Bought the Barista Pro at the beginning of the year. With a bit of effort, I avoided paying what was then full price for it. With 10% off it's £440 £540 which is a very good price. It's in a different league to the Barista Express. The quality of espresso you can pull for the money is exceptional.

By having a very bad maths/keyboard day. £540 was what I meant, even if it's not what I typed.

Brilliant machine, well worth the higher price. Almost makes the dual boiler Oracle at three times the price a little obsolete. If you know espresso machines, the instant availability of hot water or steam from a single system is amazing. Just make sure the group head, portafilter and basket are well warmed up before using as there's no way of preheating. Makes a massive difference to extraction on this machine.
There's also a trade in deal with Sage coffee machines currently, if you have an old junk machine. Details on the Sage website.
