Yes I did and I only ever had automated reply that someone would be in touch within 48 hours then another 3 days later asking me to let them know how good there customer service was, I never received a reply to that either lol. Whilst I never expected amazon speed delivery I would expect it within a couple of months especially when they still show the items as being in stock.

Except the 350z/370z and Infiniti's (Nissan equivalent of a Toyota Lexus) are still proper Japanese cars not the Renault (poo)

I'd go Denso first, Ngk 2nd,both great but go for iridiums

Even I use iridium plugs in my old cars, wouldn't be bothered with standard plugs anymore...Fit iridiums and forget about them lol.

Did anyone take up this offer? What car did you buy and what sort of deal?

These are all new 18 plates so will likely be consigned stock rather than pre reg stock. You can still get a good deal but probably not til the last weekend in march.

Majority of Toyota cars are fleet cars and they can be negotiated for a very low price compared to the retail prices you see... do your research and I’m sure a local dealer is able to drop thousands on the pre reg cars as they have a target to shift their cars, Toyota however, IMO isn’t as well made as it used to be, had a brand new company car for three years and it felt very cheap ... not worth the retail price imo.

This is a standard nationwide marketing campaign deal across many makes and dealers run at various time through the year

hard enough to find the prices of them new before this amazing deal!

Toyota Yaris Icon, 0% APR and £2500 scrappage discount - £11,995 @ Toyota
Found 15th Nov 2017Found 15th Nov 2017
I am thinking about this offer, I have checked most of the scrappage deals and I think this is the best one for now.

You are missing the 0% APR, can you get no interest payment over 3.5 years on drivethedeal as well?

You can buy this car from drive the deal , at the same price (11995)... Without scrapping your car .

Have a read of Honest John ( scrappage con) report... pretty much in all instances you can get a better discount by not using it Manufacturer 'scrappage deals' are actually nothing more than standard discounts and you can probably get a better discount anyway by buying via a good broker such as The only way a scrappage deal offers a genuine benefit over and above a discount is if it is supported with funding from the government. In other words, if the governemt gives you some of your taxes back if you scrap your old car and buy a new one.

I have just looked on the website and it appears to be the cash price after the scrappage discount.

In the vast majoity of cases it is, especially ICE cars like this one.

Not always. The recent Nissan leaf tekna deals were PCP and cheaper than any leaf lease.

Price is incorrect - unless you are a business and not paying the VAT, the total price is £6,227.44 or £129.74/net/month.

Yes - it is.

amazing deal. the more miles you do, you will save

I'm 2 years into having this as my current company car. I have 'touring sport'. Drives great but the CVT takes a while to get used to and as others have said its a very lazy car to drive. I get around 45mpg most days. (Which isn't bad for the route I take and the way I drive) 0-60 is pretty good, 0-30 is even better. (You often surprise a lot of people in the acceleration phase due to the lack of a gear change). The top speed is also much higher than the 108mph specified. On a track I had mine at over (indicated) 125mph. I chose mine as it had fairly low CO2 levels, but due to the BIK increases for company car owners, cars like these are becoming less attractive. The only 2 options if you want a half decent car and not give the tax man all your cash every month is either the BMW 330e or the Mercedes 350e. Both hybrids with 49 CO2. It's either that or get a van... Daz

Did not realise I wrote a reply instead of a normal post in the reply, but I like the picture :D

I make a comment about the list price and you rant about monthly payments.

Also is you look at how much a seven year old aygo sells for 1.5 to 2k then after four years the car only cost you about 800 a year if you sold it after four years

My whole point and deprecation on them is a lot lower

There will be much cheaper ways of getting a PCP on an AYGO/C1/108 out there...

Sorry, scratch all of my talk of £2000 - the GFV is over £4500, YIKES!

Not a great deal at all that Kevin, sorry to say. Paying £5200 for a 3 year old, old shape Aygo isn't that spectacular - cars depreciate in the region of 50% over the first 3 years (although admittedly, these small engined A segment cars do depreciate less than the bigger stuff). If the GFV on this car is only around £2000 (we don't know how much it is from the OP) then a total cost of £7500 for this is a far better deal.

Unfortunately French cars still suffer from poor build quality and poor resale value but I'm not too aware how reliable their engines are but you have to give them credit for some of their designs. Toyota are renowned for build quality and excellent engines, the hire one you drove must have been abused a lot.

ive 2 2012 turbo diesel astra sri and 2015 ford focus zetec

Really? Renault make engines for Mercedes and Nissan (1.5 dci) which are used in the A class and Note. I think they are leading in some area but I'm sure build quality has improved much. There loads with high mileages on autotrader so it more than capable. But if Toyota did a turbo version of that car then I'd defo go for it, but for an extra £1000 for: Start stop 0.9 Turbo 90 bhp rear engine rear wheel drive Part leather seats Cruise Control Speed limiter 5 Door 16" alloys Lane departure Sat nav via R and go All the way, don't get me wrong I've done a 460 mile trip in an aygo, build quality is good but that egine sounds like it was going to die. at idle the engine was very jurky and moving fro 0.4 to 0.8 for no reason. sounded like it was going to die lol.

