My wife and I stayed there 2 years ago it is a 10 min walk from the beach and the hotel and rooms are clean and tidy. There is a 24 bakery in walking distance and grandma's recipes does awesome kebabs. The pub two doors down doesn't serve food but grandma's recipes deliver to you table.

Incredible price - Not knocking it, just being a comedian!

There was another hotel a couple of £ more but not B&B. Both have good reviews on TripAdvisor overall. Infact for both the accommodation alone is more than this deal! I guess it depends how much you intend to be in your room/hotel.

Yeah, I know what you mean - doesn't fill with much confidence, plus it looks like a mound of building rubble next door to it (like they're clearing the site for another hotel...) (shock)

The hotel image being of the pool worries me (lol) but so cheap!

Red Antler cabin suitcase at less than 30% retail £45 with code -
Found 15th AprFound 15th Apr
Great reviews, accepted on all the major airlines, and only £45 when you use the code ant2018
Get dealGet deal

This was just £31.50 with same code 2 months ago -- plus free delivery.

So not a cabin bag then ?

Ryanair's policy is super weird. So this size would be included in a basic ticket but would be checked unless you pay extra to bring it in the cabin

The dimensions are 55x40x20 :- looking at most airline they are 40-45 ish on the others - and Ryan air has decreased their specs :- I know I was stung lately Perhaps I was scammed???

Yes. Ryanair have dropped theirs to this size.

Really? Surely room available the morning of flight......

Only 6 nights really as you lose the first night of your hotel as you won't arrive until after 8am in the morning. Then you'll have to check out at 12 lunchtime and be out of your room until you fly home the following morning at 7am! It would make more sense for Thomas Cook to start the 7 nights hotel from the day of arrival rather than the day before.

Stayed at The Seaview twice! Would highly recommend! Alykes is beautiful.

sweet deal

Great price but terrible flight times both ways:(

October is widely regarded as one of the best months to go Ibiza if you want a quiet holiday. It's beautiful that time of year and weather is still good enough to catch a tan.

I've been 3 times in May and it has been scorching.

Not half term

We went to San Antonio last October for a short break, 7th to 10th I think and there were a lot of places already closed. I think Cafe Mambo were closing on 14th and they were one of the last, but it depends what you're going for. We went dressed for the cold and it was scorching every day, although the forecast had been for rain that never materialised.

Would anything be open in October

Unfortunately it does take time and I have to say at times I pulled my hair out, however in the end if you persevere you will get there. I pay a little bit more than I would like because I don’t like night flights coming back. Just as an example puerto rico hottest part of Gran Canaria during the Easter/ Christmas periods, temperatures between 28 to 31 degrees , ignore the temperature guides on the websites for Puerto Rico it’s definitely better than what they say. We paid £1350 for 7 days. I used holidayextras website to book my parking from East Midlands for £41.00. This was in the airport only 7 minute walk to departures. I also paid for my seats separately so we can all sit together which was an additional cost, but if your children are below a certain age , I think 12 is the default on the booking it costs an additional £8.00 to make sure you are sitting together, that was with Ryanair. But this is all done through on the beach. I know many people don’t like them but I really can’t complain. I normally go all inclusive but decided to go self catering this time and it was far better, not restricted to the restaurant times, boring food and rubbish beer. I will always go self catering from now on and again it’s cheaper. I actually came back with euros which is rare. The luggage allowance with Ryanair is 10 kilos each person . I pay for one hold case and use my 10 kilo allowance for each person. To be honest we don’t need the hold case, the free 10 kilos cases is enough but I just have to pacify my wife, who decides to fill it up with about 15 kilos, which does annoy me because we didn’t really have to pay for it. Especially when we only take 2 of our free 10 kilos. Wheres the sense in that? Anyway hope you find something just keep searching, by the way don’t forgot HolidayPirates , they are also good.

Shame I can’t do this for me and my 2 boys. I’m wanting to take them somewhere warm, near the beach and affordable. Seems so difficult 😞. Any tips?

I have to agree about doing the research , I’ve booked loads of holidays with them, if you read in detail I have found it says you may be moved to another hotel etc so I simply don’t book it. I use a completely different company to book my extras like parking at the airport and taxis from the airport to the resort and back. I use holiday extras because they are cheaper and they give you all the out of hours contact details if there is an issue but have never at to do that yet. I have just come back from Gran Canaria after booking with OTB, went to Greece last year, will be going again this year and will continue to use them. I guess if you are not keen on sorting out issues yourself whilst abroad the companies to use are Thomas Cooke etc because you have rep, but as I’m sure you are aware you pay a lot more for the extra service. I go on more holidays now because I can afford to with OTB.

I’ve booked 4 holidays with them and never had a problem. You obviously didn’t do your research mate

I will never touch OTB. My mum went to turkey with them a few years ago. They changed the date of the return flights without telling her, and when they went to the rep to ask for help he claimed it was nothing to do with him and just ignored them from then on out. Me and my brother had to phone the company from the UK until they agreed to do their job and get them home.

Having a rule were you can take your kids out of school for a holiday once every two years or something would make sense. I've never taken my kids out of school for a holiday... but it would be nice if I could just once without the threat of a fine.

Didn't say i agreed with it, I feel your pain too as I have children. But it's not the fault of the holiday companies. Most big UK holiday companies operate at a loss for their UK operations. Staggering school holidays by region could be one option but that could also cause problems. I hate the fact that shops and restaurants etc whack up their prices in December in the run up to Christmas but again it's supply and demand, nobody is forcing us to buy and pay extra

Yeah think my points gone over your head...

I agree it shouldn’t be driven by money the headteacher doesn’t do the job fo 70k plus a year and the teachers don’t do the job for 43k plus a year and the very generous pension ..........

Shame this has now increased quite alot, i was going to book, damn!

It is better to see what you are buying....and certains shops do come up with sales often...try Sportsdirect, tesco, argos, etc.

Friend bought these last year. Used once. Fell apart.

They were this price months ago when a family member was asking me to order this set - I advised her to spend more elsewhere on something of better quality. Take the RRP with a massive pinch of salt.

From RRP I didn't except that :{

bushman, i have never heard of this lot before but bought the ABS case on the other deal for my boy who is going to uni this year. I set up the cash payment option paid after delivery (within 7 days). The case arrived within 3 days was reasonable quality and i paid by debit card. May never order from them again but the offers seem open to new? customers. Stuff that isnt on offer seems expensive though.

Be Warned re this Studio bunch. I wasted alot of my time previously. They will put you through the hoops with a long process of opening up a formal old school account (including credit check) prior to being able to process order (absolutely no credit card / Paypal upfront alternative). If they see you are simply cherry picking one of their special offers, they are likely to just cancel your order and send you a letter stating your application is turned down "as you do not meet their criteria". No further explanation offered, despite an unblemished credit rating!! Seems these special deals are exclusively reserved as a reward for their regular clients who splash the cash on mostly overpriced goods. Would be happy to hear from other peoples' re experiences with Studio, but cold for me

Hot, good find

Thanks just what I needed, there is a 6 piece suitcase deal also available for a tenner more but they look even more ugly than these! Not sure these wil llast but for £20 you cant complain really! :-)

I can’t really see this being an issue at security. It’s not a great deal different to a laptop and power supply, phone charger, electric razor etc, all of which are ok. I regularly pass through with all of the above (except laptop of course) chucked in one carry on case and the X-ray view appears to be just a jumble of wires...
