You can't go wrong buying Solovair. I'm getting a pair next. I have docs currently. My misses bought a pair of docs recently and couldn't wear them in, as the leather was too hard. She had to sell them. From what I read, a lot say that Solovair are better.
The quality of their products looks pretty good. The price isn't off putting if we are talking about proper high quality shoes.
Most people have, seeing as they used to provide the soles for docs until the mid '90's (lol) Obviously, the quality is going to be unreal, when they are innovators of the original Dr. Martens. Arguably, the docs quality isn't what it used to be, being made in China etc. Solovair are still made in England.
Currently have a pair of for life DMs. As good as the day I bought them and once worn in as comfortable as anything I wear. Buy the made in UK Boots and they will last you for years.
Does any one have a discount code?
Crikey, I haven't had a pair of DMs since the late 1980's - I'm sure they cost about £29 :D I seem to recall they were horrible to wear for a while until the leather broke in, then they were comfy, then they fell to bits.
I have always worn Dr Martens, I managed to get a high quality ‘Made in England’ pair in the sale for around £100 but the original price is £250 by which is too expensive for what they should be.
Like everything in this time. It is not mean they are worster and less comfortable than the other shoes, like She said. You just have to look to do not buy fake ones.
