Ok so strange question here but has anyone else found the water bottle pretty useless? Picked mine up at the weekend and it literally dribbles out... I've resorted to removing the lid to drink from it!

Contemplating taking it back but would be good to know if anyone else is having this issue?
Thanks, the SatNav case will come in very useful!

Seen these in TK Maxx. Usually price around £5-8 range.

Same the big one too
I buy them because they don't leak. They have a lifetime guarantee and Camelbak will send you a new one. I lost a straw and they sent me a replacement free of charge. Great price - bought a 0.75L from Wiggle only a week or so ago for £13.99.

I've been through half a dozen Cabelbak bottles over past 10 years. Each time i give them the benefit of the doubt, but the same thing keeps happening, it leaks. The seal ends up going and the bite valves and straw can become dirty. Unfortunately replacement lids and valves etc cost just the same as a new bottle. I eventually switched to a Contigo bottle and have never been happier.

Can you add cordial to these?!

Strictly speaking no you cannot. It'll mess up the filter. I've got 6 odd bobble bottles and with these type all I do is take off the filter holder and use it as a standard bottle. That way add any drink you want. Hope that helps.

Probably not, unless you remove the filter

I thought it would be a bit small too gazdoubleu but when I got one it actually holds a lot more than I thought it would (bigger one is too large for me to take to the office) and what I really like is that it has 3 different lids unlike most the other bottles with it so good for gym with the straw lid and then the coffee lid which I use most the time. Not fussed on the metal lid as never use that one though.
Would be good for me for the gym if it held more. 18oz is just over 500ml. This amazon.co.uk/gp/…rch hasn't got all the different tops but holds way more, is cheaper and has great reviews

Rough idea surely?

It's not the poor accuracy that is the issue. It is the sheer inconsistency due to constantly changing external variables such as hydration levels. So unless you have some magical measuring gauge which tells you when you have exactly the same hydration level as your last reading, then these sort of scales are totally pointless (other than for measuring weight!)

I can only speak from experience of the regular fill and go so If the filters are the same size then 2 weeks of daily use is fine. 20L is the recommended usage.

There is a pool of stagment water that collects under the filter. The 3.5l size is misleading, there is 1.5l capacity of filtered water and 1.5l of NON-filtered water, so you need to fill it full and let it all filter, then fill it with another 1.5l that sits in the unfiltered section whilst you use the filtered section BUT if you do this when you pour both the filtered and unfiltered water spills out.I have since bought an aqua optima (compatible with the maxtra cartridge) which despite being 1/3 of the cost is much superior. The cartridges are significantly cheaper too - available in home bargains (4.99 jug and £6 for 3 cartridges).
