy and quick to cut wood - like big branches from the garden etc...

Heat, great price especially with 2 batteries. I am tempted to buy this but allready have 3 drills, not sure I can justify getting another one. My next purchase is an impact drill but waiting for a deal. I just checked, my local store has it in stock. This is what I consider bad luck, when I don't want the item, B&Q has it in stock, but when I do want to buy it, no stock. But anyway, Heat.

Thanks bought 1 yesterday - still had 2 left on the shelf in Isle of Wight store

Bought this in store. Thanks for your help - really pleased with it for £60.

Good grief, just revisited this thread for a catch up, longest comments ever. Haven't read them though, absolutely no attention sp

I never said I mixed a whole bucket of plaster, I do like my tools and I would not abuse them on purpose. In the end of the day I pay for them from my pocket ;).

Stanley TRE550Z Heavy Duty Electric Staple/Nail Gun £20.99 @ Amazon
Found 26th FebFound 26th Feb
I’m looking for a electric staple gun which it costs £40 at B&Q. Although Argos is doing the clearance on this model, I can’t get any of them from my local Argos stores.

Thanks OP

You can get away with tube adhesive and pre drill and hammer in masonry nails or drill and use hammer in rawlplugs. Yesterday put up kitchen canopy using 18mm MDF and used the Aldi nailer bought last year, would be up to the job if walls straight and plasterboard or thick plaster. lots of sanding and filling , all guess cutting!

Really thin Architrave = yes... skirting = no think lonfest nail it will drive is only 15mm

Thank you, I’m in a dither, will I ever use it :/

Argos is selling the gun with staples and nails which is £24.99 however I can’t get any near me. You could choose to buy a pack of staples / nails and the price will be 24.38 / 23.68 from Amazon.

usual argos goose chase

Was about to pick it up, but noticed an Amazon review pointing out that it doesn't actually come with any pozidriv heads. Pretty silly, considering the blurb claims "there will not be a task around the home that cannot be completed".

Thank you very much, it wasn't obvious on the mobile version once I switched to desktop there it was. You learn something new every day!

£60 now.

How does the Brussels compare to the ordinary ones? I bought mine (stanley fatmax) 2 years a go and have used it and abused it more then i expected i though it will just be for a few screws here and there i honestly was surprised how well it performs and two 18v batteries charging time 35min run time few hours intense usage damn well if you ask me. Wow cancel that i just realised that's the same drill what i have and it is not brushless! Like in the picture and the led light is still at the spot where you are blocking it with your trigger happy finger not at the bottom and i can't seem to see the battery checker

For the sake of £15 think I'll stick with the Worx model, seems a better buy, cheers Harry.

Stick with the worx. The stanley drill is a great drill, but it doesn't have the metal chuck, and it's not a brushless model. So if the Worx wasn't double the price stick with it. Both will be superb for your required use

I have this and it's hardly been cheap. Think I bought it for £89
