Emirates crap? Gulf Air has a new plane in the London service but older planes to non prestige destinations. Plus Dubai airport and the city itself are far better than Bahrain.

Wow so original and funny hehehehe

What's crap about Emirates business class?

Absolutely by any measure the most pathetic airlines in the entire world. This is not a deal a honey trap !!!

I would say you have to take reviews with a pinch of salt. You know the one complaint heard loudest over 1000 good reviews. I would say dont be frightened to give this a try, the same experiences the above have do not mean you will.

Thanks, I will be going to Philippines next year and I thought if I should cheap out and buy a flight with AirChina, or spend a bit more and enjoy the flight

Yes, I vowed never again a long time ago. The food and drink, in flight service, entertainment etc is awful. They even lost my luggage in Hong Kong which then had to be forwarded to me a day later. The check-in service is comparable to Little Britain’s “Computer says, No!” Seriously, I would never recommend them.

Horrible airline, speaking from experience! Not only lost our bags on the way back from Beijing but managed to send my bag to my friend in Manchester and his bag to me in London! Took another week before we saw any of our baggage. Better off paying £50 - £100 more and cutting a few hours off via India or UAE!

Realized my error on the missing links now thanks, didn't see it was a multi city listing :) Not sure why it was showing a different price before as clicked same link, all good now tho and seems like a great deal.

I think if you try and buy the one-way AMS-DPS it is £400. But buying it as a multi trip is cheaper. All three SIngapore flights are on the same link.

Was viewing in incognito mode, although skyscanner claim they don't slowly increase their prices anyway. I see £299 now so no idea.

It is the beginning of rain season yes, but I'd be very surprised if you got rain everyday. And even if you did it still beats being in the uk (y)

I'm guessing you've never been to Thailand then, I'm sure you could find more than enough to do, including amazing views and beachs. Cheap scuba diving to name but a few things. The only problem with this deal is that I think you'd find that 10 days just isn't long enough. Voted hot.

Go to the elephant sanctuaries, enjoy the beautiful countryside and beaches. Meet with some of the 69 million people, perhaps you may even enjoy the company of the natives and if your very clever find some that aren't 'Lady boys'.

Woohoo lady boys . On a serious note . If I was not interested in lady boys and elephant torture, what would one do in Thailand?

You're kinda correct. Thanks OP, booked 25th May to 4th June still same price. Have some heat....

Right. Not for everyone I'm sure but I go twice a year to train muay thai

Wouldn't that be roughly 15% more expensive to travel anywhere not just Thailand.

Yes. You're 25% more likely to get murdered on your holidays in Orlando than in Thailand!

Yes - The Dreamliner is nice, as is the A380. Not just the plane though. It is also about the service, luggage allowance and seating configuration. Also how late/ cancelled the planes are.

Sorry ..Expired . Next time dont be waiting just act quick.

Just went to book. Expired now. Back up to £482 Sad times..

Unbelievable price. Hot 5 kg is ok for thailand and Tui are pretty good if you can manage your expectation.

Used these flights for 3 years running twice to phuket to once as a starting point to travel 4 places in Thailand and once to get to Cambodia. This year same price but to Sri Lanka. We only ever travel hand luggage and it' never been weighed. Always around 7-10kg as you check in on line they don' weigh your bag.

COLD. Cheap because its rain season. Far worse than North West standards too. Just google Thai rain season.

Can't really argue with this price it's excellent. You can fly to Oz direct from HKT too so could be a stopover on way there

China visa waiver is quite complicated. It depends on where you are actually going to within China on whether you get the visa waiver as it is only applicable at some airports/ports. I never made use of the visa waiver as I went to China for 3 weeks but I planned my friends visit to Thailand and booked her flights so she had two and a half days in Beijing, with the visa waiver. I did find this info on visas for cruises which is interesting. China No visa is necessary for Sanya (on Hainan Island) as long as you join an organised excursion. Foreign tourists arriving in Shanghai on a cruise are now allowed up to 15 days of visa-free stays in the city. Passengers must be travelling on tour groups arranged by travel agencies that are registered in China and the companies must submit the details of their groups to inspection authorities at least 24 hours before the ships arrive in Shanghai to be eligible. The cruise passengers may remain in Shanghai or travel to Beijing, the northeastern port city of Tianjin, as well as coastal provinces where ships often berth, including Liaoning, Hebei, Shandong, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, Hainan and Guangxi.

I would check your understanding ....I was on a cruise ship that stopped for one night...and we had to pay the visa ...and you had to pay for the visa even if you stayed on the ship and didn't set foot in china.

I feel I need a holiday after reading all that ......

Indeed, but for some a couple of days in China would appeal for some sightseeing. I'd go back to China in a heartbeat. You can get indirect flights (without a couple of days in China for around £340). If your aim is to just get to Thailand in the quickest time possible then paying an extra £100pp or so would probably appeal.

Great find, but personally 2 days in Beijing in Nov/Dec then flying to Thailand from China does not appeal. You could get direct BA flights from London to Bangkok for £463pp return 27th Nov - 13th December, then pick up the hotels from the post, overall cost would not be very different, makes more sense to me

I live and work in SE Asia for 10 months of the year and have done for many years. Patong is Benidorm but without the class oO. Rip-offs abound and increasingly has spread to the rest of the island. Thailand, the real Thailand, has to be one of the easiest places in the world to travel around, do it yourself, just book a flight.

June isnt exactly the wet season, its a great time to go. Yes there may be rain but its usually short bursts late or early and then clears up and is a welcome relief.

pat.... all depends what you want really. Bangkok has everything. Great nightlife, great markets, great food, historical sites (and the sleaze side of life if thats what you want) and is very very cheap even with the pound being so poor. I have my favourites. but you have to be more specific to what you'd like. I've been many times to thailand but I head to other places like Koh Sok National Park Railay Beach Ko phayam Samilian Islands Pracup Kiri Kan and many more. but if you decide only to do bkk for 5 nights. I would probably stay near the centre....between sukhumvit soi 1 to 24...would be my advice for accomodation.

put it this way, go ANYWHERE but Patong, unless you are interested in sex tourism

dont book that trip, normal boat trip will cost £20pp. as for phuket, patong is the busy place, but if u are a couple, or elder, then go to the other beaches. I've been twice..

Just booked my Dad a couple of weeks in the Phuket sun. He goes to Thailand 1 - 2 times a year. I always take a look at Thomson as they've been operating this flight direct to Phuket for a couple of years now and always heavily discount in November. Couple this with around £250 for accommodation and £150 for spendies (enough for a couple of beers and Thai curry each evening), he gets away for £670 all in. Almost cheaper than staying at home and stoking up the boiler!

Why don't you trust Omega? I've booked flights with them before and not had any problems

I do travel to Doha quite frequently because my girlfriend lives there so I know that flights from the UK to Qatar are not cheap. You could get cheaper flights with Oman Air or Gulf Air but you need to change at least once. And Pegasus have a worse reputation than Ryanair and they're often late or their flights get cancelled so I'd not use them. I get it that it's a good price for a business class flight and you can collect a huge amount of Avios and tier points but you still need to get to Doha somehow. Maybe we could start posting deals on flights from Dallas to Johannesburg or Vladivostok to Shangai.

Why? Why do people comment on things they have absolutely no clue about :/

Not that hard: Kayak - BA Direct: £356 @Omega via Kayak (must admit, I wouldn't trust Omega though) - Pegasus (One stop) £202 @ Opodo via Kayak

Good luck finding a direct flight to Doha under £400...
