To be fair the licence fee was created when their was no other form of entertainment available. We now live in a time where we have 100's of channels & On Demand streaming of video content. Their is plenty of content available to watch now and it's about time the BBC was modernised and left to fend for itself on it's own two feet.Their is no real justification i can see for a licence fee to be needed in this day and age.

Yes it is for people who can't afford it, and when it's back up by courts and bailiffs. It is an anachronism which has long past its time, and it should now be a voluntary fee not a compusory tax for owning a TV.

£150.50 is rapacious? Get a grip (lol)

From what I've read the £100M investment hoard generates a return of around £2-£3 million a year meaning it would take just over 30 years to make another £100M which is not worth it to me. They should be spending it now the amount of money they receive every year from the appeal is more than enough without having to hold back money to invest.

I'm sure it was either Children in Need or Comic Relief that were found to be using donated money to invest in other companies, some were questionable e.g. tobacco companies. People give money exepecting it to be used for a good cause not to fund investments in other compnaies. I avoid donating to big charities now prefer to give money to local causes where i can see the money being used properly.

Have to have one!! My daughter is absolutely terrified of chewie 😳 and as a bad mum it’s going up for Christmas

I've got one of these and I'll be honest it's a pretty poor 'doll'. Not the greatest of quality and I'd be amazed how they pull of those poses in the picture! Good price though. Still wouldn't buy it again.

heat added and ordered just because its so cool another present to put away for my boys.

Wasnt that what he (Chewbacca) was actually based on?

Thanks OP. Finally, my pet chihuahua gets the male "pleasure" doll she deserves...

Why is it going to be happening again? This is an offer that can be used any time in the month your child was born. It's also only the birthday bear that you are allowed to get for your child's age so can't see it happening with this

Has anyone used it more than once or does it show when they enter you’re email address that you’ve already used it?

Just got home from the Lakeside store with my mum and despite us having separate email addresses and Build A Bear accounts, they would only let us use one voucher. As my mums email address is a sub account from my main one and doesn’t know it off by heart ( I deal with all her ‘techy’ stuff ), the manager told me that as it was ‘my’ email account, she would only allow one voucher, although we were going to make 2 separate transactions. She was a proper jobsworth, rude and smug and told me those were the ‘rules’. I even tried calling Build A Bear Head Office 3 times from the store and got cut off after being on hold for ages. I ended up using just one voucher after the manager refused to budge and hid out the back! I left the store pretty peed off!

did anyone print theres?

I have managed to get my children 1 bear each (i have 3) I have 2 different build a bear accounts Nd my partner has 1. We went trafford centre with only 1 of my children and we were able (via 3 seperate emails and transactions) able to get 1 bear each child . Toothless which i paid £7.50 towards. A mixup monsters only coating £1.50 A paw patrol costing £9.50 The staff were really friendly and helpful. They even took items out of a bear which was pre made so we didn't have to make them (queue was massive) :-)
