Hello all, I have got a new Poco X3 pro a few days ago, and I have noticed that it doesn't have badge counts next to any of the apps. Notifications are on the top of the screen but… Read more

Sorry to be a pain. I followed the video to the T but even after changing it to number the notifications are still showing at the top and not as number badges, any ideas please?

aishakhan894

Thank you very much, I spent a whole day trying to sort it out to no avail. Your link helped me do it in less than a minute (y)

aishakhan894

Thank you.

bozo007

I searched for "Poco X3 Pro notification badge" and here is the first link I got. (annoyed)

Byno

Go into launcher settings and change the notification badges option to number. If not already set.

Anyone has or had one of these, when you get a message or any kind of alert, does the phone light up?Have a great Sunday ;) .
bwanakuba

You are right, it's not the phone but older version of Android on it(without the required settings). DND works to prevent sounds etc and doesn't affect lighting up. Problem is well documented with Oreo and I joined the discussion if people had further thoughts or answers. Thanks.

Byno

You'll be able to disable that, if not then that's a limitation of your phone, not Android. I'd have thought at the very least setting up DND (Do Not Disturb) mode for bed would do the trick.

bwanakuba

Problem to me is the whole phone lights up when receiving a message or alert at night when I am asleep! Strange OP hasn't contributed further! Also he should have named /labelled the discussion "Lights up!"

Byno

Disabling the always on display (set to 10 seconds after tapping) will grant me an extra 9 minutes of battery life on my Poco F3. Some people worry too much about battery life on phones, I used to be one of them. Plus the OP didn't really elaborate or even return to clarify why it matters if it lights up. Perhaps they want it to!

bwanakuba

It only makes slight difference. It would speed up charging and slightly less annoying than when light is on. Mind you, some people might like the light. Screen shot was good I think you were talking about the LED Notification light which being on is fine. This discussion is about phone lighting up and staying on when receiving message or alert.

hi plan to purchase redmi note 10s tomorrow for £159 how to get £15 off vouchers
I_Wish

Google 'mi store £15 refer a friend' and click on the first link. Then click on the referral link and sign up as a new user. Once you signed up you should get a £15 coupon in your coupon section, if not wait a day or so until it appears, if not you'll be scratching your head wondering if you done it properly or not.

melted

You need to refer a different email address to the one you register with to send the referral (obviously), but you also need to either open the referral and register using a different browser, or as a different "person" in chrome, or otherwise clear all cookies and data after sending the referral that could allow mi to link the accounts. Not sure if they check IP address too.

I had a LG G6 before and that didn't show either but my brother has different phone and it shows for him in the settings.
I_Wish

As mentioned above you can enter your number manually on to your sim in your sim card settings.

wibbleboy

I have the Poco X3 Pro, and those numbers were only displayed on mine after manually entering them; they weren't detected automatically on either o2 or Sky.

mutley1

my husband has the poco x3 nfc phone and when you go into settings, sim card and network, it shows the EE sim with the phone number. if you are not seeing the phone number then it is probably because the sim has not been allocated a phone number.

BobbyBoy21

The Sims are pay as you go so no credits and I wanted to avoid calling the network as that takes long.

BobbyBoy21

I have check that but it doesn't display the numbers.

I need help finding a UK version of the charger. Can someone please help me ???
Unknown.Legend

Charger

bozo007

You need a charger or just a pin converter?

wayners

Just found this 65watt hotukdeals.com/deals/ugreen-65w-usb-c-pd-charger-plug-gan-dual-type-c-wall-power-adapter-at-amazon-3764049?utm_source=mappshare&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=3764049&utm_campaign=2021-07-30 £25 Looking at spec it's 45 Watts max on one port so a bit misleading... Anyway. You getting the idea

wayners

Just use any USB fast charger. The phone will take a max of 55watts but you can use a 30watt charger which will be a little slower to charge or a 65watt which will deliver the 55watts max input. Is fast charging at max speed important to you? If not buy something around 30watts as will still be quick at charging just not the max speed but way cheaper than say a 65 watt charger. Something like this although type c plug needed both ends of charging lead hotukdeals.com/deals/anker-nano-usb-c-plug-20w-piq-30-durable-compact-fast-charger-powerport-iii-usb-c-charger-ps449-non-prime-at-amazon-3771033?utm_source=mappshare&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=3771033&utm_campaign=2021-07-30 Or https://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/mangotek-20w-usb-c-charger-3765873?utm_source=mappshare&utm_medium=referral&utm_content=3765873&utm_campaign=2021-07-30 More watts the faster though

Both my wife and I are on EE she has a iPhone when we both do speed tests mines like 5mb hers ranges from 15mb to 25 mb if there anyway to fix this issue within the settings
Mr_Pickled_Egg1

Seems to be fixed now mate didn't risk messing with settings I'm guessing the network just bedded in after few hours and speeds of about 30mb compared to 4mb with three mobile

groenleader

Its worth noting, that what people rave or vote hot about and what they would spend their money are two different things. The Poco makes sense on paper, look at the stats vs some more expensive options like an Iphone. Its a bargain price for the specs, but maybe its real world delivery is matches its price tag. Let us know if you get it sorted!

I_Wish

Try this to see if this helps. @50 sec you need to uncheck 'Unspecified' and check everything else and then click ok. Then click on the 'More' and click on 'Save'

Mr_Pickled_Egg1

Quite a drastic speed difference though all the people on here raving about the Poco's if this is a issue

sm9690

iPhones are able to pick up more frequency bands. See below for example (I used iPhone 11 in this example)
