Heat added, works for me. Had an account with a previous code applied (didn't order and then it expired). Offer still worked, and LOVE614 also gives the same £10 off £15 for me too.

The driver keeps £2.60 of the £3.50. For that £2.60 (s)he has to drive/cycle to McDonalds, go inside and wait among the rowdy teens for 5+ minutes, collect the food, drive (paying for their own fuel/maintenance)/ cycle to your home and give you the food then wait for the next order. And its a joke that they have an optional tip (90%+ of people don't tip anyway)? Get real.

You couldn't pay me £10 per order to do that. Obviously the whole point of paying for delivery is because the cost outweighs the inconvenience of picking it up yourself. Anyone who expects someone to do that for like £1 is the real joke.

Delivery zone in my area ends across the street from me hahaha

Put your address as the house opposite and call the driver?
Got the promotional code email but there’s £3.50 delivery fee. Not many good restaurants listed. Uber Eats reviews are quite bad. Didn’t order. Deleted the app.

They've raised the delivery fee by the looks of it, used to be £2.50 for everything apart from McDonald's and Starbucks at £3.50. Just ordered today on new account. There are loads of good restaurants, but it just depends on your area as a restaurant can only deliver so far. Uber Eats customer service are useless as you have to email them for items missing instead of calling/live chatting, but they do refund if anything goes wrong - they are definitely worth a try. McDonald's delivery and GDK (most branches) are Uber exclusives so there is often no other choice.

Not available in my area. Just 10 miles from Manchester lol
Just ordered using this coupon. Was my 2nd order ever but previous was from McD & I did notice the steep delivery cost of 3.5 then but thought its typical Uber making a quick buck using their exclusivity. But just realised today that neither do they have the coverage of options, nor is 3.5 only for McD. I don’t think Im every going to use UberEats again unless theres at least a 10 discount like today which just barely makes it a deal.

Before it was just McDonald's and Starbucks where they charged extra, now they raised the prices for everything else. To be honest, it's expensive but not outlandishly larger than the competition. Deliveroo base their fees over distance - average fee is around £2.70-£3.00. £3 + service charge is £3.50.

Unfortunately there is no other choice if you want McDonald's delivered. Looks like McDonald's are going to end the exclusivity agreement though, I hope they do!
Does anyone know when this expires?
Just had my order cancelled and now can't use the code to order again. 😡

Contact Uber support and see if they will add it again.

Tip is for the driver, not Uber. Drivers don't get paid much so it's a reasonable feature to have in place, but I never tip!

I miss the limited time offer free delivery deals (5 minute deadlines on selected stores) they use to have in place

Free delivery at selected restaurants though, Uber usually have some promo running with different restaurants for free delivery.

Wait, can it be used multiple times on one account or do you need a new account each time?

Uber Eats have horrific customer service and after being foolish enough to go back a few times I'll never go near them again, and warn everyone I ever talk to away from using them.

Look at their review scores on TrustPilot. The lowest I've ever seen (Rating: 0.3/10 - ‎5,527 review) uk.trustpilot.com/rev…com

It doesn't get much better on their Facebook - Rating: 1.6 - ‎186 votes facebook.com/pg/…ws/

Or this review site reviews.io/com…ats

Surely it’s up to the takeaway if they want to user their service? They aren’t forced to use it
drivers no longer want to work for small takeaways somehow they are forced to use them ...
The uber eats drivers park on the road where I work and wait for a call from Mc Donald's. No way would I order using Uber. The drivers are there for hours at a time, I've seen them use the road as a toilet. We have told McDonald's but they are really not interested. Sorry folks
excellent.
ordered £10 off applied.
Uber is amazing.

it's funny how people here are complaining about pretty much anything "new",they are so scared of anything new they haven't used before..browsing internet and comparing review scores for a food delivery service even when they offer £10 off discount
well let me tell you, there are pros and cons about anything in life.
any possible negative of Uber Eats could apply to any other food delivery service.but it has many positives..
get on with times and stop being so negative.

They choose to do it. If margins are so low, then they should seek alternative forms of income.

The point is, from my perspective as a consumer, every single other takeaway delivery service is either free or a maximum of £2. This isn't good value for money for me and without the discount code, there's no chance I'd use them.
I sat inside a Mcdonalds a couple of months ago and the food was barely warm(Even though they say they are made to order now),how warm is the food going to be after it has been in a car for delivery or bike, surely chips would be floppy from the steam, and you have to pay £3.50 for the luxury

Best pay driver a tip in cash.

Online payment is just so HMRC can track it :/
