What are these like against the icandy peach or the Nuna savi ? Is the price difference worth it?

colourpie

(skeptical) I think Mimlloyd probably has the "Joie Aire" which I have too. Our three year old still goes out in it, it has lasted very well. The wife thought I was being cheap (which I was) and that it would break within months (which it didn't). To be fair the handle broke a tiny bit but it was easy to shore up.

Mimlloyd

I bought a very similar Joie travel system 3 years ago. Mine also came with a rain cover but I paid more - £75. It's been great value and used for 2 grandchildren and is still going strong. Great value for money.

Delio79

Heat added! £64 for both a pushchair and Car seat by a well known brand is truly a bargain! Not a Bugaboo, Quinney or some other luxurious travel system, but you do have to question whats the value of those expensive and huge pushchairs.

splender

Use by a human system, transferring the baby system from one system to another system on the road system.

Think it depends how it’s used. I use it casually not daily and have had no problems :) if it’s for daily use I’d invest a bit more for a better pram

EdinburghShop85

Great price but the reviews on amazon aren't great

xfaz123.

Yes I thought the same however their customer service is fantastic

xfaz123.

Till 9kg, my little one is nearly five months old and is still very comfortable in the seat :) probably will upgrade to a bigger seat when he’s around 7-8 months old and sitting up himself

rambo_69

Good price but lots of reviews online complaining about wheel issues.

Smyths have it reduced from £129 to £109 .... seems the original price is inflated https://www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/baby/travel-systems/graco-literider-travel-system-black-and-red/p/163672

I had this and it was really good. Car seat is fixed in with seatbelt but nice and sturdy. My sister also had one and she too loved it. Hers was Whinnie the pooh though. Looked really nice.

SClub

We had a Baby style Oyster system for our first two children, but it fell to bits. Have been successfully using an Outnabout little nipper since, which lies flat. We've also purchased the infant insert (£25), Maxi Cosi car seat adapters (£15 used on eBay) and a Maxi Cosi Pebble car seat (£130ish). Really like the Outnabout buggy, and have the double as well.

debsallen

I’d recommend finding a pushchair/baby shop and testing a few out, seeing how small they fold, how they handle, if they will fit in your boot etc! That way you can go online and find th best deals for the perfect one! Good luck :)

steveieboy1

Go for a 2nd hand one. We got a used Uppababy Vista for £280 and it would have been over 1k new with all the bits and we need two seats and don't want a double. Having tried loads of pushchairs with our first child we wish we'd have paid a bit more to start with. We got a Maxi Cosi car seat and pushchair when on offer and sold the pushchair so got a cheap car seat, the Isofix base was daily deals x2.

KittyKate

Didnt't like the Hauck we had from Aldi. Terrible wheels and non existent suspension. Poor baby was thrown about like a rag doll and my hands were still shaking an hour after using it! Went back to the iCandy (which is in 2 parts so not quite as handy but a lovely smooth ride). You do get what you pay for with pushchairs.

andreah903

The details are all on the Joie website. joiebaby.com/product/mirus/ The handle reverses, so yes the pram can be parent facing. However I’ve read reviews that say it’s then quite hard to push/steer because the wheels are the ‘wrong’ way round. You’d have to lock the front wheels (which would now be the back wheels if you have reversed the handle) and the other set of wheels which would now be at the front of the pram don’t swivel at all.

allusiveorc

Does anybody know if this can be reclined completely flat? Also, can the seat be turned so it's parent facing?

This is a lovely pram suitable from birth and great if you have a small car. Thanks for posting this deal!

MrWani

The Oyster is extremely robust, we purchased ours 7 years ago and it still feels new. At the time I remember comparing it to icandy systems and feeling it was as well made for less money. Can't comment on the Joie other than the design looks incredibly similar. Good access to the storage was a big plus for us avoiding waking a sleeping baby.

neilied

If you specifically want one ok, but for less there are far better choices from mothercare, joie, mamas papas. Joie chrome complete set is £250 and its currently £50 for the isofix base

Or the kid is too big for the harness. Usually by the time they are an independent walking toddler you will have a lightweight stroller to push along in between "rests". Travel systems for winter babies you make the most use of to 18 months as it's a cozier buggy or to around a year for a summer baby. Once they have outgrown the car seat it hasn't the same advantages. I certainly wouldn't worry about the max age. They will be running around by age 3

jdRiggs

No it wouldn't put me off buying it, just takes more effort to push along uneven paths.

debosw86

I have this pram. It's great as the hood does goe quite far round at the front which was great during summer

Faisal05

Up until the child is 3.5 years old or weighs 15kg whichever comes first I guess.
