I personally think Full HD is not necessary on a 32” TV.
We’ve had a Technika TV in our bedroom for 8 years. No problems. Thinking of buying one of these for my son’s room.
Have to say the JBL speakers are pretty good sound
I have to disagree, it gives folk choice and a low cost option for those with a small budget to spend. I had a 51” 720p tv for some time and was ‘fine’ for tv and even xbox1. Guess it depends how far you sit away from it and how fussed you are. If say, it’s a bedroom tv connected by standard aerial/coax then the pic may be more than acceptable. I’d liken it to buying a Dacia Duster, not the most advanced/safe car to drive yet some folk still buy it as it does still get you from A to B, very affordably :D
Got two in my store I didn’t bother buying because HD ready 720p they did make a mistake advertising by putting up this misleading. This is the old version which was FHD but they don’t male this anymore

Bluetooth wireless earphones Technika branded instore at Tesco - £5£5Tesco Deals
Thought this was good for those on a budget or for the gym etc. Considering they are not much more than the tws air pod copies that went super hot I think these are probably a bet… Read more
Just bought one of these as a gift for my Nan, I was very very surprised with the quality, it's sharp, colourful and far better than the 7 year old Toshiba LCD it replaced. sound is decent enough, it's not tinny, better than I expected at least! absolute bargain, she's pleased! picture doesn't do much justice
Thanks for posting (y) I’ve seen the 50 inch in action with a sky HD source and it’s very good :D
its just hit and miss what is left in store really, but there has been lots of ear phones on clearance over the past few days
Where can I get the Xiaomi earphones? Thanks
not worth putting in your ears, you get what you pay for
They ok, and for £2.50 it's a no brainer. But my pair died pretty quickly. For similar money I've found the Xiaomi earphones that are often this price sound better and last longer. But you do have to wait longer to get them

Technika 40inch 40G22B-FHD Full HD Slim LED TV with Freeview HD and JBL speakers £209 @ Tesco£209Tesco Direct_eJod Deals
Basic spec but good reviews and a good price it seems!
Bought this but considering returning it (not collecting) and going for either of these: Currys- Blaupunkt Tesco - Sharp Any opinions?
JBL is a Samsung company via Harman btw, so should have decent sound if not 4K, good for kids bedroom for dancing around mad or a games room/den :)
Rather pay £95 more for a 43”4K UK made Cello (northern England based). Cello have also licenced the Ferguson brand from French congloThomson Technicolor so expect to see that old brand revived on the higher street soon :)
Anybody have any ideas if this any good for gaming, PS4, i.e. frame rate, blurring, anything else. Any help would be appreciated!

wow didn't realised FIFA produced special TV's for world cup, why can't they send every season pass holder one for free!
Good to see you are content, so rare these days.
"With JBL speakers" So if I dismantle the TV, I will find a JBL logo on a 10 cents chinese tweeter? Seems legit.
I just dont get it. What has the World cup got to do with the sale price of TV's ? These marketeers will use any excuse to sell their products and excess stocks. I am surprised they have not yet come up with the idea of a TV sale to coincide with the Royal baby birth , just so that the initial photos of the baby looks so very good on a HD, 4k whatever ! Just imagine all the ("Anything Royal" loving ) old grandmas queueing outside the Tesco stores to mark the event and Tesco having a bumper April sale.
Set this up tonight, pretty decent overall however the left and right hand side of the picture is definitely brighter than the rest of the screen (obviously edge lit), pretty obvious in dark scenes. Has anyone else noticed this, just wondering if I should swap it in the hope of getting a better one..
Mila away from my nearest transmitter. About 20 miles, looks like I need to be with 3 miles
Can surely leave your friends with a "wow" face!
Think you can look online and find out.
Hot, only bought an LG 24" yesterday for £119 , wish I hadn't opened it now cos I could have taken it back for a refund. Find 24" a bit small so this will be perfect

Offer Stack - Technika 32G22B 32 Inch HD Ready 720P Slim Led TV with Freeview HD and JBL Speakers Plus NOW TV Smart box, with a 3 months Sky Entertainment £149 Del w/code @ Tesco Direct£149Tesco Direct_eJod Deals
Thought this wasn't a bad offer, Tesco Direct currently have a few offers on that will stack, eg money off codes + Buy any TV and get a NOW TV Smart box with a 3 months Sky Enterta… Read more
Further to my previous post you can't record freeview whilst watching hdmi, if you press source it asks you if you want to end your recording. It still lets you record in standby so the record is only really good for timeslip or timer or one touch record and leave it recording or if you want to keep what your watching. Also as per freeview requirements you can take the recording off the pen drive but you can't play it elsewhere it's encrypted. I'm ok though with my vu+ freesat box
This is a great deal. Have decided to downsize my TV as I rarely watch it and it does freeview record which is a bonus as I can get the showcase Europe games for the rest of year till it shuts and three hdmis means I connect my vu+ sky and computer. It allows audio in for sound and you can get no quibble 6 months extra if you register the product. I would go guardian article to get 18 months to 2 years EU regs but if you get over 2 years you've had your money's worth hot
I bought a Technika TV from Tesco 2 years ago for my daughters bedroom. After 2 weeks one of the HDMI's packed up ( the sound stopped and the picture went pink) so took it back for another. Last night the replacement one did the same so have swapped to the other HDMI. She doesn't watch it that often either.
You need to change the picture, the picture is the built in DVD version
Have a HDMI!???????

