Brilliant deal by Cosatto on their Koochi range, 49% off. Not many include the isofix base so it's a steal.

I ordered a mama and papa pram from there on pre order. And it never turned up and no contact made to return my money or to re arrange delivery instead i chased them up only to find that they aparently attempted delivery to my house on a different delivery date which i was unaware of and said i refused it. Which was odd as my cctv did not show anyone attempting to deliver. No proof shown either of delivery made. In the end i gave up ordering another pram off them or any other branded item purely because lack of communication made on their behalf and i lost trust.

I’ve ordered my Moses basket great service but don’t know about return

Saw a few reviews on youtube, quite sturdy, apparently they are selling it on a lower price to get the stock out before they launch 2019 model

salmon89

DO NOT GET, unless you're sure about it. Bought this from Kiddies Kingdom last year, and the build quality is insanely poor. It looks nice, but even after being sent out multiple replacement parts, the transition from car seat to buggy remained so stiff that we requested a replacement. But no luck.

When you're in a hurry in the lashing rain or you're in and out with baby a lot during the day the base is really handy, I can strap him in with seatbelt no problem but clicking into base is so much easier and faster.

alexlea88

Yeah, I’m just tight! Didn’t want to fall into the trap of just buying everything so held off and didn’t need it in the end. Personal preference though!

Aliwoo18

Whilst it's not a deal breaker, bases are handy in my opinion - when you're in a hurry (e.g. it's lashing down with rain) it's much easier to just clip in/out, plus providing you fit the base correctly in the first place it eliminates the risk of getting it wrong/not tight enough etc. I've found it particularly handy with our second child as we have a 3 year old and newborn (plus associated luggage) to get in and out (and by necessity one of them has to be on the driver's side). As alexlea88 said, you can cope without (and some seats are quicker/easier to belt in than others), but if I had the choice of one with a base for a little more money I'd go for it (it didn't factor into our original choice of seat as we bought a travel system package but I've subsequently bought a base for both cars, I was lucky enough to pick two up for around the standard price for one - definitely for convenience rather than out of necessity).

Nayno

Nice. We had a 13hour flight. When we looked around for ours we where specifically looking for one to adapt to our pushchair and worked out expensive. £35 is no brainer. Great if you have other nuna stuff. Be careful lugging it around with suitcases and hand luggages. The travel one we bought was ideal as we took it as hand luggage and was light meaning only his baby bag and the car seat to take on-board. Was a handful at times with the suitcases but the trolleys came handy. Good luck and enjoy.

golo83

I’m looking at the nuna juva whjch is £35 and airplane approved. Might get that as got a long haul trip to visit family coming up.

Makes those brands that sell £1000 baby systems look like wannabe Apple clones. Used Huack myself, not the fanciest, but sturdy and hard wearing; bought 2nd hand, used for 3 years and donated back to the Church-run baby store we bought it from. Another Huack, that used to be for my son (now nearly 27), was still in daily use at our nursery school when we sold up; it may still be there and looking as good as new.

Unsure how long this offer is on for. Couldn’t find it any cheaper.
jdRiggs

it's odd isn't it! on m&p own site the difference in cost between the non Isize cybex car seat the the isize one is £10. For £15 more they have the isize maxi cosi rock. (cabriofix update) . Maybe it's a way of flogging older stock?

chrissyny

You make a fair point. I wonder why that is. I had to buy the Urbo2 pram and carry cot separately because I wanted the Pebble a d Family fix. Alway a assumed it was a cost thing

jdRiggs

The pebble plus with base in blue is on offer for £250 at the moment. http://www.pramworld.co.uk/maxi-cosi-pebble-plus-2wayfixbase-package-watercolour-blue?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIipix48fZ3wIVQrDtCh1rfwbwEAQYBCABEgIBAPD_BwE#fo_c=743&fo_k=48007522cd8933a420e9d46d01490c25&fo_s=gplauk The cabriofix and base is generally £199 anyway. It's not much extra but the pebble plus seat can be used for longer, passes stricter crash tests and the base can be reused with the next size seat the two way pearl.

jdRiggs

The bundle without the car seat. Thanks! The pushchair adapters for the maxi cosi seat are the same for besafe, Cybex and joie at least possibly other brands too. Great option for anyone looking to add an Isize seat for a bit extra. They all do one :)

chrissyny

But the cost for the isize base and seat is no less than £275. In fact the older pebble and family fit goes for £200 on a very good day. Good price for the set though.

Hit and miss. I find that calling them after they reject the claim is the best way to sort out the refunds.

pototea

I know this is an old thread but it still exisits so not sure why it is expired. I'm finding that every single request is being rejected by TFL for legitimate journey delays and I'm having to email them again. It's not as though I make a lot of claims - less than 5 per year and I use the tube daily. Is anyone else getting a lot of rejects too?

ohdearohdear

Has nothing to do with him, he's pretty useless, these guys are separate from tfl, and the refund policy has been around before him. Tfl should run the automatic refund but they rather steal your money.

Just another gift from Uncle Sadiq ;)

Thanks again xx

laurieleigh

Our 3 are all summer babies so we didn't really need one (bought one for eldest but only used for first few weeks and then for naps in the house)... I think if I had a baby born when it was chillier I could see it getting more use though.

meem

Thanks for the detailed reply, much needed guidance, we are having a second one after 8yrs gap so pretty clueless what to go for, we also had a Britax with the first one, still going strong but want a new one now. Do you recommend carrycot or do they grow out of it too quick?

laurieleigh

I bought similar when pregnant with my first... took it out of box, had a look and returned it. I found it really flimsy - you definitely get what you pay for in this instance! Plus after researching a bit more into car seats I wouldn't have been happy putting my baby in such a basic car seat. We went with cabriofix and oyster travel system in the end (then britax bdual and then baby jogger city mini for number 3!). Choose the car seat you want and get a pushchair that works with it. Mothercare have got some great money saving bundles at the moment.
