That’s a shame, it’s showing out of stock for my local stores as well. Would have been a even better deal with the £15 off code on here as well

Back to £14.99 now. Great game if you haven't played it, relies heavily on coop to succeed
Great game and stellar gameplay. Unfortunately it takes forever to grind levels in order to proceed. And the matchmaking is not working very well.
I bort this when it was released gave up when the raid thing was realease it was abit broken and played destiny instead. Now destiny 2 is broken I reinstalled this and loving it. Fixed alot of the original problem's and new free horde mode and global events make it a fun grind.
Great game. I want the Gold edition but prices have gone crazy if you can even find it.
Will get this as soon as it gets the Xbox one x patch played it on ps4 and loved it apparently since last update it's even better can't wait to see how good it looks on the X

Best game mode in any game bar Survival which is the height of tension the first few times you play it.But...it depends in your personality. If you like complete lawlessness and life not being fair, it is for you.If not - play another shooter.

Yeah - the "Troll Zone" certainly isn't for lone billy-goats
I did have some fun on a couple of occasions, playing with a well-knit group of seasoned players but I felt my soul ebbing away when the group decided to wail on some poor loner
As coordinating friends on the same level as you is difficult, the Dark Zone and Challenge Modes have limited appeal and application.

For £5, this is a bargain and a must buy

Is this game playable online only?

It's a bit of an odd answer given how Ubisoft made the game.

Yes you need an internet connection to play - it checks in with the Ubi servers for your profile, and when you are in any of the hubs (safe areas) in the game you can see other players wandering around in there. This acts as a place you can easily form groups to play MP.

But if you want to play the game as single player, all you have to do is walk out of the safe area and you are effectively playing SP until you reach a big mission or another safe area. If you get stuck in a mission, or want to play with friends (or randoms) you can either search for others doing the same mission, or open yours up to allow others to join. The integration between SP and MP there is pretty seemless. Finish the mission and don't want to be in MP any more? drop out of the group and you are back where you were.

The only area that is truly MP is the Dark Zone, which is a central area on the map combining PVP and PVE combat, but where players actively team up to fight other players. Entirely up to you if you want to go into this, and you can complete the whole of the normal campaign without needing to go into the Dark Zone.

As for the deal this is great value for a fiver. The only drawback is that when you get hooked you may wish you had got the Gold Edition including the Season Pass, as the Season Pass doesn't come down much in price even when on sale.

one cannot venture too far off-piste and expect success. a point blank secret assault on a 4 level higher "villain" will result in oblivion. which i found a bit frustrating but one can occasionally be successful. i am not the most talented player and found most fun in trying to compete above my level.
I paid £10 and think that an okay spend for the scale of play.

You're not missing much Heat added, good price.

I have tried to get back into it, put maybe 20 hours into it solo, none of my mates play it so I've been playing solo and a couple of pugs.

I get ganked by what I'd call in warcraft terms a "twink group" every time I try the dark zone so I gave up on that

I really can't get excited about it, constantly thinking, "when is this going to get going? " so far still asking the same question to myself so I've removed it from my Hdd again.

Lots to do, but would not recommend to a solo player.

Good price though to someone!

I probably spent fewer than ten hours in the dark zone, but it was tense and enjoyable even though I usually stick to PvE. And the game as a whole is much improved since the apparent launch problems (although I played it back around January, so maybe it's got worse again since then!). I really enjoyed the shooting and the loot in this game - it genuinely surprised me with how engaging it was. Well worth downloading and trying out.
Cracking game thanks for the heads up I'll download it. Although I heard that the pc version is full of cheaters. Suppose it won't matter much I probably won't make it to dark zone in a weekend
The 'campaign' takes around 30 hours for first play through properly. Other players can help power level however.
How many hours of gameplay to complete? Should it be easy to complete over the weekend without too much of a binge?
