How dare you! It was TWO glorified cooks, a head waiter and a TV presenter. In other words, gospel.

mrtea1967

What one glorified COOK says about it has no relevance,Its personal taste, and as it is one of the top selling T- bags in the country that says it all.Hope THEY enjoy there free T-bags whilst they last.Micheal parkinson / Kaiser chiefs your jobs safe.

Seem to remember this came bottom in Tried and Tasted's blind taste. Proper overrated.

Thanks op Was paying over 4% with Halifax so tried and got a fixed deal with these for 1.64% Well happy

dodgymix

£2090 a year on a £100k mortgage is a massive saving I always start looking 3 months before my old deal runs off so it goes over on the day.. sod SVRs I’m in the fortunate / unfortunate position that my mortgage is now down to the minimum levels of most providers so Ill struggle to get mortgages now and hence the reason I’d never pay a fee upfront Big mortgage and the fees offset the cost for better rates

ashmac

If anyone knows about mortgages I applied and they want to speak to my employer to check my wage and there send someone to value house it ect as I want to remortage I have 65% ltv ..does this mean I have a good chance of being accepted for it ? They said they will be in contact with a couple of days if so I can save £130 a month

ashmac

Still gone through with it .there coming to value the house ect .I'm with Halifax on 4% at moment variable rate 😣

dodgymix

JUmps to 1.91% for 65% Seems ridiculous as a bank / BS would treat both as fully secured.. banks general write down property to 70% on balance sheet

Took us 45 minutes, and that was going as slow as we could...

myusernamehasgone234

Oh no :( I’m planning to take my lad along. How long does it take to get around? Is there enough for a half day?

Waterlogged

Went to theis, it's not great, worth about £6 entry, not near the original. Price. Very little at it, s few stalls, 2cm ball pit and a few cut up animals.

myusernamehasgone234

Yes Harrogate. I’ve amended the title to reflect that

This place is about 20 mins drive outside the main city centre, pending traffic . Top tip is drive to the park and ride 10-15 mins on the way in to city centre and to park and get a return bus ticket in to the city centre is around £3. Saves parking fees and the hastle of city centre traffic, just ask at reception and they will advise.

Obviously not made by a true Yorkshireman to expect to sell it here, as no true Yorkshireman would spend £2 on a can of the stuff! 8)

Al2001

The 'lager drinker' insult is ridiculous. Lager is a fine style of beer like any other. Northern Monk are a good brewery but not sure this is a genuinely great deal - would be getting slagged to hell at this price if it was from Theakstons, Marstons etc.

dutch090163

Didn’t have this in Worcester but they did have this

Madchester

I will stick with Rochefort 10 that I paid the same price for.

angry_wasp

Hmm. Sometimes but the thing is it's often small producers asking for much more money because they don't have economies of scale and they can't compete with the macro breweries. So they certainly can't beat them in terms of marketing.

Absolutely love Bolton Abbey, we usually take a picnic and get a coffee and drinks from the cafe. We went to the Halloween walk last year and the kids loved it. Its close to Skipton so we sometimes visit there afterwards x

cheappriceburns

The £10 parking is a joke, it's a beautiful place to spend a family day out, tarnished by the Duke of Devonshire's greed. What's a Duke of Devonshire doing overcharging honest, hardworking Yorkshire folk anyway? I suspect he was booted out of the south west for his money grabbing ways!!! Where's Robin Hood when you need him!!!!

grace.oneill

I imagine with the hot weather & everything being so dry a disposable BBQ would probably not be a good idea (y)

Exactly what my original comment was about 👇🏾 Then you told me to get headphones to listen to recorded firework sounds without me even saying anything to you. Does it seem like I want to watch or listen to a firework display at a zoo?

Mark_P-97fc0.76316

Can't say I've heard of the acts, I'm not interested. Yes, fireworks exploding can be distressing to many creatures, be it a pet dog, a tiger in captivity, or a person trying to rest.

jayonline85

Lol the noises cause distress to you? Wow(excited) The best example of an area to see interesting animals and learn about them is the wild. I suppose prison is the best place to see and learn about humans because that’s all it is, a prison. Go ahead and cheer on S club 7 while learning about the animals in the best environment. Don’t forget your s club t shirt (unicorn)

Mark_P-97fc0.76316

If you like the noises so much you could just listen to some pops and bangs you've recorded on headphones. I'd rather have no noise than a noise that causes distress- thinking about it I think bonfire night as a whole would be better without the noises that go on and on all through the season. Obviously the park is a business, but it has a charity, the Yorkshire Wildlife Park Foundation, which does try and help preserve endangered species in their own habitat, as well as captivity. The thing I like about this place is that the animals are not in tiny spaces. Some of them are taken from conventional zoo's are rehomed, the lions from Romania is the example I think most of us are aware of, who were poorly fed (on chicken if I recall) and in horrifically small cages. I'm sure it's not perfect, but it's the best example of an area to see interesting animals and learn about them that I have seen.

jayonline85

What’s the point in watching a silent firework display? Imagine a silent bonfire night XD If the park cares more about the animals why aren’t they free in the wild rather than making profit from them in tiny spaces if they’re not on the endangered species list :/
