O Oh Blimey. I had a free Wuntu from Valerie Patisserie yesterday. Based on your analysis, I may turn into a cup-cake!

Everyone has something to hide... You don't pin your bank statements to front windows or put Web cam in toilet.. I do question how much you can keep your data secure even with this software. I think you need to go all in or not bother hiding your data, and I can't be bothered to put in the effort to hide mine

Yeah I saw this too, but from what I understand the GOW1 remake is an absolute mess on PC so decided to leave it out.

Great deal, needs better linking though.

It's gone up a bit now, comes to £37.04 with the discount code.

You're spouting nonsense!! Nothing's wrong with stating the obvious, ie it'll be cheaper long after release, but you're fabricating ludicrous amounts suggesting the "Complete package" will be about £200...... What package is this then exactly??? The main package is the Ultimate edition, which can be had from CD leys for under £70 with their 5 % discount code. This is the complete package as includes the VIP pass, Car pass for all the DLC packs, and even includes the 2 expansion packs whenever they are launched..... that's it. Normally the only car dlc that sometimes falls outside of the car pass is I think the Porsche pack when they've been separate in the past due to licensing issues.

Run a bit slower vs FH3 for me (that was solid 90+ on my rig), but given the beta test is exactly that... and without optimised driver support.... pretty impressed. Made a benchmark video too.

Apparently they model whatever car they can get their hands on, that's why you get a mix of left and right hand drive, but yeah it's confusing. I can't imagine it would be that difficult to do it properly, making cars that were available over here RHD whilst keeping Lancias etc. LHD.

20 plus PC games support HDR, and that is assuming you got a extremely beefy hardware to run the PC versions at 4k with HDR on, and a pascal GTX don't cut the mustard, and that is the problem with HDR on the PC, it cost wayyyyy too much to impliment a feature hardly anyone can use, and i doubt joe public will be rushing out to buy a i7 core, 1080 min and 16 gig or memory just to run Ark, and even moreso when they could buy a HDR ready console that plays 4k HDR disc's and a big ass HDR 4k tv all for what those few PC components now cost you. lol

I think so people don't know how to enable HDR Maybe...

Guess I'm one of the lucky ones, HDR works great on Win10 for me. A lot of recently released games on PC have HDR support and most of the big AAA upcoming titles have HDR support on PC also

Being able to do HDR and nobody supporting it still means no HDR on pc, and w10 hdr is broken, even with my 43in 4k hdr tv hooked up to it the hdr is a mess and broken, and let's be honest here, 4k and hdr woukd be wasted on a small 27 in pc monitor, who would want to play on such a small screen at such a res never mind watch 4k hdr movies on it. Oh and before you ask i use a 43in 4k hdr tv for as my pc monitor these days and i could never go back, why would i.

MS Windows/Apple OSX and Linux/SteamOS operating system support.

I bought the game for £5 a couple years ago, quite weird it hasn't dropped below that after all that time.

Arrived today and in great condition, small marks on the side, but lid and rest seems in nearly perfect condition. Hope the rest are as lucky!

Yep, It's not worth upgrading, I've paid a lot in the past for maxing out a pga socketed laptop and an SSD is always the better option for improving performance.

Yep, the i7-35xxM will be at most 10% faster.

I still use the i3-4170 in my desktop. Its a beast for non gaming.

You're only strengthening my point here - £190 for a 3 year warranty. Get a grip man.

I'm so stupid I headed over to partpicker to do it myself. I chose the cheapest supplier for each part, didn't overspec on anything (e.g. no fancy cooling, cheapest Aerocool case with a side window, bronze 80+ PSU) and it comes to £955.92 including shipping. Call it £960 when you've added a W10 key on from eBay. That's a difference of £189.99. And you still have to build it/get someone to build it (which may incur a cost) and you don't get a "3 Year MendIT Warranty to include All Parts / Labour / Collect and Return Costs." Part Picker

Steve, spec a PC the same as this one with comparable parts (not cheap nasty cases for example), don't miss any parts off this time, use todays prices, and include any postage costs (yes, places like Scan for example do charge postage). Because so far you've failed to include the cost of everything, comparable, in a single post to prove this is a) a bad deal and b) I'm stupid. And again, raw cost does not take into account that buying pre- built adds it's own value. This might not be for you, you might be happy to wait for sales and build your own, but that does not make this a bad deal. And that 1080 PC in the other thread isn't all that. The mobo/ram don't look great, it's only got 8GB of RAM and no SSD.

Again, not arguing that self build is cheaper, obviously it will be.

It's already been proven in the comments of that build that a self-build with similar specs would be £1050. There is also no need to upgrade the PSU. Many top end rigs will only use 650 BR PSU.

You can still play 4k videos on a 1080p screen. Obviously they aren't 4k resolution. I wanted to know if the cpu would run it, just out of interest. Fan is virtually silent. Who cares about wattage.. the laptop has 9-10 hours battery life, that's the main thing. The laptop your referencing is 60% more expensive than the one I bought. Who cares about turbo boost lol. That only concerns me when it relates to cars. As long as it benchmarks well. The cpu on your laptop is newer but is only marginally faster. Plus having a 1080p screen far out weighs any slight discrepancy in cpu speed. I mean.. my son's not going to be playing high end games on the thing, or video encoding. I can't see it playing many games at all. But that wasn't the purpose of this device. Oh and usb c.. meh. It has usb 3. Buy an adaptor for a pound or two. I can't say I use anything usb c. Kirk out.

No 4k, 2k is max resolution. Very good price for your suggestion, the OP's product is an M3-7Y30 so it takes passive cooling running at 4.5 watts and bursts at turbo speed, no fan can be a benefit, plus USB-c, which adds quite a significant expansion possibility, compared to i3 6006u which runs at 16 watts and is fan cooled and does not do turbo bursting.

Max RAM Capacity 16GB is a good shout. Shame it's only 1 year warranty tho Only downer. It's a good device for the money. Even at £330. Depends what your looking for really. I bought this for my son for secondary school (year 7). So Microsoft office, streaming Netflix and web surfing. Be interesting to see how it handles 4k.. dunno if it will handle it. I will try it out later. But for his needs it's perfect.

Acer Spin 5 link (expired now) The next cheapest is £330 now from what I can see. Lovely little laptop / tablet.
