They also paid prize money to the players, which was a lifeline for the lower ranked competitors.
I'd hope they did they were paid out fully by their insurance due to the covid policy they took out. They were the only event/company I've heard of that were paid out. I see they've still got some for sale tho
bit embarrassing this
I wonder how the frozen strawberries are doing ?

Check your junk mail folders folks, my order of the mens towels was cancelled as was a mates. The order confirmation came through to Inbox, but the cancellation went to junk. The ladies ones are OK, but they've offered 50% off the full price of the mens 2019 ones as an apology.
Bugger it, missed out.
2019 should be available around Oct/Nov.
I see. Yes, Wimbledon has different coloured towels for players depending on if they are Men and Women. I expect this is mostly a commercial decision.
Not me, I am more offended by PC itself, I just didn't understand the need for different coloured towels.
Anybody managed to get working on the fire stick 4K, how do you select?

Mine arrived today with a 4 piece espresso set in nice presentation box
Had this on site when first posted. Perhaps they have now run out as they have changed the wording with the picture now
Been on the site but where does it say a free espresso cup to celebrate their association with Wimbledon ? I normally order direct from Lavazza but I can only see the part that says 15% off everything, but no free cup ?
Great thanks for the update. Is there a link I can request access? Happy to PM you for more details.
Hi all, RE: Group It worked really well overall with more tickets available then the year before, especially near the end things seemed to be running smooth with lots of tickets available but had issues with a) People joining and not contributing/saying anything at all - now all booted b) People not following the rules c) People not trying for others which is the huge bug bear of mine and everyone. d) People getting tickets then just leaving - this was very very rare though. e) People who wanted an invite but surprisingly when invites were closed until after the final they have ghosted. If people are keen I don't see no reason why a few people (and I mean a few max 5-10 people) cannot join but be aware it is a collaborative effort and requires everyone to help/try for each other. The group will not be mentioned next year at all either as it currently has a good ratio and group of people in and when full of random people from here, it is unmanageable whereas referrals from existing members will work much better as they know the rules and can vouch for them. Don't want to ruin a good thing. People need to be aware though it is not the answer for I never get tickets this will 100% succeed - this is not the case. If you don't put the effort in yourself and try for others and be the first on you still won't and will not get any success.
I was pretty devastated as well, but I would still have liked to go to watch that live. I was there for the first final between them and although he lost I don't regret going.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing. As a huge Roger fan I would have been heartbroken to have witnessed that in person on Centre Court, so glad I didn't end up getting tickets for the final(!)
The envelope at the ticket office didn't have my name on it. I believe I got some random tickets - even though I bought the tickets from the Returns, the seats were in the last 3 rows like other Reserved seating tickets. The view was great regardless, but I was hoping to get something closer to the court.

Good gesture. You see many poor people begging in front of Wimbledon Station these days. There is this big fat bloke who sits besides Greggs who has been asking change for the past 3 years. I stopped giving him money when I saw he smokes fags.
It is a lovely pub. I recommend
The irony of your name. A person only a mother could love.
Compassionate. Next time I'm in Wimbledon, i'll make sure to pop in to here for a few drinks, gestures like this deserve custom

"You'll never run out of balls with this fantastic pack." >.o
Mine don't bounge
Or normal tennis balls for bigger dogs... Or any sized tennis ball for any size dog if the ball breaks up which cheap balls do. Smaller balls would logically be the biggest problem, but that doesn't mean others won't be. Especially when you have big dogs who are powerful chewers.
Yes it is true but it's the half size ones for smaller dogs that are the killers
DivideByZero: No, normal tennis balls as that was what I was playing with my 2 GSDs at the time with. Squeaky ones are apparently easier to remove if they do get stuck in the throat, normal ones just get pushed down further the more you try and get them out apparently. I guess it would depend on the size of the dog if it would get stuck in the first place. It's not like the dog will actively try and swallow it, but if a catch goes wrong and the dog is big enough... After that, I moved to footballs which they loved. Not sure how visible this will be due resize, but you can see the left canine is worn flat. Multiple vets all said that was almost certainly tennis ball related. (not a great pic, couple of days before he lost the battle to cancer). [image] The white dog used to be able to fit 3 tennis balls in her mouth (so the black dog couldn't get them). I'd say there would be a reasonable chance that she could have swallowed one. Fortunately that never happened here though. Nice dogs, my dog only seems to love squeaky balls (sized small because i think it's easier on his jaws since he isnt huge) so I hope this doesn't happen ever Get a app on your phone called 'Pet First Aid' and other called 'Dog Care Encyclopedia' They seem life saving for emergency since not many know how..oh for humans get 'St John's Ambulance first aid' The 3 apps are worth keeping on your phone for just in case scenarios
Also outside asda Birkenhead Wirral giving out the blackcurrant 500ml bottles plus a 50p off voucher on your next purchase.
Didn't know Ribena was owned by Japanese now
And 0.000001% Vitamin C enough to say with Vitamin C
Well let's hope their greed results in huge profit losses. I used to buy this stuff by the boat load, but now would only use it to unblock my sink. If they eventually go back to making it taste like blackcurrant, my love affair would be reignited
To be clear, the tax isn't the problem here - all that should change is the price. The problem is the greedy manufacturers, making the product cheaper to try and boost their profits.
