I've been researching digital piano's for my son and came to the conclusion that the minimum specification for anyone begining on their piano playing journey is to have 88 Keys, touch sensitive with graded hammer action. Anything below this is just a fancy toy that isn't suitable to learn on. Realistically the cheapest piano's you can get that meet this speck is the Casio cdp-230 which is currently cheaper than it's ever been at around £240 ( as it's due for replacement soon) or the Yamaha P-45 at around £320. A lot of money I know but that's what you have to pay to get an entry entry level piano with proper feel and sound. Note that you will see piano's around £200 that Lok like they meet these specifications but most (such as the sdp or Alecis recital) use a sprung weighted action that will give your child tendonitis. There are other things to look for such as Polyphony with the Yamaha above being better than the Casio, but this is somewhat irrelevant until you play at a very high standard by which point you'll be looking to spend over £500. Hope this information is of some help.

Agreed. This deal looks like a lot for the money, but take away the cost of the stool, stand and headphones, that leaves very little for the keyboard. It will be great as a toy for someone to see if they take to playing the keyboard, but for someone who is already on the journey, this will be unsuitable.

Personally I wouldn't buy this keyboard or any keyboard without some form of touch sensitive keys. I got a Rockjam keyboard from Amazon marketplace and sent it back the next day. The sounds were very poor. Have a look at the Yamaha PSR keyboards. The sounds are very good and the Yamaha PSR F51 has a package for just over £100 although I don't believe the keys are touch sensitive. I bought a Yamaha PSR E363 which is currently £165 from Amazon. Read all the reviews you can find before investing in a keyboard. Watch the Youtube videos and if you have a local music shop it is well worth a visit to try before you buy. Hope this helps.

When it says "tucks behind ANY toilet" that's not true because some are attached to the wall, it does tuck in at the front though. I got one and tried it and using this I don't think you'll be spending as much time reading on the toilet because it's not that comfortable, but we probably shouldn't be doing that anyway. Another potential problem for men is that the new angle doesn't give you much room at the front which could be a problem for the larger gentlemen.