Thank you, someone who understand the deal. The deal is to get your car serviced at Toyota for the price of a service from halfords or any other main retailer who is cheaper.

HALF-ords TWICE-fords would be a better name , worst place I've ever taken my car Tried to fail car (MOT) for brakes which they'd fitted at there old garage which they'd just moved from (HALIFAX BRANCH) and had lifetime guarantee and still in 12 month warrantee . So they reluctantly changed for "FREE" . And then said I needed to pay full price for MOT . OOOPS again I paid online pal half price . Cowboys if I've ever seen Customer service also dreadful they Not interested ,and then found out from friend they only changed drivers side brakes. He said should be done in pairs always

If it was the same money I would go for the i10 but only you can decide if you consider it worth the extra expense.

I think the Hyundai would be more practical. The new aygo is mechanically almost the same as the outgoing model. The engine is fine round town but soon runs out of puff on a roads and motorways.

reviews not good

Would this be as good as a Hyundai i10? I am still trying to decide on a small economical car to buy and the Hyundai has good reviews all round, but this does seem an excellent price.

Its not the atkinson cycle engine but bargain motoring none the less - 5 year warranty, no dealing with crappy vw dealers, no tax, cheap fuel, cheap servicing, cheap insurance. Depends where you live I guess, down south where the roads are congested all you need is an a-b car that you can leave anywhere plus something for the weekends.

business users only deal. private customers deal is expensive

Hello friends, this is a cracking deal as we are in process of ordering two cars. There's one thing I would like to mention is that in order to qualify for this deal you have to be a company director or be working for a company who qualify for VAT return. So not everyone able to buy on this price. Plus it's not getting delivered till march just for info.

Each funder has specific financial and operational criteria requirements for every type of service and price offered. Thats how they got round it. Annoyed and frustrated to say the leased ! Pun by the way.

Yep, me too. Just told them its very misleading.

Driveadeal isn't old stock, they quoting march delivery times so its a factory order. My dealer is a few hundred off this deal but I'm going with them. Keep this for 5 years as a run about then sell. I did the same with a C1, bargain motoring.

Yup most likely they'll give you a really crappy cash price on your p/x. Specially if your going with this deal...

One thing to note is the "cost to change" - if you are getting an amazing deal on your new car, you will likely be disappointed with what they offer - be realistic, you don't get a great price at both ends if you have a p/x to chop in.

Matters on the dealer they put you in touch with.

My POS did cost exactly £500 4 years ago. I measure the economy at 49mpg and 42 mpg if i drive it hard for that particular tank. I have spent on average £150 per year on repairs (including mot fees) Road tax is £110 this year. I'm going to retire it soon because i bumped it and the windscreen is cracked so i will still get minimum £100 in scrap value. Can anyone flash the maths at me any tell me why a new car will work out better?

We get about 53mpg on mostly short runs in the Yaris. I agree that Toyota's algorithm for using EV mode and charging the battery isn't the best. I can set off on battery then sit at traffic lights but if the battery is low the engine kicks in to charge it. Why not wait until I'm moving anyway?

I have this as a company car (albeit the touring sports - although not sure where they got the sports part from). Normal day to day driving you are more likely to get 45-55mpg (with 17" wheels) The EV mode doesn't like engaging when cold, so if you do lots of short journeys your mpg will suffer badly. Mpg also isn't great for lots of motorway miles as the EV doesn't work at all over 45 mph so you are just carrying around the weight of the batteries. Generally it's a pretty good car, quite pokey when pushed. Good when you stick your foot down at the lights and your neck and neck with someone because as soon as they change gear you've done them as the Auris has just 1 gear (CVT).

Have the Yaris Hybrid on a 3 year PCP deal for £220 so this is very good value. Wouldn't hesitate if this deal is around when the Yaris goes back.

Still only 10% more, basically £500 more off than a lexus deal, be interesting to see whether depreciation closes the gap. Only thing against lexus is their rather crappy 3 year warranty when you'll get 5 in a toyota now. Wish I had 5 years when I bought my IQ (only came with 3 in 2009), toyota Derby charged me nearly £450 to change a faulty airbag last week.

DriveTheDeal offering £4k off the Auris, making it £19800.

The 2014 lexus ct is nicer, and not that much more if you compare top end auris vs lux spec ct. For example the auris excel with leather and sat nav is a touch under £24k mrp, a luxury spec ct with nav is £25500, less than 10% more. Drivethedeal will give you £3500 off the lexus making it £22k.
