Now £2.42, or £2.30 with S&S, plus another 5% off when ordering four, so ended up paying £2.18 a case. Can't argue at 27p a can. (y)
Now £2.54. must be trying to shift them! (lol) Got mine yesterday and had one just as a soft drink. Very pleasant and a good alternative softie as less sweet and a bit more nuanced but as mentioned above not a tonic water. No astringent quinine bite. I'm sure I will enjoy it with gin and vodka on occasion but won't replace a good tonic long term.
Thanks for sharing @Brummie2020 - nice find :)
Care with these as not really tonic water. No quinine just natural flavouring plus sugary. Nice as a soft drink but not a tonic water.
Well spotted! Ordered two, thank you. X

London Essence Original Indian Tonic Water, 6 x 150mL - £2.00 prime / £6.49 non prime (£1.80 S&S -20% First Order) @ Amazon£2Amazon Deals
I've been looking for some cheap premium tonic as I can't always justify Fever Tree and Fentimans. This has just dropped to £2.00 on Amazon, with 10% off for Subscribe and Save (£1… Read more
Hmm had mine delivered. Jury out on the taste - it has a weird aftertaste, slightly like sucking a worn sock ... It might be a bit better with some alcohol in it. Still drinkable though :)
To be honest I play the game too, but sometimes it works out quite handy on certain items and I end up continuing with those subscriptions. I'm sure if there are more like me amazon must be making a profit
Highly doubt these will arrive in one piece, every time I’ve ordered bottles from Amazon, Hermes have had a smashing time with them. Given up now
Wasn't a big fan of this when its all I could get from Costco in the first lock down, but heat for the (original) price!
I think they're on to a winner for all those people that forget they're subscribed and it comes again at a higher price anyway haha

Peter Spanton Lemongrass 200ml tonic water on sale in Home Bargains Bradford for 10p
So again, not great for me. its like a weak, sugary ginger beer. like you had lots of ice with an old jamaica then added some sugar. i thin over ice it would be quite nice light drink, but zero punch at all.
I look forward to it! (y)
Haven't actually tried that one yet. Had the rose lemonade before and know I like it The grapefruit tonic was a little disappointing, no strong flavour of grapefruit, more of just a Mediterranean tonic water (aldi's is good) I'll report back on the pink ginger.
Would you recommend the Pink Ginger as a standalone drink?

Schweppes Slimline Tonic Water x 24 Glass Bottles - £1.99 @ Farmfoods (found Cumbernauld)£1.99FarmFoods Deals
24 glass bottles of Schweppes Slimline Tonic water for £1.99 in Farmfoods
Ah I see - must confess I'd only read the title. I don't see the necessity of making the deal specifically for 24 cans though, as the 20% voucher still works for me when just ordering one 6-pack. Could be an account specific thing though. Comes to £1.62 for me with 15% S&S discount, so excellent deal - but think I will still resist and stick to Waitrose own tonic, which is 60p for a litre and seems to be cheapest widely available tonic with no horrid sweeteners of any kind.
As before: Don't go for the 24. Do 4 x 6 pack, as per original info
The Pomelo flavour is the best imo and also 20% off for the crate of 24 bottle
It's not for me. It's not really pure tonic water - they have made it a "gin flavour" tonic water; by adding juniper flavouring to it. I think this mixes poorly with all three different gins I tried it with - juniper flavour water with juniper flavour spirit? I love London gin with loads of juniper but I'd rather have a juniper-full gin with plain tonic than add this. I didn't try it with anything else but it could be okay with other spirits.
Schweppes is now horrid though since they started putting artificial sweetener in it, might as well buy supermarket value tonic that's even cheaper.
Update on this, I got some on same day delivery and just tried it. It tastes of grapefruit! Fine if you like that but better paired with vodka I would say... Will be sticking to fever tree to go with the Bombay Sapphire.
I accept that I have neither seen nor tried this one but I have paid over the odds to try other 'premium' brands and have been disappointed. My point was that, even discounted, it's still expensive.
Ingredients look to have more sugar in the Schweppes one and artificial sweeteners. London Essence - Sparkling Water, Pure Fructose, Flavourings (Natural Citrus Flavourings, Natural Flavouring, Juniper Distillate, Quinine), Acid (Citric Acid) Schweppes - Carbonated Water, Sugar, Citric Acid, Natural Flavourings including Quinine, Sweetener (Sodium Saccharin)

Ocean 🌊 🌊 🌊 Thanks so much. I went in today. No sign of last week's pots and pans, but I did get a jumper and a Japanese pumpkin (which seems to only be sold at Lidl these days).

Thanks, I hope it's around for a while too. :) . The Hibiscus compares well with the Merchants Heart Hibiscus tonic I bought from Heron Foods a couple of months ago. BTW, I tried the Cucumber tonic last night - and I won't be buying again! (I'll try the rest mixed with Pimms and lemonade)
Tried both tonight. Lovely tonic water. Hope this isn't a one off. Think this is preferable to the flavoured gin I've tried which is OK but this is better in a G&T imo
Don't know about the cucumber tonic, but the Hibiscus is lovely i.m.o.. Different tastes and likes .... :)
These are only worth pouring down the drain, vile
I got them this weekend , and doesn't suggest them tbh, they taste horrible, the cucumber one it was absolute yuk