Like most more than likely a 50hz then possibly bumped up to 100hz using the software of the tv. Personally Id stay clear and get a cheapo bush from Argos. Like all these cheap TVs the screen maybe good but its letdown by the poor internals like speakers and cheap vestel generic software.
I for one don’t like the make of tv, i’ve had 14 tvs in a hotel and sent 10 back within 12 mths with problems.
Hi, can anyone possibly help.... I got another of these tv's (thanks for posting OP) already had one and was delighted with it for the price so wanted another, as they are so sleek and look cool wall mounted....my 2 kids share a big bedroom, both got high sleepers and have the tv's mounted on the wall at the end of their beds for xbox/ps4.... as these are both exactly the same model since putting up this second one this morning each other's remotes are causing havoc.... son turns on his tv and xbox then the other son turns his on which turns off other son's tv etc etc.... Was funny for about 5 mins X) but need a solution quick, so thought someone lovely and helpful on here can come to my rescue :p xx
Not sure I get your logic. Why not spend an extra £80 on top of your 40'' and get the 50''. The TV you mention is no better value than this one. Only makes sense to compare against a similar size TV, and for this money this is the best TV on the market.
as for £66 your getting a 40 inch and its a smart tv. It wont be ideal for everyone but if you have the space and it meets your needs I thought its a better option. People can have these tvs for bedrooms or second reception rooms ect
Why would people be better off spending 50% more money on this TV? I am sure many people want this TV for a smaller bedroom, kitchen or a like, where a TV any bigger either wouldn't fit or is totally unnecessary.
if you got the space better of paying the extra £66 and getting this https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/toshiba-40-smart-full-hd-led-tv-199-with-ecoupon-tesco-direct-2707262
Bought one of these last night. Paid £20 more than this offer price, but happy with it so far. The sound is very loud for such a slim telly and the screen is decent. I've been using it for gaming and DVDs. So far, no complaints.
Amazing! Thanks so much for this I guess I'll be making a purchase..
I've got it mounted on the wall so can only give you an approx. measurement...it's about 7cm deep at it's thickest point, which is at the bottom.
Could you do me a favour and measure the depth of the tell without the stand please, surely its not 17.5cm thick? That's a deal breaker for me
Can anyone tell me the real depth of this tv? I refuse to believe it is 17.5cm deep without the stand. I want to wall mount it but not if its that thick! thanks.

Technika Refurbed 22E21B-FHD/DVD 22" Slim LED TV Full HD 1080p DVD Combi With Freeview £75 @ Tesco Ebay Outlet£75eBay Deals
was looking for a cheap tv for the kids xmas and this fits the bill make offer of £72 it will be accepted and + £3 postage :-) not bad as comes with 12mth warranty too.
this, or a very similar one is £149 in store in tesco, wondering if it will drop on Friday. ..
It also appears that Tesco have been clearing refurbished ones recently on ebay for anywhere between £85 and £100 (32/241 is not the Technika model no, it's the generic one from the manufacturer UMC) Possible the ebuyer ones are not refurbished I guess.
Christ, I had somehow forgotten to diss ebuyer while I was discussing that, their returns process is a catastrophe (and this http://www.theregister.co.uk/2013/12/24/ebuyer_rates_staff_on_returns_rejected/) They are great until something doesn't work at which point they become a nightmare. They'll do anything to try and make you give up returning stuff.
They're fine until you get a problem and then as you've found they can be right sods. Still, most companies are terrible at customer service, I spent 4 weeks arguing with Currys when their courier lost (and admitted they'd lost) the £40 item I ordered. I spent several hours saying the same thing to numerous support staff. I only get a faster response when I wrote an appalling review on Trust Advisor and surprise surprise got a reply in a couple hours.
I bought a Dell laser printer from Ebuyer a month ago, having bought several items in the past with no drama. Tripped the electrics on first use when powered on. Took them 3 weeks to agree a return authorisation (after 3 phone calls and several emails). They then said they could not replicate the fault and want to dock me a £10 collection fee before agreeing a refund - seriously avoid this company!
