I agree, especially compared with Ardbeg or Laphroaig
It's definitely middling on the peat, not like the heavier ones from Islay. One of the classics no doubt.
IIRC this tastes like having a cigar in liquid form. Not my thing tbh.

The waffle included above says it's got a "rich and powerful peat-smoke flavour", but personally I find it reasonably mild in this regard. But everyone's tastes are different.
