Well I can for instance go answer the front door, go make a coffee or walk to the newsagents with my headset on without leaving the call. Rather handy. And as above you don't look unprofessional / silly like you do with big clunky ones on.
Maybe missing something. Don’t need range as I am sat in front of a PC with a webcam talking with multiple members of staff at once. I’ll tell the managers and other folks they are low end. Should raise a chuckle.
Yeah, have updated the firmware. Will try the EQ. Did a test Bluetooth call from my phone connected to the headset to his phone and sounded fine but he says when in an Xbox party his mates said sounds worse than his wired one he was relaxing. Can also hear slight buzzing sound but that’s a Bluetooth thing I would suggest.
Also there has been a few updates for the headset, make sure the updates are done. I tested the mic by recording something to my phone and sounded all ok to me. Here are the good eq settings to try.
Lad is getting the same. Might have to go back.

Xbox Wireless Headset for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows 10 Devices £89.99 at Amazon
In Amazon UK! Finally back in stock! God knows for how long will it last! Fly!!
The official wireless Xbox headset is a lot better than I expected. It syncs quickly with the console and can also connect through bluetooth to other devices. The volume controls on the headphones are very intuitive. Can’t recommend it enough!
I also have both (PSVR for the win!), however in my experience the game matching experience and team chat is far superior on the Xbox. Also my PS4 controllers suffer for drift. I have bought 4 brand new ones and they all suffer from it at some point. I could send them off for repair, but I can't be bothered with the time & effort involved. (FWIW I have had 8 wireless Xbox controllers running without issue at the same time as just 1 PS4 controller and the PS4 controller drifts or fails to respond)
I paid like £5 for 70 days. When it runs out,I will get that offer. My Ps5 like gets used rarely and UGP enable more game usage. Outriders is being played ATM
Totally agree I'm PS user always have been but having used UGP it sold it to me. I bought an Xbox X and not looked back I've bought a few couple UGP offer online so now have the pass for another 18 months for about £70 I'm a very happy with my decision.
Looks like Microsoft have their act together over Sony. Generally Console and peripherals from Microsoft are more available. Even though ps5 has sold more, it does not justify Sony supply chain. I have both and prefer the Xbox hands down

Official Xbox Wireless Headset £89.99 + £4.99 delivery @ Game
IN STOCK - Out of stock everywhere else, unless you want to pay inflated prices on eBay https://www.game.co.uk/en/m/xbox-wireless-headset-2848663
I'm saving up for an Elite 2 controller - I have enough for the Elite and I'm waiting on Design Lab coming back online (I was told it would be the 23rd, I'm guessing that's the 23rd of May & not March!) Worth noting that you can order from other regions (all with free delivery). It's worth visiting other regions (change the country on the drop down menu bottom left). America usually have a lot more in stock and Japan always have quirky items! https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/locale.aspx?absoluteReturnUrl=https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb?&ef_id=CjwKCAjwr_uCBhAFEiwAX8YJgbALtIO-Y3H5CC1woIji9ZXvruRTPlHi6pueusZsX0Wmxb3UTFwXRRoCFd0QAvD_BwE:G:s&s_kwcid=AL!4249!3!219483458531!e!!g!!microsoft%20store&ef_id=CjwKCAjwr_uCBhAFEiwAX8YJgbALtIO-Y3H5CC1woIji9ZXvruRTPlHi6pueusZsX0Wmxb3UTFwXRRoCFd0QAvD_BwE:G:s&OCID=AID2100146_SEM_CjwKCAjwr_uCBhAFEiwAX8YJgbALtIO-Y3H5CC1woIji9ZXvruRTPlHi6pueusZsX0Wmxb3UTFwXRRoCFd0QAvD_BwE:G:s The Australian site have them for $149.95 AUSD - which is about £89 Scratch that - they appear to have updated the checkout process now and locked the region in the address entry (it used to be editable!).
Sorry to hear that - I just got lucky this time!!
Out of stock! ;(

Xbox wireless headset pre order (instock at very) £89.99
I know this will probably go cold but just got a pre-order at very at rrp , missed the other previous deals and out of stock everyone , hopefully help someone out https://www.ver… Read more
Hate to be that guy unless I am missing something but why is this a deal? The suggested retail price is £89.99 which you can get directly from microsoft.
Very positive review I was after a gaming headset for my xbox and this seems to be a reasonable priced option.
Mine will hopefully arrive tomorrow to pair up with the Series X I finally managed to get from Argos today.
The PS4 apparently supports Bluetooth headsets, but surely getting one of the Sony wireless headsets is a better idea. Sony have been making pretty good ones for over half a decade, with good PS4 integration; Microsoft have been well behind in this area until now.

Xbox Wireless Headset £89.99 (£3.99 delivery) @ Very
As title, deal available with gamepass https://www.very.co.uk/xbox-series-x-wireless-headset/1600573663.prd
Yeah good idea mate. I've just sold a pair of Rig 800 LX headphones for these, great bit of kit but look a bit garish and the battery been hammered, got £70 😳 These look really smart and actually 'sound' pretty good. Think Xbox/MS will have done a good job on these, hopefully get some reviews pre release
I think I'll stick with the Very one even though they charge extra for delivery. I actually opted for the 3 year insurance at 19£. Think good value if they ever act up after the years warranty!
No probs, very annoy me with the deliver charge, if they pop up somewhere without delivery then very will get cancelled :)
Thanks fod the heads up bud (y)

Xbox Headset Queries
My son has had the Xbox One X since it's release just over three years ago, however, has never managed to keep a pair of headphones in useable condition for much more than a year. … Read more
Sorry, I didn't see your reply and that adapter should work fine.
Trying to find cheap xbox controllers but damn they're still expensive
Great, I'm sold. Is the one in the link I provided suitable for the Series X controller?
I use the wireless adapters with Xbox one controllers but believe they work with the series X controllers as well and there's an official pack with the Series X and the wireless adapter. A bluetooth connection only allows one controller with no headset while the wireless adapter supports multiple controllers and headsets. Experiences vary and many people here find the controllers work fine over bluetooth and the adapter is unnecessary, I find the wireless adapter works more reliably and is easy to pair/unpair and I use a headset so I'm happy with the adapter.

Xbox headset recommendations under £100
Hello, My current xbox one x headset broke and I have to buy a new one. Thankfully black friday/cyber Monday is just around the corner. I was wondering if anyone had any recommend… Read more
You can get turtle beach, not wireless but the wire only goes in game pad so not stretch across the room for around £30 and there decent enough, if you want true wireless gaming head set steal series is the way forward I have them for pc over 20 hours battery and sound awesome. Going to get Xbox pair. But they will set you back over £120 but you get what you pay for..
The stealth 600 are going for about £70. They cheapest wireless i can see £50 or so on ebay
I have previously when my headset broke, you can hear them fine but other people struggle to hear you and there is a little delay too
Have you tried talking through app? Is it a viable option?
I don’t think you can get the mic to work on non Xbox headsets, you would either have to spend £100+ on one, talk through the app, or just buy a cheap headset with one cable to plug into the controller

Don't get these refurbs from telephones online. I bought two and the jack snapped off both, one rendering a phone useless My review
Turtle beach are great. Prices start from around £30 for the stereo ones ( I have these think they are called 70x), have a search on amazon or pop into game to find the ones your looking for to suit your budget.
