These are great for wearing while in VR. Gives your legs a good workout. also good for boosting body weight fitness routines (chin ups, dips, etc. Sit ups become quite a lot harder though!)

But yeah don't wear these out the house over your clothes. Put a large t-shirt or a jumper over it otherwise you will get some terrified looks.

I'm 65KG so adding 20KG (which is what my vest holds) makes a massive difference during day to day activities. It also made me look built like Thor.
Will it stop bullets?

Your save money time. I am speaking from experience. My father had these. I was benching the lot, with in no time. That includes all the dumbbell weight as well on the bar.

Fair point, but there are plenty of people who just need a set to enable them to get a little muscle definition. This set is perfect for that. Maybe they are aerobic based, rather than being a pure natural lifter who never runs. Or perhaps they are limited by genetics and don’t move beyond these weights. Again, that’s fine.

As far as lifting heavier goes, there’s always a time when you’d wish to add 10-20kg to your bar, so I’d say they are useful going forward. Horses for courses basically isn’t it?

If I didn't eat for 16 hours I'd kill someone. Personally what works/has worked for me is having a large breakfast early in the morning, usually consisting of high quality protein like eggs, beans with wholegrain bread and bacon (yes bacon). I then have a relatively light lunch and ensure my evening meal after I work out is balanced. I then exercise 4-5 times a week - sessions include weights that focus on compound movements to work as many muscle groups as possible and high intensity interval training mixed in with low-level but protracted cardio. Oh and don't drink a lot of alcohol. If you do that consistently you'll lose weight.

Its been 10 months for me. Everyone has their different reasons. I love meat, love the taste, but to me, I just can't eat it knowing how it ends up on my plate, not only that but the bigger impact it has on the world we live in.
So when some company make a food which isn't meat or diary but tastes like the real thing, why do so many think this is wrong, on both sides, personally i think its great for those who simply will never give up the taste of meat, this is one way, its also a great way to change diet but still feel like its not that big of a change and gives you chance to learn more.

For anyone new to the diet, esp at the 2-8 weeks, not only do you notice a huge difference but you must be farting and going number 2s a lot. Don't worry this is normal, your body is adjusting and getting rid of a lot of toxins.
I have colitis and honestly feel like I don't have it, I still get the gotta go now moments but its not painful anymore during the day. I was in so much pain, quitting my job helped a lot as the stress just vanished.
It's pretty easy to lose weight whilst eating vegan, when you prepare all your meals from scratch most of the time you aren't adding sugars to everything.

It's the healthiest way to live.

They sell a lighter set for your arms if you want the product code
As a woman I would happily use the 2kg and 4kg for certain exercises, if you are new to lifting weights it's important to understand that the weight values vary wildly depending on the exercise you are doing, and form and technique are far more important than picking up the heaviest thing you can lift. Ego lifting is the fastest way to give yourself a lifelong injury- just head over to any fitness forum to see just how many people have ruined backs/knees/shoulders from stupid mistakes they made when they were starting out.

This video demonstrates how 35x world bodybuilding champion Moji does lateral raises with just 4kgs, and he gives a nice explanation as to why lifting too heavy will impede your results. All his vids are excellent btw.

Note: I'm not sure I would 100% recommend the above dumbbells for a beginner due to them being both bulky and round (I have some round ones and they roll everywhere ). Argos also has various hex dumbells on sale, which I think would be nicer to use in the long run.

£1 per kg is a good price for cast iron, not vinyl.
I had a collection of these weights for my home gym, before I upgraded everything to cast iron discs.

These a pretty decent to start out with, but eat up the space on a standard barbell quite quickly due to the thickness of the plates. Can’t fault the quality though.

I stupidly ended up carrying these from the desk at Argos to the boot of my car, all 60kg of them. Needless to say I was knackered before I reached the exit due to the size and weight

Just to let anyone know that the weight limit for the barbell is 60kg which is not the best. Good job I held off.

Yes that's correct but you can get york dumbbells for roughly the same price so I left getting the aldi one's last week.

Also what I was wondering in my first post was that if the weight plates would fit a york barbell for example (without being loose or not fitting) or something else rather than crane's own stuff. That's what I meant when I said 'how generic the circumference of the hole in the weight plates is'. If so it might be worth getting the weight plates from aldi while they have them in stock seeing as the price is very good.

Ah, insults... the last act of a desperate man.

I have used gloves, previously. For many years I did so, in-fact. This sort of stuff will hinder, and end up putting people of certain parts of exercising and weightlifting.

My facts would be research, as well as trial and error. I suggest you do it before you mouth off pal, you won’t look like such a wally then.

The gloves in this post don not provide grip. They are meant to ‘protect’ the hand (although that is massively subjective).Thats fact.

They will not provide wrist support. This is also fact.

I haven’t said anything to suggest I have broken any deadlifting records. That is also fact.

I’m bored stating facts. Best I go back to the gym, eat loads of meat, inject loads of juice and make myself feel like I am macho, eh?

Not as easy as it looks, who are you trying to kid? It is spectacularly …Not as easy as it looks, who are you trying to kid? It is spectacularly easy. No need to try and be all superior and assume that people only got bored because they couldn't do it. After seeing how it works (2-5mins), opening the lock (another 2-5mins) there really isn't much else going on. So after roughly 10mins of entertainment it is just another HUKD dust catcher. This is fine as long as people expect that, but don't try and market it as being a great journey of lock picking discovery. You can learn considerably more by watching a 90 second Youtube video on locks.

This set was the start of my lock picking journey, so yes it can be. It's very cheap, so if someone doesn't like it that's fine.

Sub 30 mins of having the set I could pick every pin type lock in the house, it's shockingly easy. I then upgraded our house locks to ABS.

Useful? Yes. Farther in law lost the key to his small safe, standard Yale type lock. Locksmith wanted £80 to open it, took me 20s with this very set. That's a money saver!

If you're a burglar, a brick, lake of pliers or bump key is easier. Picking is more about craft/technique.
