Waitrose - Yorkshire Tea - Biscuit Brew - tastes of Rich Tea biscuits and Tea, lush

I have tried this, in fact I have still got most of the packet left .. I have to say i'm not that impressed. Much prefer the "normal" Yorkshire tea.

As it should be.

Somehow I'd prefer a cup of Yorkshire tea and a pack of real Rich Tea biscuits thanks.

Mam, me biscuit's fallin in me brew !!! lol

It's all I drink now, apart from whiskey and beer. Lol

Northern Monk 'Dont Mess With Yorkshire' Ale 440ml can. Morrisons £2 (Doncaster)

Obviously not made by a true Yorkshireman to expect to sell it here, as no true Yorkshireman would spend £2 on a can of the stuff! 8)

The 'lager drinker' insult is ridiculous. Lager is a fine style of beer like any other. Northern Monk are a good brewery but not sure this is a genuinely great deal - would be getting slagged to hell at this price if it was from Theakstons, Marstons etc.

Didn’t have this in Worcester but they did have this

I will stick with Rochefort 10 that I paid the same price for.

Hmm. Sometimes but the thing is it's often small producers asking for much more money because they don't have economies of scale and they can't compete with the macro breweries. So they certainly can't beat them in terms of marketing.

Black Sheep Yorkshire square ale (500ml) for £1 at B & M bargains
LocalLocalFound 11th AugFound 11th Aug
Got some of these at my local B & M in the centre of Gloucester yesterday

Yes only got a couple. There was some on the shelf in the when I left ((i think they were in the second section of drinks shelving under the ciders)

It's the fermenting vessels that are square, and open topped.

Well, they are a bit odd in Yorkshire. ;)

Will have to try a couple. Hope you left some OP.

It's the ale that's square.

This is on my 'summer bucket list' thank you for posting

Absolutely love Bolton Abbey, we usually take a picnic and get a coffee and drinks from the cafe. We went to the Halloween walk last year and the kids loved it. Its close to Skipton so we sometimes visit there afterwards x

The £10 parking is a joke, it's a beautiful place to spend a family day out, tarnished by the Duke of Devonshire's greed. What's a Duke of Devonshire doing overcharging honest, hardworking Yorkshire folk anyway? I suspect he was booted out of the south west for his money grabbing ways!!! Where's Robin Hood when you need him!!!!

I imagine with the hot weather & everything being so dry a disposable BBQ would probably not be a good idea (y)

It’s in Skipton

Exactly what my original comment was about 👇🏾 Then you told me to get headphones to listen to recorded firework sounds without me even saying anything to you. Does it seem like I want to watch or listen to a firework display at a zoo?

Can't say I've heard of the acts, I'm not interested. Yes, fireworks exploding can be distressing to many creatures, be it a pet dog, a tiger in captivity, or a person trying to rest.

Lol the noises cause distress to you? Wow(excited) The best example of an area to see interesting animals and learn about them is the wild. I suppose prison is the best place to see and learn about humans because that’s all it is, a prison. Go ahead and cheer on S club 7 while learning about the animals in the best environment. Don’t forget your s club t shirt (unicorn)

If you like the noises so much you could just listen to some pops and bangs you've recorded on headphones. I'd rather have no noise than a noise that causes distress- thinking about it I think bonfire night as a whole would be better without the noises that go on and on all through the season. Obviously the park is a business, but it has a charity, the Yorkshire Wildlife Park Foundation, which does try and help preserve endangered species in their own habitat, as well as captivity. The thing I like about this place is that the animals are not in tiny spaces. Some of them are taken from conventional zoo's are rehomed, the lions from Romania is the example I think most of us are aware of, who were poorly fed (on chicken if I recall) and in horrifically small cages. I'm sure it's not perfect, but it's the best example of an area to see interesting animals and learn about them that I have seen.

What’s the point in watching a silent firework display? Imagine a silent bonfire night XD If the park cares more about the animals why aren’t they free in the wild rather than making profit from them in tiny spaces if they’re not on the endangered species list :/

Be careful with your young kids in these places, my 5 yr old was landed on by 2 older kids who bundled into her trampoline, broken leg. First aiders also clueless at our local one. Dangerous places in my opinion.

Not at all. Humberside is very much alive and kicking !!!!
