Ive been using a number of the 50% off (all now expired), £10 off £25 etc pizza hut codes/vouchers and to be fair, the saving isnt actually that good.

1) You can never use them with meal deals, most of which would have saved 30%-40% anyway and include what most ppl order.

2) The individual pizzas you must buy to qualify for the deals are very overpriced compared to independent pizza outlets, who (for me locally at least) offer pizzas of comparable standard.

3) To use the semi-decent pizza hut codes you need to spend £25+ and I often end up adding things I dont need just to meet the minimum spend.

My local pizza express does any pizza, any size for £7.99 on collection, and I saw an ad for a new pizza company who also do xl pizzas for £7.99, with free delivery on orders over £10.

Shopping wisely, unless you want an overload of junk food, looking beyond the initial "50% off" attraction and ordering from other [smaller] pizza companies not only saves money, but also means you dont have to buy that extra tub of ice cream and portion of wings!

Alternatively, make your own. Ive tried it and its very easy to make the dough, and quite fun adding whatever you want. Again, damn cheaper too.

True but if you are spending 15 anyway at pizza hut then this deal is good because you then get 10.00 free food. Obviously for people who don't like pizza hut anyway, this won't make a difference. It is good if you have two people sharing. Here in Aberdeen even local pizza outlets are pricey. My local charges 10.20 for a 12" pizza. Of course things may change with the credit crunch and hopefully all fast food places will reduce their prices. But yes PH is overpriced and I would never use them unless I had a voucher.

Was in london over the weekend and picked up a 12" with any 3 toppings (in addition cheese and tomato) for £4.50. A 15" was £6.

For an additional £1 you can add chips and a can of pop.

These are realistic prices for what is essentially dough with a few toppings!

I wasnt expecting anything amazing from the place, which is a do-it-all chicken, chips, pizza, and kebab shop, but it was cooked fresh, and was surprisingly tasty too.

Excusing the poor KFC-ripoff name, very well done FFC in Mile end!
