Thank you! Really appreciate the detailed reply. I prefer the handle on the Titan but like the fact the polti has a compartment for storing all the accessories. But it that worth £22 more..
@J1240 Specs wise - Both are 1500W - Titan has larger water tank capacity so less need to keep on filling up - 1.5 litres versus the 0.75 litres on the Polti - Polti has 3.5 bar pressure slightly higher than the Titan 3 bar pressure - Heat up times broadly similar, 6 mins on Polti and 7 mins on Titan - Broadly similar number of accessories with each - Broadly similar weights, 2.7kg Polti and 3.1kg Titan So given the Titan is £22 cheaper and from what I see no major difference in specs then the Titan looks better value for money, although someone else maybe able to give you another opinion. thanks
Polti Vaporetto Go Steam Cleaner, 3.5 Bar, kills and eliminates 99.99% * of viruses, germs and bacteria https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B010HL5AX8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_M0N4SQPZZ1BD4H8NTVCS?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 I've got that in my basket on Amazon. Which would be better the one from this deal or that one
Cheers picked one up in store. 3 years warranty too!
This one from weeklydeals4less for £7 delivered (with mop head, can't remember if it had a spare when I received mine as I already had a spare one or two). Purple Spray Mop with Microfibre Cloth - WeeklyDeals4Less I did notice they must be closed due to Covid for 10 days but still a really good price compared to £13 to get Aldi's Addis branded one delivered.
It's the wild west out there. Everyone's wearing masks and acting like bandits these days
No. I have SC3 and after initial hype and using it over a year, I can now honestly say it's not replacing anything tbh. You still need some chemicals, strong vacuum and yes, this steam cleaner can help but it's not all in one solution. My routine is to hoover all the house with the beast Bosch vac, then steam mop it. It's okay but the results are still not good enough for us, there are dirty marks on the floor and pet hair if you don't hoover before, that's why we're now saving for Karcher FC7. But we have hard flooring only, even in bathrooms and no carpets so I understand it's different from typical British standards.
If you get one - remember to undo / remove the pressure / filler cap when cool - else it will eventually jam in (there is a clutch thing in them) - you can break them off, but a replacement cap is 25-30 quid. Else a great cleaner - especially for doing bathroom floor - as outs has mosaic tiles and this made cleaning the grout easy.
So can these things actually end up replacing a mop?
Would return the Vax, mine stopped working after a few months, the plastic tubing inside looked like it had worn out from the heat, wasn't impressed with the quality after that. Had 2 other vacuums from the company that again didn't last long.
Never miss a 'Steam Cleaner' deal again!

Not really tested it properly yet. I've used it handheld and it's done an okay job on the grout it my bathroom. Stand up as a mop it does seem a little flimsy like you couldn't push it too hard before something cracked but that will remain to be seen. You can get a branded one with less attachments for about £10 more so it might be worth doing a little more research.
I take it not good enough? (:I
Not got it yet but I'll let you know how it is when I do. The Amazon reviews are mainly positive so fingers crossed.
OP have you got this now? Any feedback on how it is?
Thank you for your support . You're very kind . God bless you . Long live EuWankYeni .
With yourself underneath it?
Ah so you're using it inside the house, see I use them on interiors or cars or engine bays and work amazing. I've never used them in the house before
Was just using general bathroom cleaners, household ones, ones with bleach, plenty of different ones and nothing beat elbow grease. Just thought it would have been less effort with this but that definitely wasn't the case
Which chemical did you use? I've been using streams for years even the cheap ones and always had really good afters.
Rather than steaming the carpet, try an ordinary wash vac carpet cleaner. A possible problem, especially with expensive carpets is that the steam may cause more damage than benefit. On cloth, for example car seats, it might open the pores of the inner material, thus causing the stain etc to seep in rather than come out. If you watch a few valeting videos, you will see that unless the situation is dramatic, steam is rarely used on material. For curtains you can use a clothes steamer. But again there will be no suck. The steamer is usually to revitalise the cloth, aiding in the removal of creases. For curtains, why not put them on a cool wash, with a good rinse and spin. Hanging them back for the sun to dry would mean the weight of the wet curtain not allowing creases to return. Put a bath towel under the curtain to collect any water.
Thanks will look into that one (y) Edit: it doesn't look suitable for fabrics or carpets, seems it is for hard floors + walls? Is there a way of it steaming and then sucking-up the dirty water from carpets + upholstery?
Thanks for your review - certainly saved me from a(nother) costly piece of unusable clutter (highfive)
I'm actually one the eight reviewers giving a negative for this machine. I sent it back because it was really cheaply made. The plastic at the end of the hose came off. The squidgy part fell off and you cant use it for your carpet bceause water was leaking so much. I don't recommend it.
This worked great for me on blinds- perhaps curtains too? https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/astonish-mould-and-mildew-remover-750ml-ps1-amazon-ps449-pp-non-prime-95p-ss-3731843
Vinegar also. Stinks though... but tbh I kinda like it.
Bleach destroys mould :)
I dont think it would. But I had same problem and I tried turpentine with cotton wool and then washed it in the machine. Even mould on washing machine rubber gaskets gone with turpentine. Try may be on the area which is not visible.
Can this be used to clean light mould on curtains?

It would be very helpful for the community, to hear about any malfunctions or issues members have had with these units - and how you 'righted' them. There seems to be a reoccurring problem highlighted - of the tube splitting or the plastic of the head snapping, just out of warranty (or after only a few uses). Bissell tell people these tubes/repairs are 'not user serviceable'. If it were sporadic complaints - i'd assume its just the odd unit. However - with the frequency of complaints about these 'specific malfunctions' i'm beginning to wonder if it's planned obsolescence. What went wrong with your unit? How did you remedy the situation?
Different machine. The pro is the same price.

This looks really quite good. Shame can't find a thorough review, presumably new?
I also have the non pet version and it's great. Small to store and does a great job, especially handy for stairs, sofas and car interior

I bought the non pet version a month or so ago. Only because it was much cheaper than this one at the time. I have a fabric sofa and the water is filthy coming out of it (dogs allowed on the sofa) I'm not sure if the pet one would really be much difference
