that's a risk you took there - perhaps £5.01 x 4 (£20.04 over 4 months) wouldn't have left you nearly as riled if declined, particularly as you get the insurance thrown in

World Lottery Club - Free lottery betting (worldwide) and £3.50 cashback, e.g. US Powerball £372M jackpot instead of the actual £175M

Not voting either way, but be aware that these types of companies usually pay out in the same manner as the US equivalent lottery, so they will deduct the equivalent of US taxes meaning that the jackpot is probably about 65% of the headline amount.

If you want in a lump sum you will also have a reduced payout on top of that like they do in the US, I think it is about 60% so the jackpot as a lump sum would end up being about £145m - obviously still great if you win but not quite as great as the headline suggests.

I also think (though I might be wrong) that this one says that jackpots over £50m are paid out as £10 up front and then 19 annual payments.

If it's a free bet with cashback then no harm done I guess, but just make sure you go in with your eyes open.

Thank you! Just taken it out myself. Had the same argument with the guy on cancellations when asking whom I was going to, "that deal does not exist, it must be with a third party". Annoyingly I've mistakenly allowed them to convert it to payg in order to transfer my number which I now realise will delay the transfer aww well.

I've received my new sim today for the 12GB £12 deal. Does billing begin from today or when I first insert it into a phone?

Agreed. Logged into the Three website you can't see this deal. Open a private browsing/incognito window and it appears indicating it's for new customers only. I also called Three customer retentions who in their opening spiel thanked me for my 5 years of loyal service but refused the acknowledge the existence of this deal at all.
Has anyone had any luck changing an existing contract to this one for £12 a month? I’ve called twice today, and they fail to acknowledge that the £12 a month contract exists, claiming it must be a third party offer and the best they could offer me was £15 a month.

The offer was £10 less than the operator when I cancelled who offered £58, but still £48.50 for Full House with 100mb BB and 2 boxes (one V6, one Tivo). I have declined the offer and they said the cancellation will go through and return mail boxes sent out to send back the kit. He wasn’t really negotiating, it was apparently the best he could do . Exactly, I have followed OLED for around 15months now and was gutted when they ran out of the 2016 lineup around the beginning of feb. Looks like history will repeat.
Also with inflation and cost of the £ the prices may go up some more.

Though it does seem that 2018 isn’t a huge leap. If it was a 55 I wanted, I would have bought by now. But the extra 1k for 65 inch is into expensive territory. I’m not in a rush as don’t have Sky 4k or a PS4 pro.

I currently have a Samsung 51 Plasma, so would have to be 65 or above to feel more of an upgrade.
Unless these drop another £1k (prob won’t happen) I guess it’s same again for me next year looking. I could throw caution to the wind but 2.5-3k for a Tv is a little too much
