Thanks again xx

Our 3 are all summer babies so we didn't really need one (bought one for eldest but only used for first few weeks and then for naps in the house)... I think if I had a baby born when it was chillier I could see it getting more use though.

Thanks for the detailed reply, much needed guidance, we are having a second one after 8yrs gap so pretty clueless what to go for, we also had a Britax with the first one, still going strong but want a new one now. Do you recommend carrycot or do they grow out of it too quick?

I bought similar when pregnant with my first... took it out of box, had a look and returned it. I found it really flimsy - you definitely get what you pay for in this instance! Plus after researching a bit more into car seats I wouldn't have been happy putting my baby in such a basic car seat. We went with cabriofix and oyster travel system in the end (then britax bdual and then baby jogger city mini for number 3!). Choose the car seat you want and get a pushchair that works with it. Mothercare have got some great money saving bundles at the moment.

Is this good?

Quantum travel? Doesn't that mean you don't actually have to go anywhere, because you'll be there already anyway?

Joie chrome foggy travel system - £299.98 @ Smyths Toys
Found 13th NovFound 13th Nov
Usually retails close to £400. So a bargain, about 2-3 in stock in most stores at the time of posting.

I have one (different colour). They are very good and very reliable. Definitely NOT lightweight though - be warned! The carrycot is great, but my baby was very lively and insisted on constantly spreading his arms (like a snow angel), so I only got a couple of weeks out of it (as the sides annoyed him). The carrycot does fit nicely onto the pushchair and I would recommend this set. (y) (y) (y)

The additional info states carry cot, car seat and isofix base sold separately. Actually it's only the iaofix base which is sold separately carrycot and car seat are part of the bundle.

Looks like the Graco lite rider where I paid £67.99 from Argos. No isofix for the car seat but at this price level I didn’t expect it to have.

Hot that price :D

Voted hot XD

Had the top one for 3 years (I'm sure it was called Aire pushchair and Gemm baby carrier..), it's great. Recommend keeping an eye on eBay for a cheap seatbelt/isofix base for the baby carrier, it's great just dropping it on with a "click" and not faffing about with seatbelts...

Tempting price. Reviews on amazon for it are very mixed though. Think I'm going to hold off and not order even though I was initially tempted.

Just received one and returning. Too much movement in the carrycot. Not very stable. As well a couple of buttons don't click into place. Suprised to see all the straps in the bottom of carrycot and unable remove them.

I m thinking of buying it. What’s the issue in this travel system according to you?

What s wrong with it? I want to buy it as a gift for some friends..

I had it and tbh I wouldn't buy it again.

Thank you for your feedback, a great help (y)

We’ve recently had our second child, have a 2 ½ year old already. We didn’t like the double buggies that Cosatto had on offer so we bought a second hand Bugaboo Donkey, that goes from a single to a double. We had to wave goodbye to our Giggle 2 Pixellate which we were really sad about. Anyway, on subject. We picked the Cosatto for our first after about 3 months of trying out other travel systems in shops; John Lewis, Mothercare etc. The iCandy and Bugaboo stuff is so overpriced, the Mothercare stuff was fine but we felt the Cosatto was by far the best looking and easiest to use for the money. And it came with a 5 year guarantee. Whilst there were a few things that could have been improved (like being able to remove the hood fabric for washing), generally, it was a solid well performing setup. Now we have the Bugaboo, I can honestly say that I’d pick a Cosatto over one of those any day of the week. It’s sturdier, the fabrics don’t fade, easy to fold away, easy to put up etc. So, if we had to do it all again, Cosatto could have my money all over again. The only thing I would recommend is an Isofix base. No, they aren’t a necessity, but man, when it’s pouring with rain, being able to just chuck the car seat into a pair of clips is far easier than faffing around trying to get a seatbelt into clips and positioned! Sorry, long response but I hope it’s been useful!

We picked this one but got it for £400. Not sure how much longer it's on for but while it's on offer we went to one of the baby events and get an extra 10% off

I understand but personally I couldn't justify the difference but that's just my personal opinion

Not everyone wants a second hand pushchair though
